Alright, I'm confused, here. Didn't I get the higher initiative? Also, sorry for my update, apparently my computer didn't see fit to show me other people's new posts before I posted again.

Poison roll since I borked the first time: (6d12)[41]

You all take your positions, floating some 75' in the air. Each foot higher was a struggle, and you feel if you went too much higher, you'd be blown to the ground, painfully.

But, after some minute or two, the beast arises! It comes clawing out of the ground not far from where you are-almost directly underneath. Open fire!

    Spoiler: OOC

Take your readied actions, then the beast gets a round.

Rolf attacks the beast with his maul after it comes into range before the wizard puts up the wall.

    Spoiler: OOC

Assuming Rolf has been raging this whole time, which I think is reasonable.

    Attack: (1d20+15)[21] Damage: (2d6+13)[22]

DC 20 Str save or be knocked prone (if the attack hits). Hoping for low rolls: (1d20)[10]

A wall of force is only 2 inches thick iirc, so Isata should be able to cast one even with the barb right above the beast.

The winds suddenly whip up, to stronger than any natural gale should be. The beast seems to almost smile as it stands, unaffected by it.

Everyone, make a DC 20 Strength save, with disadvantage if you're flying. On a failure, you are knocked prone. Once this is resolved, it'll take the rest of its turn.

Blaz and Rolf struggle in the winds, trying to stay aloft. Blaz, being on Aldera's broom, does his best to keep her in the air.

    Spoiler: OOC

    Blaz's save: (1d20+16)[26] Disavantage: (1d20+16)[31]
    Rolf's save: (1d20+12)[25] Disadvantage: (1d20+12)[32]

As Blaz is flying on Aldera's broom, can he substitute her check for his? Because I imagine the rogue's Str save is not the best.

The beast, as the winds whip up, moves out from under the wall. Then, with a massive leap, it jumps over you, before letting itself fall and crush the unfortunate adventurers beneath it.

    Spoiler: OOC
    Show
Dashing to get the needed movement, then using Crush-everyone will need to make a DC 27 Dex save. Take (12d12)[99] bludgeoning damage (ignoring resistances) on a failure, half on a success. In addition, on a failure,
you are still under the beast when it flops, bringing you down... Painfully.

If you make your save, you're buffeted and battered, but manage to stay in the air.

    Spoiler: OOC
    Show
Rolf's readied action went off when the beastie got to melee range, the wizard's went off after that, so presumably the wall was cast so it was actually helpful.

Regardless, both Blaz and Rolf would normally fail their saves and take a whole bunch of damage. However, Blaz is using his 1/day legendary resistance to stay afloat. Dragon masks are amazing things. No such luck for Rolf, though.

Blaz watches as Rolf is brutally crushed under the weight of the beast. "Why'd you do that?"

He carefully takes aim, and fires at the beast, feeling the weapon becoming noticeably lighter as it empties its ammo into the monstrosity.

Rolf, on the other hand, tries to attack as best he can, pinned under the beast.

    Spoiler: OOC
    Show
    Blaz:
BA to Aim - advantage on all ranged attacks for 1 turn. Popping my Action Surge for a second Attack action, coming to 30 attacks, with advantage. 29 damage each, 49 on a crit.
    (Dice in next spoiler).

    Rolf:
Attacks with maul, if able. (1d20+15)[24] for (2d6+13)[19] damage. On hit, DC 20 Str save ((1d20)[14]) or fall prone.

In any case, the beast takes (4d6)[13] lightning damage, or half on a DC 21 Dex save ((1d20)[2])

For the purposes of legendary actions, Blaz is acting first.

EDIT: Every single one rolled above 25. Also, 1, 15, 21, 27, and 29 are crits, and deal 49 damage rather than 29 damage.

If every attack hits, that totals to 970 damage. Too bad I didn't have a second bonus action to WAAGH! - would have come to an even 1000.

The beast falls to the ground, a smoking hole in its head. It struggles weakly, but you can see the rays of sunlight beginning to peak through the dispersing clouds.
