    Default Alignment Theme Songs

So I did something like this before with character classes, and that was pretty fun. So we'll do it with everyone's favorite topic that definitely isn't controversial in any way.

So what songs do you think describe a particular alignment?

Lawful Good: Light in the Black by Sabaton
Neutral Good: Gates of Glory by Twilight Force
Chaotic Good: Resist and Bite by Sabaton
Lawful Neutral: Back in Control by Sabaton
True Neutral: TV Static by A TV that can't find a signal
Chaotic Neutral: Breaking the Law by Judas Priest
Lawful Evil: Rise of Evil by Sabaton
Neutral Evil: Can't think of one
Chaotic Evil: Master of Puppets by Metallica

Looking at this list, it reminds me that I've been listening to a lot of metal recently. But that's completely off topic

Do you have any that are good?

For alternates, Javert's half of the confrontation as LN. Master of the House for CE. Shake it off by Taylor Swift for True Neutral. Only the good die young for NE. The Bishop (Les Mis) for LG. Last Midnight (Into the Woods) for CN. Killer Queen by Queen for LE. Not sure about the other two.

Mmm, "Mr. Evil" by Freedom Call fits both the LE and NE themes quite well.
As does "Planet Hell" and "She is my Sin" by Nightwish, to think of it.

For other Alignments, lemme check once I`m home.

I think "Hero" by Heather Dale fits LG much better.

Iced Earth "Coming Curse" fits pretty much any Evil character.

Iced Earth "Something Wicked" fits NE fairly well.

Really, the entire Javert/Valjean dynamic is an excellent discourse into LN vs. CG.

I rather like Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation" for Chaotic Neutral.

    Sorry, for playing Chaotic Neutral.

Although I would more call Valjean NH. Also, does anyone else always hear the phrase "the Bishop" in the exact tone and voice as it is said in the Monty Python bit about... THE BISHOP.

Came for showtunes recommendations. Was not disappointed. Was very pleased with use of Les Mis and Man of La Mancha. Was surprised at the mention of Jekyll & Hyde. Apparently some people do like that one. Huh.

Will offer this, not for an alignment specifically, but rather for an alignment shift from Good to Evil.

Will offer this for Lawful Evil, since it pretty much embodies the idea of temptation and Faustian pacts.

Will offer this, also, for Lawful Evil, because John Williams had to get inspired someplace.

Will offer this, also also, for Lawful Evil, because The Master.

Finally, will offer this for Lawful Evil, because Fantasia got it right.

I disagree with Metallica's "Master Of Puppets" for Chaotic Evil. That song is about how cocaine ultimately controls and dominates your life, into a downward spiral that culminates in your death. The bridge, specifically, is from the voice of the addict, pleading for the promised rewards implicit in cocaine's high, with a final plea of "fix me" that drains away.

It's 100% about detrimental (and ultimately fatal) domination and control, not really a "chaotic" kind of thing.

    What?

Back in Black is about bouncing back from tragedy. AC/DC came BACK after the death of lead singer Bon Scott (hence in Black = in mourning).
