I'm not thinking subtle right now. I'll have Bear go ahead and attack him straight out, he gets a free grapple with a bite in his current form. Others pile on to pin, and have two devoting effort to removing the weapon. Sound good?

Well this could escalate quickly. Rolling for the Rohkan in case we are going forward with combat

    (1d10)[1](1) +6

EDIT: Well it looks like we can assume you will all act before the Rokhan can attack.

Just as a heads up for everyone, I have family in town this week, so my post rate may be a little lower than usual. But I will still be able to post will in the AM EST.

As i said, it will likely be that everyone acts before the Rokhan. Have you all decided that you are mobbing him now?

I'm all for mobbing him. Aside from that not sure exactly how the mechanics work except every attack reduces his defense by 1.

I suppose since he has a silver weapon we should let things play out in case someone takes some aggrevated damage, but given how low his Initiative roll was, it's likely the Urathat overtake the Beshilu before it gets to act. I will wait for the rest of the players to roll initiative and start the combat (assuming that's the direction we are headed), but it's been pretty slow lately, and will otherwise just go for "down and out combat" if people aren't responding.

Michael is absolutely keen on going into a full on rumble with this thing, but he is keenly aware of the spear and so thatís his target. He is planning to stay in near wolf because his entire goal is to basically try to pull a Fenris-wolf and bit off that thingís hand, which I think is consistent with weakening the prey.

If he can, he will actually grab the spear and run it as far as he can in a turn, drop it, then run back to continue the attack.

Iím going to do everything here since I donít want to narrate anything the dice donít support!

Just going to quickly explain how I am resolving Bear's roll:

-First, last I checked, Bear is in Urshul or Dire Wolf form, which is good because you can start a grapplin in Urshul with a bite, but not in Dalu. This gives him 2+ strength, which is also better than Dalu's +1. So Bear's roll is Str 5+ Brawl 4 - Def 5=5d10.
-Therefore no need for the grapple roll, which is good because Bear would have probably failed it.
-Killer instinct activates 8 again. Bear gets 3 successes. Bite attacks in Dalu are +2 Lethal, so bear deals 5 Lethal damage.
-Bear has access to the Weaken the Prey attribute, which states that in Urshul, once per scene he can apply Arm Wrack, Leg Wrack or Knock down (actually without a successful attack roll). Please let me know if you want to take advantage of this.

    Rolling for Kara
    (2d10)[8][7](15) and 10 again (2d10)[5][2](7)

    Rolling for Reveler
    (8d10)[4][7][9][2][4][10][5][6](47)

But you could see how Blaze could draw that conclusion, owing to the giant plague spirit poisoning the tree in the hisil. Unless you're saying that Blaze knows this is incorrect.

Oh sure, and there were definitely plague spirits involved. Blaze may know that Plague spirits are intrinsically tied to the Beshilu; as Beshilu are shards of The Plague King spirit planted into the bodies of rats.

I just wanted to clarify, my apologies.

Also Also, and this is a big one; I have just recently been in communication with the long missing Erulasto, who is fortunately alive and after what sounds like a number of serious real life issues is doing well. I have personally invited him to rejoin the games he has participated in, but I think he feels pretty ****ty about being MIA for as long as he has.

He may be PMing you all to judge how he would be received if he did return. I have no intention of telling anyone how to react, or what to say to him and people are absolutely allowed to express how they feel. However, I personally believe that after being as consistent and supportive of a player as he was before going dark, that he deserves a second chance.

People are welcome to discuss here, though I am not trying to invite that here, as I believe Erulasto may be reaching out to players individually!

Hello friends! Long time no see.

I'd like to start by apologizing for dropping off the face of the planet. I wish I could claim otherwise, but things spiraled out of control in life so fast and hard that getting online was nowhere on my radar. I won't get into all the nitty-gritty details of what was going on, but there was extended periods of hospitalization followed by a court battle to get custody of my kids back from my ex.

Long story short, I am in a much better place now; both physically and mentally.

I'm glad Benno reached out to me again, as I've been feeling supremely guilty for abandoning everyone. It's not logical, but matters such as this rarely are.

So, I'm going to read through the threads and find out what I've missed and go from there.

In the words of the infamous Bender:

    "I'm back, baby!"

EDIT: I just finished reading through the IC thread for NBbN. Damn. I'm so sad I missed some of that. But Benno did a good job with Kara in the interim.

Thank you Erulasto, and again very glad to have you back!!! Full disclosure though, Kara's experience was pooled into merits towards the pack's totem. Please let me know if you have any questions about what's going on.

EDIT: At all, I am a little unclear on what you all are gonna do now? Are you attacking in both directions, or charging forward, or fleeing, or something else.

I'm hoping to make my first post tomorrow evening. I sent you a PM Benno asking a few questions about the games you're running to make sure I'm understanding the current situations properly.
