Edun Namoq originally came down from the mountains of Ilik to look for his mother, the near legendary Inoka Namoq, the wandering adventuress. After his mother was declared dead more than a few years ago, Edun took it upon himself to find out what really happened to his mother all those years ago. After finding his mother's journals and unsent letters, Edun has discovered that his mother was on the trail of the fabled pirate lord, Gabriel Palmar, the dreaded "sea lich" who terrorized the Elryth Ocean.

After Captain Palmar's fateful escape from the authorities of Izgen, Edun has found it in himself to join the privateers and deputies who has taken it upon themselves to hunt down the undead pirate lord.

Keldra Dhanog has been to many wars. In her early years she fought for a noble of the Accord, defending his castle from bandits and Affiliation rebels. Later, she joined the Affiliation after learning just how decadent and monstrous the Accord really was. Then, after being forced to participate in campaign after bloody campaign of horrendous genocide, Keldra became thoroughly haunted and disgusted with herself. She decided to stay away from war altogether and decided to hire herself out as a bodyguard.

She is now dedicated to the recapture of Captain Palmar, seeing it as second chance at redemption.

By night, she rejoices in the blood of her defeated adversaries, beating them to a bloody pulp.
