Elytra gets into the cart, and with your help, is soon buried under a small pile of goods. She has a little space to peak out, but is pretty well concealed. You head towards the city, where a bleary-eyed guard asks you a few token questions about why you're going to the city, but he clearly doesn't care much. Inside the city, it's quiet. Most people are asleep, being the middle of the night. There are a few signs showing the way to the circus, though, which you're able to follow without difficulty.

Eventually, you see the large tents of the circus, set up in some open parks near the center of the city. There are various guards walking about, with torches lit for ease of viewing.

Lexara whispers to the rest what now? why bust or something?

Elytra whispers out, saying The prisoners are kept near the middle, just off center, in a plain white tent.

How do we get past the guards though. Cecilia comments pointing at them.

"Lexara, you're small and quiet. Could you find the plain white tent?"

"sure you find place to leave the cart, perhaps a tavern. Also as per guard I can try sneeking pass them but that dose us no good. Tho I can try distract them, ulness me being a pixie looks too suspicious" Lexara says thinking of ways to deal with the guards "also you two can move twice as fast then little old me"

I don't have any method of disguising us as guards though.

The church of Nina trains us in arts of seduction. Granted they are intended to be used on princesses, but they work just as well against men. She adds.

Do you wish to take this Freyja, or should I? Cecilia comments.

Lexara was surprised by Cecilia saying she intended on deducting a woman. I was thinking we could set up an ambush. I will take them to ally way. Saying that my friend,
or big sister is getting mugged or was kidnapped and taken inside that building. Then you come with your surprise attack

Freja looks lost.
"so we're taking them for drinks? I mean it could work. Worth a try?"

Cecilia closes her eyes as she focuses for a moment.

No... No.. I suppose I shall be doing this. She remarks, as she starts undoing a few buttons on her armor.

We need to do the second, to get into a position to do the first. Cecilia commented.

"if you think it'll work, sure... but you're not getting a tattoo for this."

"I like the idea where we just send Lex off to find the tent, then wait for the guards to be off eating or something, then just go straight to that tent, free the people, and leave a fire to cover our tracks."

that would work, but wouldn't they have overlapping shifts so place is guaranteed

"it's a circus, not a fortress. They want to keep out urchins and grifters, maybe other circus people from taking their animals. This isn't a fortress. It's a tent."

I'll lead the guards away. As you say it's a tent not a fortress. Cecilia remarks.

Freja shrugs, going to stand behind the cart. "Sure. You distract and then we go." she pops a seat on the cart, somewhere she can see the light from guard torches as they move through the compound.

"let's get to it" Lexara hides with Freja. She also keeps up the watch looking from below the cart.

[Illven]

Cecilia continues unbuttoning a few buttons on her armor and shirt.

Before going over to the guards, and "accidentally" spilling some copper pieces.

Pulling some crocodile tears, she looks down trying to pick them up. Can't anything go right, today?

The nearest guard looks around, checking to make sure no one else he's working with is paying him any attention, then comes over to help Cecilia. "It's okay, ma'am, I'll help. What's the matter?" he says, his eyes flicking down to her chest occasionally, and clearly NOT looking at anything he's supposed to be guarding.

Imma say he's not paying much attention, so it'll be about DC 7 to sneak past him. Cecilia can attempt a cover-up should you fail the check, though it'd probably require a check from her to do so.
