    Default Theurgy Wizard Question

Is Spell Mastery usable on spells you take from Cleric Class Spell list?

The skill Spell Mastery says Wizard spells in your Spell-Book, but the Cleric Spells are considered Wizard Spells, and you put them in your Spell-book.

Any cleric spell you gain from this feature is considered a wizard spell for you, but other wizards can’t copy cleric spells from your spellbook into their own spellbooks.
From the UA Wizard Revisted, School of Theurgy. The skill is called Arcane Initiate.

Based on the words of "An cleric spell you gain from this feature is considered a wizard spell for you" I would say yes, they are. The theurge UA considers them wizard spells once claimed, so they are indeed candidates for spell mastery.

Additional question ( sorry thread jacking slightly)

How does the theurge fair with the new domains we have now.

    Death, Grave and Forge?

Well, from what I’ve looked at, Life and Grave seem pretty appealing choices. Grave could be pretty good, as they can make sure their Tanks don’t die, make sure their enemies die faster, and help promote fast killing of enemies en masse.

Death would also be pretty good. Able to cast Toll The Dead on two different enemies in one turn? Yes please. Being able to cast Raise Dead Two Times in one turn? Yes please.

Forge doesn’t fare so well, as you don’t gain the Heavy Armor, which is a key component to the entire build. Unless your DM allows the bonus proficiencies, I’d stay away from this.

However, I still might go with Life Domain for my Theurgy Wizard. At level 18... Well, let’s just say healing will be the least of my party’s problems from that point forward.

Death Domain Cleric 1/ Knowledge Domain Theurge Wizard X
A setup for a priest of Wee Jas that feels more appropriate than Grave Domain.

Was and is my favorite character. Knowledge Domain meant he knew everything and could know everything.
    Also, enabled Fabricate spam.
