The priest comes back to the room and gives her a thorough lecture with a bit of hands on discipline before sending her home to think about what she's done.

Verimia is whistling to herself when they come out. "You can see why I love those religious types. They're so...forceful."

[Diachronos]

"Yes, they are." She winces, still a bit sore from his 'lecture'. "At least I have a lead on this job now."

Rose heads to investigate the inn, wanting to get an idea of what to expect.

The inn looks rather shady, with an orc woman cleaning glasses by the bar. "Whatcha thirsty for, sugar?" she asks gently, as Rose approaches.

[Diachronos]

"Something light." She looks around. "I didn't know there were places like this in the city..."

[NeoSeraphi]

The orc chuckles. "Here you go." She puts a bottle of water in front of Rose.

"Yeah. This is a place where guys come to have quiet chats where no one will see them."

[Diachronos]

"Ah... so a place to keep secrets, then."

[NeoSeraphi]

"Something like that. What brings you here?"

[Diachronos]

"Oh, I was passing by and got curious, that's all."

[NeoSeraphi]

She nods and goes back to work.

With a day and a half left until she can progress, Rose can kill some time having fun, exploring the city, or going to speak with her family.

[Diachronos]

Rose heads to the markets, planning on scouting out what places would be good for acquiring resources for her jobs with the Red Mantis.

Gilbert stops her as she walks. "Alright, you. You haven't come to see me in the last few days or so. What's been going on?"

[Diachronos]

"I'm sorry, Gillbert, I've just been busy with a few things. I wasn't avoiding you or anything like that."

[NeoSeraphi]

The alchemist sighs. "Have you been keeping up with your poison production? Do you have a steady supply, or do you need some more?"

[Diachronos]

"I've been lagging behind a little bit..."

[NeoSeraphi]

The man rolls his eyes. "What am I going to do with you...okay. If you need any poisons, I'll sell them to you today for half price. Today only."

Rose heads into his shop and buys a few poison supplies.

Gilbert sighs and hands the merchandise over. "Take care of yourself. Ren talks about you often when he's in here. He's worried that you're not going to get a job this year, too."

"Ren worries too much about me and not enough about himself."

[NeoSeraphi]

"Well, then. I suggest you and your pretty friend take some time to yourselves."

Verimia smiles. "Yes! She's barely said a word to me in two days!"

[Diachronos]

As they leave, Rose turns to Verimia. "Sorry. I've had a lot on my mind lately, I didn't mean to come across like I was ignoring you."

[NeoSeraphi]

Verimia sighs. "Yeah, well, I've had to put up with you flirting with guild masters, catgirls, and half-elves this whole time! So, I hope, for the person you rescued, you have something extra special planned!"

[Diachronos]

Rose chuckles. "You're cute when you get flustered. Don't worry, we're going to have a fun time tonight."

Verimia pouts. "Okay...So, where are we going now?"

[Diachronos]

"Where do you want to go first? Dinner, or the theater?"

[NeoSeraphi]

Verimia considers that. "Um...well, I don't have any nice clothes to surprise you with..."

[Diachronos]

"Let's fix that, then." She takes Verimia to a clothing store. "Pick out something you like."

[NeoSeraphi]

Verimia looks around for a minute. She giggles and points to the curvy elf behind the desk. "I suppose I can't pick her out, can I?" she asks teasingly, before grabbing a nice blue dress and trying it on.

She comes out and twirls around once. "Rose! What do you think?"

The dress makes her look...younger. Almost like a teenager. Happy, childish. She looks like she's not got a care in the world.

"It makes you look cute, and... younger, I guess would be the right word."

[NeoSeraphi]

Verimia grins. "Cute is good! Okay, buy it for me and let's go to dinner!"

Rose pays for the dress and heads with Verimia to find a nice restaurant to eat at.
