Dumb computer question

Okay, how do I reset my browser's default email so that it doesn't shoot me to outlook express when I click on an email address or 'email us!' button. I'd like to set it as my email of choice but for whatever reason I can't seem to do it. I'm using Vista now so that might be why I can't seem to sort it out. Thanks.

in controll panel (or maybe a sub-thing of controll panel but definetly reachable from there) set program access and defaults... been a long time though so im not sure might be thinking of something else.

Depending on which OS you're using he's correct so far.

Click start.
Go to "Set Program Access and Defaults".
Click on Custom.
Under "Choose Default E-Mail Program", click "Use my current e-mail program".
Click on OK at the bottom.

You should be done.
