Roy's boots
Is ever addressed or explained why one of Roy's boots is smaller then the other?

Re: Roy's boots
Its a visual trick to create perspective in an otherwise 2d image. The smaller boot is on the side further from the reader. Its less necessary with more detail to the art now, but early on in the comic's run, it helped indicate that, for example, Roy was looking over his shoulder. It occasionally gets lampshaded because that's the kind of comic this is.
“Evil is evil. Lesser, greater, middling, it's all the same. Proportions are negotiated, boundaries blurred. I'm not a pious hermit, I haven't done only good in my life. But if I'm to choose between one evil and another, then I prefer not to choose at all.”
