His weapon alights with a green like flame once again as he strikes out towards the creature. With Aya nearby the gotou ren is a bit distracted giving Xingxing the perfect opportunity to strike in the most vital of spots! Qianal blocks the blows of the other dragonborn with his shield, with both of the attacks bouncing off the shield. The paladin knew he had drained his ability to call upon the wrath of the divine elements by attacking the leviathan, but he could not fight Song Ning without some burst of power.

Do it, I know you want to.

Rage washed over Qianal, and the dragon roared as he brought his sword up against the other longyi. "TONIGHT, YOU DIE, MASTER OF BEING DEAD!"

Aya Re Fifth level sorcerer HP: 39/39 AC: 15 Concentrating on: -- Myboatmyboatmyboat, Aya thinks to herself, almost in a panic. She had to come up with a way to salvage it. Hopefully the kraken was finally done beating on it. She looks at the little kobold warrior next to her, however the dragonborn's battle cry distracts her. She flies across the deck, pulling out her diamond as she does so. Focusing her will through the diamond, she launches a small orb of energy toward the enemy dragonborn. As it sails close to him, a thunderous boom rocks the surface of the ship. Spoiler: OOC Show Chromatic Orb at 3rd level -- Damage type Thunder Attack roll: (d20+6)[18] for (5d8)[34] damage

Song Ning laughs in his enemy's face, "HA! Your retort is as awkward and as clumsy as your fighting style. You are a drunken monkey compared to me - a master. I would train you in my fighting style! Abandon these foolish peasants. Join me and the Night Mother! It is the destiny of all Longyi to be united under her rule! It is as inevitable as the sunrise. Submit, take your place at my side! We shall rule this city as warrior brothers!" As he finishes his little speech, the hulking dragon-man leaps up and brings his axe down on Qianal's left shoulder. he follows this vicious attack up with a swift thrust into the dragonborn's gut.

Meanwhile, the kobolds continue to attack their enemies. One of the Goutou Ren fighting Guiren ducks low and drives his dagger into the petjar's foot, while his partner lunges into the air with a back flip, raking Guiren's cheek! The Goutou ARen warrior dives into the ship via the hole left by the kraken's visious assault. As he dives in he yells, "What an idiot! He let me down here! Ha!" The kobold battling Jiafa zig zags around and quickly slices the tiefling's thigh. The final Goutou Ren grabs some rope that is tied to the mast. He quickly wraps it around his arm, then in a single motion pushes off the side of the mast and swings around Xingxing, slashing him in the right arm, as the kobold swoops over the gaping wound in the ship.

Guiren

Qianal, hang on! Guiren yells as Sing Nong draws blood. Noticing his distraction, the goutou ren in the stairwell flips nimbly over Guiren into the hole the kraken had made, What an idiot! He let me down here! Ha! Guiren snarls, What's down there?! The other goutou ren stabs his foot as Guiren peers below deck, Ahh! He growls and lashes back with his axe.

Aya Re Fifth level sorcerer HP: 39/39 AC: 15 Concentrating on: -- Aya surveys the battlefield briefly and realizes the squires have yet to even board the boat. She yells over to the kobolds, "Hey, numbskulls! Your source of beer is in trouble over there!!" Hoping that is enough of a prompt to them, the sorceress turns her attention back to the troubling Longyi. She concentrates a few moments, then launches another thunder orb at the dragonman. Spoiler: OOC Show Chromatic orb again...just first level this time. Attack: (d20+6)[10] for (3d8)[20] thunder damage. EDIT: Well, we know that misses. I'm wasting all these huge damage rolls. GRRRRR.

"DO YOU WANT TO RULE WITH ME OR KILL ME?!" Qianal's shield catches the first of the axe blows, but the second breaks into his side. Only his rage dulled the pain. "AND ENOUGH OF THESE OMINOUS WHATEVER MOTHER DRAGONS! NIGHT MOTHER, WITCH MOTHER, ONLY THE GLORIOUS EMPEROR FATHER FOR ME!"

Qianal thrusts forward with his longsword, striking at Song Ning.

He brushes off any little blood and rushes around the mast, at an increased pace, heading straight for the leader. The loud mouth Song Ning! Xing's blade alights with a green flame as he brings it up ready to strike Song Ning. With companions around the distractions are high for Song Ning helping Xingxing to see a vital spot to hit. Unfortunately he just misses as the flames next to Xing distracts him a momentarily. "YOU DARE refuse me!?" furiously screams Song! A dark smile washes over the man's face, "I will teach you the price for such betrayal." The blue dragonborn whirls around and brutally brings his mighty axes down upon the diminutive Conkhi, not once but twice.

Meanwhile, one kobold positions himself behind Jiafa, and then rakes at the tiefling's calf! The kobold who managed to dive below deck quietly moves out of sight. The last Goutou Ren still active takes his dagger and plunges it into Aya's throat!

Guiren

Guiren's axe buries itself in the kobold's chest and it crumples to the ground. He leaps over the hole in the deck and engages Song Ning beside Qianal. The longyi ignores them to direct his violence at Xingxing. Coward!! Guiren yells, Aakaash, lend me the strength to punish this wicked craven!

Aya Re Fifth level sorcerer HP: 39/39 AC: 15 Concentrating on: -- Aya's eyes narrow in frustration as she misses the dragonborn. Additionally, she had been so focused on smiting Song Ning that she had floated down low enough for a goutou ren to take a swipe at her. She concentrates for a few moments and rises back into the air with a scowl. Raising her right hand to her choker again and clasping the emerald, she lashes out with her left, and a bolt of fire jump toward the longyi. Spoiler: OOC Show Fire Bolt: (d20+6)[13] for [roll]2d10][/roll] damage. I forgot to roll for wild magic last turn....so here's a roll that isn't going to be a one: (d20)[6] EDIT: Not going to bother rerolling the damage, because I know that I'd roll a 20 and just tick myself off.

Xingxing Level 5 Rogue Arcane Trickster | HP: 22/46 | AC: 17 | PP: 19 | 1st Level Spell Slots: 3/3 The great axe comes swinging down onto Xingxing and cuts a large gash across his chest followed by a deep cut across his thigh. The hits would have dropped him if he wasn't so accustomed to fighting. He saw the great axe coming and moved back just an inch. A swift reaction that saved his life. The whole situation was making his blood boil. This stupid ship and these stupid gotou ren and most of all this annoying Longyi! Xing tumbles to his right, towards his large badger companion, and sheaths his sword in the process. He raises both his hands up at the Longyi disgrace in front of him, those around could begin to feel a heat sweltering around the area where Xing stood. Wind began to pick up flowing towards Xingxings palms before finally a burst of fire fans out of them and towards Song Ning as well as anything around him! Spoiler: Turn 6 OOC Show Movement: Move to M15 Burning Hands Spell Attack: Aiming at N14 and anything behind it Xing will cast Burning Hands - (1d20+7)[17] vs Song Ning Dex defense. "BLESSED ELEMENTS, HEAL THE INJURED!" Qianal invoked the heavens, and they responded, healing Aya and Xingxing of some of their wounds.

The barbarian paladin then swung his sword again at the other longyi, howling like a raging dragon.

Xing casts a fire spell, igniting the mast, turing it into a massive, flaming tree-sized bonfire!

In the glow of the flaming mast, Song Ning chortles with glee, "Foolish fools! I AM SONG NING, He locks his gaze on Aya, "DESTROYER OF THE HOPELESS!" He rears his axe back and assaults the poor sorceress!

Meanwhile, the kobold harassing Jiafa ducks low, slides around the warlock and shanks the tiefling in his lower back. The Goutou Ren near Aya grabs a rope attached to the mast and uses it to swing around to interpose himself between Qianal and Song Ning. The kobold laughs merrily as he yells, "YOU'RE DEAD!" The kobold then drives his dagger into the dragonborn's foot!

Guiren can hear loud mechanical clanking from below deck....

This is quickly followed up by a thunderous "CRACK" as a six foot long bolt is launched from the deck below, right into the poor petjar!

Guiren

Despite Guiren's savage attacks, the longyi continues to assault the others. He lunges at Aya, and strikes her with his axe. Guiren cries out in horror as her body goes limp and falls to the deck, Aya!! His cry is punctuated by a loud cranking sound, followed by a deafening snap. The deck near Guiren explodes as a ballista bolt smashes through from below. Guiren cries out as the thing nearly impales him. The damage to the ship is grave, but to the petjar it is superficial. He shakes off sawdust and wood chips from the debris and roars, bringing his glowing axe to bear once again against the longyi Sing Nong.

As she gathers herself, she notices her natural connection to the world...and to the weave of magic...was coming to an end. She realizes she may only have enough for a few spells left. She blinks a few times to clear her vision then yells to her companions, "We need to wrap this up, guys! Ugly here needs to go bye bye!" Aya shifts her position to her left and holds her hands out in front of her. A cloud of flame bursts forth, engulfing the longyi and the kobold behind him. Xingxing Level 5 Rogue Arcane Trickster | HP: 22/46 | AC: 17 | PP: 19 | 1st Level Spell Slots: 2/3 Xingxing jumps back as he sees a huge bolt fly through the air from beneath the ship! This whole situation is looking worse by the second and it needs to end now..... Xing positions himself between Aya and Song Ning, continuing his relentless attack against the foe! His blade alights with a green flame as prior and a wicked smile crosses his face as he notices a kobold next to Song. He lashes out at Song with his flaming sword hoping to put it down. Spoiler: Turn 7 OOC Show Movement: Move to N16 *Cast Green-Flame Blade* - Induce Melee Weapon Attack. Rapier Attack: (1d20+8)[21] vs SN - If hit deal (1d8+4)[6] fire to W2 in addition to damage done to SN (Didn't realize W2 was down. His body can just keep burning then!!) With Song Ning have fallen with from the flaming sword of Xingxing, Qianal turns his anger to the goutou ren that had interposed itself between him and the other longyi. Qianal screamed in pain and rage, and stabbed the kobold with his sword.

What does the crossed out text mean? Warrior 2 is in front of me on the map, so I'm attacking them, but I'm not sure from reading if they're actually in front of me.

With but a whimper, Song Ning thunderously collapses onto the deck. The kobolds below deck and above deck - the ones who are actually fighting and not running around like chickens with their heads cut off - throw up their hands and says, "We surrender to the Slayer of Princes! They prostrate themselves before Xing, "All hail the great and powerful... Uhhh.... Slayer... Killer... Monkey-Man!"


Meanwhile, the loyal kobbolds saunter up to Qianal.
With a dismissive snort, Wushiwu says, "Hey boss. Can you believe these chumps? Pffft, we all know you did all the work."

Aya Re Fifth level sorcerer HP: 1/39 AC: 15 Concentrating on: -- Aya quickly flies to the side of the boat to assess how far down the boat has sank. "Someone start plugging the holes!"

The loyal kobolds stand around, pretending not to hear Aya, the former-enemy kobolds continue to prostrate in front of Xing. The rest continue to screech about how they are all going to die.

Xingxing Level 5 Rogue Arcane Trickster | HP: 22/46 | AC: 17 | PP: 19 | 1st Level Spell Slots: 2/3 Xingxing is taken aback by the sudden change of loyalty of the gotou ren. Not one to pass up an opportunity he is quick to begin barking orders at them, as he sees they seem to be ignoring the rest of his party. "I AM YOUR LEADER XINGXING THE DRAGON SLAYER!! NOW QUICK! ALL HANDS ON DECK! PUT OUT THAT FIRE ON THE MAST! PLUG ANY HOLE YOU FIND! GET TO WORK!!" He then glances over to Aya and gives a little sly wink. Spoiler: OOC Roll? Show I guess maybe a deception check to take on the leader roll for them and also to convince the others that are running around to fall in line? I don't know lol (1d20+5)[17]

The two prostrating Goutou Ren jump up to their feet and run around gut punching every other kobold they run into, screeching at them to plug holes. After a few minutes, the whole crew is working together, fixing the ship, as best they can, given that they are still kobolds and lack proper materials.

Aya Re Fifth level sorcerer HP: 1/39 AC: 15 Concentrating on: -- Aya watches the chaos break out as the kobolds begin running all over the place. She covers her eyes with her hands and takes a deep breath. "Oh, ancestors, what have I done to deserve this?" She looks over the chaos one more time before alighting upon the deck. She reaches out toward one mast that is aflame, then closes her hand into a fist. As she does so, the fire suddenly snuffs, a small amount of smoke still coming off the mast, but otherwise no sign of flame. She walks around the deck putting out fires in a similar fashion. One who looks closely notes a small look of annoyance on her face, as putting out fires seems very counter to her normal mode of doing things. Spoiler: OOC Show Using Control Flames to repeatedly put out fires small enough to do so (less than a 5' cube).
