So Dimers, your danger sense tells you if you try to stick your hand in the water, you will die.

    Are you sure?

Yeah, let's go with non-character-death, here. Thank you for the alert.

Sorry I've been away without warning, folks. Back to normal life now.

This seems like the perfect time for a sense motive check!

Archmage, it seems like Alice isn't emotionally suited to 'classic' D&D adventuring like exploring ancient ruins for loot, particularly not after her friend died. Are your IC responses an attempt to get more motivation in a way that lets the character match that gamestyle, or are you simply enjoying playing the character? If it's the latter, I'm not gonna tell you not to have fun, but it'll be hard to get the game to continue.

A bit of both. She's ok with classical adventuring, but it needs to be for a reason. And with the loot all going to the wizard, we don't have a reason. At all. That's what I've been trying to get at.

Lol. If you think Dayme intends to ACTUALLY turn over all the loot to some wizard just because hes currently in charge,, then you ignored the Chaotic in his alignment.

My IC post refers to the paladin mount I got for having a spell that only applies to paladin mounts. I really wish I'd remembered to summon him once we got outside town in the previous venture. An extra 6-HD beatstick could've come in handy.

What, about Kelpie not coming into town before? No, that's the truth. Beb mentioned his caution back in IC post 10.

As in, is Beb seriously considering it, or is he trying for an advance on something he doesn't intend to complete.

Ah, gotcha. Truth. High Charisma notwithstanding, Beb is a follower and prefers to be shown a way rather than choose his own. The wizard is the authority figure here, so he's the default person Beb looks to for direction.

Well, it's not specifically defined for now, but he did counteroffer to claim some of the rewards instead of all --

I think it'll be hard to get specific without knowing what we'll find. Yeah, the risk-to-reward ratio still definitely favors the wizard (assuming we follow the agreement), but it's not nothing.
