Dragons are such a classic monster. It is like the go-to enemy for a stereotypical campaign. Now I kind of want to make a campaign based all around fighting a tyrannical dragon. Oh wait. ToD I wonder what the new Tiamat would look like?

Requilac? Think that stating the new Tiamat would be possible.

I apologize everybody, I am too caught up in real life matters right now that I can’t really devote much time to home brewing things. I wouldn’t have let it die if I had the free time to make things, so please give me at least a week. @ Brazenburn, feel free to take the mantle on this one. If you make Damon’s candy dragon over Homebrewery and give me the codes for it then I could add it to the document, or if you did it elsewhere I can just transcribe it.

Doesn’t Tiamat already have a statblock present in Rise of Tiamat or one of the related books? I can’t find a copy online, but I could have sworn that I heard people talking about it.

No worries, life can be problematic sometimes. I shall indeed make the candy dragon at some point, and perhaps also a few of the original crossbreeds as well.

I think he means a new version of Tiamat that incorporates heads from all the new dragons we've made.

I am not up to tackling that monstrosity yet.

Excellent job with the Candy Dragon there Brazenburn. If you send me the BB Code for it I can add it into the Homebrewery document with all the other dragons. I will see if I have the time to make more dragon hybrids in the nearby future, but I can't guarantee much of anything at this point really.

No problem, life gets in the way. I will try to do a few more dragons at some point; it's pretty easy working off of your templates. I'll try to send the code tomorrow morning.

And also because this thread is just so awesome that it shall never die. Remember this thread is an ancient rainbow dracolitch and they are hard to kill.

I found a problem with making a new Tiamat with all the new heads. Blood circulation. Not enough blood goes to all the heads for it to function. Unless it has multiple hearts. OH! I wonder if Tiamat has 5 hearts. One for each head.

Hmmm, but with so many new heads, the number of hearts will be immense, and the circulatory system will have to be inflated as well, meaning that Advanced Tiamat 2nd Edition will have more than enough blood to go around...

Sure, I could make the blood spitting dragon eventually if I have enough days. And while we are on the topic of reptiles that can launch blood from their face: http://www.bbc.com/earth/story/20151...-from-its-eyes

I found this thread looking for dragon crossbreeds. I signed up just to comment on yellow dragons. Yellow dragons come from the second edition Draconomicon if I remember correctly. They were one of the new types of dragon then along with mercury, and steel. Their breath weapon was a "a high-velocity blast of scorching air mixed with sand." basically a supercharged sandblaster. Any one who is interested can check out the 2nd ed version here:dedpihto.narod.ru/games/Monsters1/MM00076.htm .Which as far as I know is the only official instance of the yellow dragon existing.

What's better though. A dragon that spits sand at high speeds or one that can dispense lemonade. I know which I prefer. Sounds cool though. I love the Dragonomicon's because they offer a bit more variaty. Much like this thread. We should ask WotC to make a new dragonomicon using our stats.

As for metallics, I would have initially proposed the product to be an "Alloy Dragon", [and been unjustifiably proud of myself for the joke], but brass and bronze are both already metallic alloys.

So, maybe composite dragons? A Carbon-Fiber dragon sounds pretty amusing. Or a Concrete dragon, with horns of twisted rebar.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

Here's the thing I really want to try and do... make the Candy Dragon a terrifying force of destruction.

    Possible ideas:
    - Has recruited a vast army of (creepy) children by bribing them with candy.
    - Forces captured enemies to consume huge quantities of candy, so they are unable to escape its prisons.
    - High levels of tooth decay in regions controlled by it.
    - Breathes a hailstorm of chipped candy cane, that disintegrates its opponents in moments.

Ah but think about crossing a 2nd ed yellow dragon with a red dragon. You would get an orange dragon that breathes out streams of molten glass at its enemies. An orange dragons lair could be full of its previous victims encased in glass.
