I'm a little unclear on the exact definition of "Wondrous Item" in 3.5E. Is it just a fancy term for magic item? If so, I think the Greenhilt Sword (reforged with meteorite ore) qualifies.

Who has possibly been taking "encouragement" tips from Elan?

Edit: As per Grey Wolf, weapons do not count as "Wondrous Items".

No, it's a magic item that doesn't fall in any other category ("This is a catch-all category for anything that doesn’t fall into the other groups."). Durkon's amulet of natural armour, for example, seems to be one. Roy's sword would fall under magical weapons.

Is it the Ioun Bracelet, that gives a +1 untyped bonus to caster level?

Durkon really needs to watch his cursing. It's more effective than he thinks, and now Thor needs to go soak his feet.

Hint: the reference is to a spoken line, not to an image, but the reference itself is an image in a panel with no dialogue.

There's a "Bad Year blimp" hovering over Tarquin's arena in Strip 775. Lone Starr calls Spaceball One by this name.

I always thought it was a reference to "goodyear" commercial blimps rather than a reference to a movie we're not even sure Rich saw...

Spaceballs? Of course only The Giant can say if he saw it or not, but I believe betting he saw it would be a pretty easy bet...

That said, the "Badyear blimp" joke in spaceballs is, by itself, a joke about the the Goodyear blimps, but I've got your point: maybe Rich wasn't thinking "Spaceball!" when he did the joke.

He's familiar enough with it to have made a reference to it at least once.

That said, I would not have called the Badyear Blimp a reference to Spaceballs rather than a parallel joke, myself.
