Can I tag other members in my post?

I want to make a "thank you" thread and tag few posters in it. Is it viable on this forum? Even if they have not participated in a thread yet?

What do you expect this "Tag" to do? Something like send them a message letting them know they've been mentioned?

Depending on what result you expect, the answer will change. If all you want is to list users, go ahead. If you expect the thread to then perform an action towards those listed, you can't. I recommend that you PM anyone that you wish to make sure they know you appreciated their help, instead.
