    Default 2 ToB Questions

First question is on the Aptitude Weapon Enhancement

A wielder who has feats that affect the use of a particular type of weapon... can apply the benefits of those feats to any weapon that has this quality.

Would this include feats that require discipline/monk/etc weapons e.g. Shadow Blade, White Raven Defense, etc?

Second Question: if a character has levels in Swordsage and Dervish, can they benefit from a stance and dervish dance at the same time, or are the stances considered to limiting to be incorporated into a dance?

    1. Aptitude is greatly debated.
It lists a couple of PHB feats of the Weapon Focus line, then states "or the like".
If you consider "the like" referring just to the Weapon Focus feat line, then no, if you ignore those examples and read the rest of the feat description, then yes.
    Basically, ask the DM.

    2. There's no limit to ToB stances. To enter a stance you must be able to move, then you'll stay in that stance until you change to another one or until specified by the stance itself (Stone Dragon ones usually end if you move). So you'll benefit from the stance while doing any other activity, including dancing. Refer to ToB page 38, "a stance remains in effect indefinitely".

You also drop out of the stance if you are render unconscious, dead, or other such conditions that render you unable to move. Most adepts take a swift action to assume a stance as their first action when waking up.
