Are they still bunched up enough for autofire to catch multiple enemies?

How did Shyar single-handedly account for a third of the enemy casaulties? She's not that good of a shot. Geez, step it up people.

Yes, there are still plenty of bunches, though everyone is either prone or has partial cover now (meaning they will be harder to hit, at least until you blast away the trees etc.)

Oddly enough, hitting the deck is absolutely no use against autofire and other area attacks.

Holy cow, those are some good arms. I'm assuming/hoping the first group is all dead now, or at least reduced enough they can't produce such a thick cloud in one turn. That means the second group managed a throw of around 200 feet, when max throw range is about 60.

*sigh* Sorry all, it's been a long, long week. I've been struggling to get through the games I run, let alone the ones I play in...

Quick question, TC, since I can't see the rolls: Has Wyn been on Autofire or trying to snipe people?

This is the part where I get sad we're playing Saga and not, say Twilight 2000 or another game system where suppressive fire is a thing.

Query: What if, instead of being directly overhead, Gial makes his recon passes off to the side of the battle? Would he be able to get LoS without having to drop into weapons range?

Nah, the haze is everywhere, thatís whatís making it tough to see distances. It burns your eyes and lungs too but not enough to matter mechanically.

Did the artillery shells leave a trail through the smoke clouds that Gial can follow to locate their shooting location?

For that matter, unless the artillery is really close to the front lines, it's probably outside the bounds of the smoke cover, and protected from Gial's snooping only by your willingness to risk the speeder...

Gial didnít see any artillery pieces. From what he can tell, the explosives were launched from the woods and road farther away from the line. Itís possible the explosives were infantry carried mortars or grenade launchers and not heavy artillery.

I don't want to have to deal with facing, so point blank range.

Anyone inside will have +5 defense because cover, unless you're just going to lob a grenade or a rocket inside, in which case you only have to hit the hole in the tank (Ref 18).

The hole is about 2-3í in diameter. You canít tell how many crew from this distance, approximately 200+í. The tank is approaching your first line of defense (which is abandoned), and thereís another 120í (mined) between you and the first line.

Hold it, when did the other tanks show up? I thought it was just the one damaged tank visible.

And what happened to the surprise round? We're way too ridiculously outgunned to exchange fire. And what happened to initiative?
