Ultimate Dragon Ball in the Playground OOC

This is a Game that Spun off from Dragon Ball in the Playground but, other than overlap in Players, is almost completely separate from it at least for he time being.

As the main game eventually branched off into "Universe 13," this game takes place in yet another aberrant timeline that will eventually branch off to form universe 0 to balance it. For the time being, this is where the similarities begin and end... Other than a couple of helpless Time Travelers.

The general setting of the story is an alternate take of the Dragon World of the Age 749, the start of OG Dragon Ball. The world is familiar, but most of the people in it are not: Yes, Kami and Korrin and mabe even MAster Roshi exist, but the world's advanced tehcnology isn't invented by the Brief's family and Son Goku is nowhere to be found. Off in outerspace Lord Frieza has been replaced with another member of his race who handles Conquest and Inperialism differant, The Saiyan's arne't led by the Vegeta family, and many familiar characters have never been born.

This story begins in a small village out in the desert, where our heroes meet...

Pitosu could be confused for a skinny teenaged girl if you ignored her blood red eyes and long, pointy eyes. Pitosu's hair is a dark red(not orange, actual red) pixie cut/ponytail hybrid while her skin is flawless, smooth, and the tan of desert-dwelling people. Pitosu is best described as pretty or cute, almost inhumanly so. She never seems to sweat or get dirt or dust upon her.

In terms of clothing, Pitosu dresses in a way that one less informed could easily confuse her for a genie, with puffy pajama pants and a top that exposes her belly. Ashley here in the third panel
is a good example of both the body type and the outfit I was imagining, except the pants are a solid color so it doesn't look like she's wearing underwear over her pants.

Pitosu doesn't wear shoes or sandals of any kind.

Pitosu was kicked out of The Demon Realm and Hell in general for being too nice, empathetic, and cheerful. Pitosu loves the concept of love and friendship and is always willing to share affection with friends and goes into fits of giggles and squeals when around something she thinks is cute. Like baby eldritch abominations.

She is also rather jaded to death and suffering of people she's not immediately near, totally willing to kill people she considers enemies in cold blood and doesn't comprehend that most mortals consider the consumption of souls something abominable. She's not evil, far from it, nor is she a sociopath, but even a good person born and raised in Hell is going to have morals that differ from the human standard.

Pitosu had always been differant from other demons, never wanting to hurt people or engage in pointless evil and not particularly caring about unsealing the Demon Realm so that they can escape en masse.

Eventually, her personality and behavior rubbed the wrong demons the wrong way and she was brought before the King of The Demon Realm who banished her to Earth, a backwater planet in the mortal world, with only the clothes on her back. His logic was that either she'd die there or that doing whatever she had to do to survive would either toughen her up or traumatize her into falling into line.

Pitosu decided "screw that" and is now traveling the earth trading magic for bits of energy that he keeps in an ornate jar she crafted. Once she's gathered up enough Killi worth of energy, she's going to drink it all down and become a Demon God. Then they'll have to let her go home because she'd be a God and thus outrank the King of the Demon World and be able to overturn her own banishment because that makes perfect sense and is totally logical.

Power Level: Roughly equal to OG era Master Roshi.

Demon: Pitosu is a being from the demon realm and has all of the properties of a member of one of the demon realm races.

Ki use: Pitosu knows a variety of basic energy blasts and other common uses of Ki. She can sense the energy of others.

Demonic sorcery: Pitosu has inherent magical powers as a result of her demonic nature and that of her ancestors. In addition to fortune telling, scrying, limited mater materialization(clothes and see below) minor hexes, and magic tricks, Pitosu has two primary magical styles:

Elemental Manipulation: The comparisons to Genies that one might make upon seeing her are apt: Pitosu is primarily a demonic being of heat and earth and wind, highly adapted to the desert. In addition to an inherent resistance to all but the hottest of fires and harshest winds with the soils of the earth rolling from her as water from a duck's back, Pitosu can use her magic to conjure and manipulate flame and searing light, harsh dry winds, and summon forth hot sand and glass with which to defend herself and attack her enemies. On the other hand, Pitosu is particularly vulnerable to cold and to magical effects derived from or conducted through water.

Energy Theft: Pitosu has several bits of magic that allows her to take energy and even souls from people. Sometimes voluntarily, sometimes less so. Methods range from snatching away measly percentages with a touch to contracts for a portion of one's energy on completion to long-winded rituals that take every last drop of power out of a bound target. Pitosu stores this stolen, bartered, and donated energy in a magical jar that she created. Pitosu can smell differant kinds of energy and evaluate energy quality by smell, but only if she's in close proximity.

Soul Consumption: Pitosu possesses the ability to consume souls. This ability doesn't grant her any power directly in most cases, but the souls are not destroyed but rather, in a process similar to namekian fusion, become permanently part of her. slowly over time, the knowledge of the people consumed bleeds into her in the form of relevant skills as the personality of the soul is merged into her subconscious over the course of several hours, days, or even weeks. Particularly high-quality souls, those of particularly powerful individuals, or large quantities of souls, might increase her power level or grant unique inherent abillities(such as gaining demonic versions of the Super Saiyan Forms from consuming high-quality Saiyan souls) once they finish merging into her. Pitosu would never murder most people someone for their souls, unless they were her enemies, or trick them into giving her their souls, but due to her upbringing, she has no comprehension that anyone would find the act of soul-eating itself to be something objectionable. Souls don't' have a flavor per se but differant quality souls provide differant sensations which can be influenced by how the soul is required. A pure evil soul painfully ripped out by force is particularly yummy.

Pitosu can't swim.

Pitosu carries an ornate magic jar roughly the size of a small pumpkin. It resembles a teapot without a spout and is made of what seems to be ordinary ceramic. The lid is latched. The Jar serves as a vessel for the energy that Pitosu has collected as well as a focus for some of her energy theft spells.

Bokusu: Phase one of the Ultimate Android Project

Boxy has two forms.

In one, he looks like a normal human child, if a little short, with short lavender hair and eyes, caucasian skin, and dressed in a blue t-shirt and baggy black knee length shorts with sneakers. The shirt has a Red Ribbon containing the letters NR in one half and RA in the other on the right breast, parallel to the pocket on the left breast.

In his true form, his lavender hair becomes longer, messier and spikey. His clothes are replaced with white Majin pants and black slipper-boots, no shirt, while his skin becomes turquoise and his sclera turns black. His teeth sharpen into cute little fangs and his nails turn jet black. Finally, he sprouts a long tail similar to but not quite the same as an arcosian's tail, being thinner at the base. His ears become long and pointy in this form.

Nothing can bring Boxy's mood down. Not even horrific experimentation, being orphaned or waking up in a radically differant timeline in what may not even be the universe he's originally from. The way he sees it, the people that loved him would have wanted him to stay happy, so he always looks on the bright side of life... Even when it's really, really freaking dark on the side of life he's in right now. That doesn't mean he doesn't feel sad when he suffers a loss, but he presses on.

Boxy loves everything and can find something cool or beautiful in anything.

Boxy has a strange but sound logic.

He is completely oblivious to the fact that he's practically indestructible and potentially one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse. He honestly wouldn't care, because he's happy just being Bokusu.

There are many timelines where a successor group to the Red Ribbon Army comes into existence and try to recreate the technology of Doctor Gero and many where some mad doctor attempts to do it on their own.

Bokusu is from a timeline where one such successor, the Neo-Red Ribbon Army, succeeded with flying colors and recreated and perfected Doctor Gero's Ultimate Creation: Android 21.

After decades of research constructing robots, converting helpless and hapless orphans and homeless into cyborgs, and vat growing clones and Bio-androids, Phase one of the ultimate project finally went underway when an orphan boy, human with traces of Saiyan descent, was taken to a group home that the NRRA was secretly running(for the sake of indoctrinating soldiers for the next generation.) Genetic and physiological testing done in secret marked the child as perfect for their plans, and he was sedated and taken to a secret laboratory in a hidden location where he was modified with the cells, Ki, and recorded data of countless warriors, researchers, spiritualists, mystics, psychics, and scientists of every race: Saiyan, human, beastfolk, namekian, arcosian, monsters, Majin, demons and shin-jin, equestrian species, and many other extraterrestrial races beside and even a few other bio-androids that had been created previously.

Once phase one of the project had been completed, phase two was to commence: Taking Bokusu's DNA and cloning him dozens of times over. A generation of truly perfect life-forms to be raised, trained and indoctrinated from birth as loyal super-soldiers who would then be used to conquer the universe.

then something, some unknown force, shifted the fabric of reality and Bokusu's stasis pod fell through a portal in time just before his cells could be extracted for cloning and he's been buried alive but in a blissful coma somewhere in a past timeline ever since.

Power Level: As far as anyone can tell, 10 at the highest, but it's obvious that there's a great deal of untapped potential that the boy has no current desire to realize.

Bio-Android 2.0 physiology: As a hybrid of the cells, energy, and data of hundreds of thousands of the greatest warriors, magic users, and geniuses of almost every race, Boxy is borderline immortal and between the combined durability, resilience, and healing factors of his various components he's nigh-indestructible. In his true form, he possesses the stretchiness of a Majin.

Master Martial Artist and Spiritualist: Bokusu has instinctual and reflexive access to the knowledge and techniques of countless warriors and ki users. Good luck getting him to use most of it, as he dislikes fighting.

Master of Magic: Likewise, Boxy has the powers of a number of witches, wizards, mystics, psychics, sorcerers, demons, and shin-jin, possibly including even Kais. He mostly uses it for making candy.

Genius intellect: You know the drill, yadda yadda cells and knowledge of countless researchers and intellectuals.

Absolute Stamina: Between his many Majin cells, those of perfect bio-androids, and research into other android types being repurposed for his own conversion, Bokusu is not physically capable of getting exhausted or running out of energy. Never promise to play with him till he gets tired. He never will.

Energy and cell absorption: Boxy is physically capable of absorbing traces of cells from others on contact in order to learn their techniques as well draining ki from prolonged contact. Now ask him if he's going to.

Absorption: Bokus can use a variation on the Candy Beam to turn people into food. Eating this food would kill that person and give him their power, techniques, and potential for growth but... But killing people is wrong and eating them is disgusting. (Unlike the original 21, great care was taken to ensure that this was an option, not a compulsion)

In addition to his ability as a combatant being hampered by his total lack of interest in fighting and unlocking his potential, Bokusu has an appetite that would make even the most gluttonous of Saiyans and Majin pause. Luckily, this can be placated with sensu beans or large quantities of non-people candies.

Boxy's latent potential can't be unlocked by any method but training. Anyone attempting to bring out even a small portion of his untapped potential will find themselves suddenly feeling as though they're about to demolish the Hoover Dam to get a sip of water just as the ritual fails.

Most donors are identified by race, age at the time of donation, sex, and profession, but a handful of the stranger or more prominent ones, such as cells taken from a preserved lock of Mr. Satan's hair, are identified in detail.

She is a cynic, and thinks of Beerus as an evil villain that she must stop for his planet destroying ways, and wishes to protect people anyone that destroys a planet, including Gods of Destruction. Becoming a vampire has made feel a hunger for blood which she sates by drinking from animals, staying away from sapient beings.

Much like another version of herself, she was kidnapped and met 22. Unlike the other version, she was kidnapped by a Necromancer Gero who turned her and her girlfriend into Vampires 22 and 23. Unlike the other version, he brought back his wife as Vampire 21- but 21 hated how he has been twisted and changed by revenge, and after ten years years of slavery under Necromancer Gero, they worked together and Vampire 23 tore out Necromancer Gero's heart and they found their freedom- only to find the world in terror of Majin Buu.

Like another version of herself, they went forth to confront Buu. Unlike another version of herself, they found Bulma and others dead, picking up her Dragon Ball tracker while the Hercule and a dog had managed to redeem him- but then Beerus suddenly appeared and declared that based upon Buu's actions that he was going to destroy all of Planet Earth. The Vampires attempted to stop him, but no matter how hard they fought, Beerus beat them all easily. Then with his unmatched power he formed a great ball of ki and threw it, to blow up the planet, the two vampires holding each other close in their seeming final moments.

Then, they woke up. They had somehow fell through a time rift and survived. They somehow lost most of their power. They didn't know how, they didn't know whether Vampire 21 had survived, but they were together and thats all that mattered. They are now in the past, and must figure out a new life from there despite being vampires.

They do not need to breathe and can only feed by sucking blood, which they need to live. They are undead, possessing greater resilience and regeneration that can be pierced by holy energy or a wooden stake through the heart. They possess various vampiric abilities they can unlock through training. They cannot use Matter Materialization or Spirit Bomb because of their necromantic ki. The vampires bite is particularly good at piercing at all forms of flesh and one can train the bite to have various side effects.

Finally on converting others to vampires: The bite itself is not enough to turn a victim into a vampire. To turn someone into a vampire the victim must be completely drained of blood then infused with at least 100 PL of necromantic energy, the original vampire giving up an amount of their own power to raise them so, and the new vampire rising with the PL amount put in. This keeps vampire numbers low due to the relative rarity of people with PL's beyond 5.

Their Weaknesses include:

Wishlocked:
Their vampiric state has somehow been locked off from getting cured or dispelled by wishing on the Dragon Balls. This is purely for keeping their character concept from being wished away.

I'm up for joining in as well, not sure with what kind of character though. Probably something new, since I'd rather not just fall into having multiple time clones of the same character showing up in everything. It would also help to differentiate between the two threads in my mind, instead of having Max, Time Patrol Max, and Max-at-age-12-who-was-standing-in-the-Hyperbolic-Time-Chamber-Doorway-When-A-Temporal-Explosion-reverberated-from-the-future-to-wipe-out-his-timeline.

Because while it would amuse me to have a Max show up by holding onto a fancy door frame whose dimensional threshold nature provided enough protection to get blasted away and untethered from it's universe and timeline instead of being obliterated with everything else...it might also be problematic to introduce a character into an early dragonball era with a working knowledge of ki theory, and the abilities to sense ki, fly, and heal others.

That said, it might be funny if there were just millions of time chamber doors appearing throughout the universe and landing in various places. No longer attached to their respective time chambers, but each one an instance of the time chamber being untethered from it's home universe by the timeline being exploded.

Actually, I might be up for running a later on plot. I'm going to expand on this idea a bit and see where it goes.

Vodkana is a scared child who have done and seen things no one should have, and especialy a kid. She has negleting needs and urges- more than anything, she want to be loved, and to make others happy. But negleting it, fear and mistrust, combined with a monstrouse gluttony and instictial need for destruction.
She also telling herself and others alternate versions of what she done, to the point she almost believe herself- for example, she tell everyone her mother threw her into space.

Just like in Universe 13, Beerus came to Meal Planet following a prophecy of his Oracle. The impossible has happened her as well- the God Of Destruction had a child. Nor he cared.
But in this universe two things were diffrent and have changed everything- Spoon never Vodkana. He died alongside his clan in the First Soup War. So beside Dishanna no mortal knew of Vodkana's heritage. Her mother never bothered to tell her- she wanted her to live as normal girl, as long as she can.

Second.. Dishanna was more.... "playful".
Vodkana lived relativly peacfully and secured, calmed by her mother's presence.
When she was five years old, some man was angry at her mother and made her cry.
Vodkana went into devastating tantrum; quarter of Meal's Capitol (Snackabaad) were destroyed, and Dishanna too. It happened so fast, that the great Chefs acted a bit slow.
The Holy Maharaja in his rage threw Vodkana in space.
No matter how strong was the little monster- she couldn't breath. Right?
On the long run, something worse has happened: Baron Gaupel, a diplomatic representive of the Arcosian Empire got injured and lost his tail and arm. He swore vengance on the planet and the whole Nyagato race.
He might already has done it.
Though, he won't rest until the little girl is slain.

Anyway- Vodkana didn't died. As Demigoddess she didn't had issues with breathing in space. The next two years were series of befriending someone kind, just to destroy him/her, accidently in tantrum and causing destruction and havoc.

Tantrum when Vodkana facing an emotional break down, she getting into a tantrum. Usually when seeing her loved ones hurt. (Or starvation)
In this state her power double few times(somsthing on Roshi's scale more or less.)and she berserkering, destroying everything in her way, until she calm down.
This state doesn't grant her any techniques- quite the opposite.
But in this state her destruction blasts turn real- even if horrifngly clmusy.
Also the tantrum usually start with stunning shriek.

Power level might be a bit high with the tantrum ability--Doubling Roshi equivalent power a few times would be higher than Goku was when he fought Raditz--and there'sa timeline descrepency(since we're several hundred relative years after when the regular Vodkana was born) but otherwise looks good.

Yeah, that works...

I'd say make her about half base Roshi's PL(about 53). doubling it two or three times would make her slightly stronger to half again as strong as full power Roshi, which would fit with the "child Gohan" thing that you're going for as it'd make her the strongest during brief periods of time when upset.

Hishiji is frusrated with how life is going, and how his dreams turned into a boring grey hell of office work and screen staring.
He apear to be pessimistic, but in heart he is hungry for adventure and excitment. So he can he put an act quite well, when he put his heart into it.
He is a bit akward at expressing himself honestly.

Hishiji was born to a poor shapeshifter family who survived by tricking and terrozing people to give them food and money.
Hishiji's mother has noticed her son's intelegence, and joined a gang to raise money. With this money, he was sent to the best shapeshifting schools, and driven to please his mom, Hishiji was always the best in class.
Eventually he has finished the Shapeahifting University witb succes, and found job in office as acountant and 'general" worker- if someone needed a pen, Hishiji could be a pen, or anything actually.
He was also a useful computer. He was sort of popular, he had job and an apartment at Central City- everything hos mother wished him to have.
But Hishiji felt empty. Commiting himself to study Judo helped just a little.
And then one evening, a strange girl apeared at the bar he used to visit.
She was an Oni Secretary from the Other World, named Haika.
Hishiji found her, well... other worldly. She explained she just sneaked out of work, to grab a drink without hearing the cry of the damned in Hell.
She said she had only ten minutes but she stayed for twenty.
Hishiji finally had something to look toward to- there weeks she came everyday.
Sometimes few monthes passed between a drink to drink. Hishiji has listened to her, with curiosity, and sometimes told about his little things going in- which surprisngly, sounded just like mortal version of Hell beraucracy.

But Haika stopped coming at some point. Was she caught? Killed? Or worse, found a boyfriend?
Hikiji discovered that strangely he could turn into her- but this didn't gave him the ability to get alive to Hell.
He started to look for her, despratly looking for any rumor.
Hikiji has gotten to the desert, hearing about a portal to Hell, called the "Pit Of Doom".
But Hikiji stayed around, living off as bandit.

Power Level: A normal proficent martial artist.
Shapeshifter- As graduate from the Central Shapeshifting University, Hishiji is a very skilled shapeshifter with ability to hold "outer" shifting, for as long as he wish, unless he is shocked.

True Shift Form it's a rare ability. Hishiji get the abilities, skills, techniques and knowledge of the object he turn himself into. But, it require deep emotional connection to the target.
So far Hishiji has obtained three True Shift forms:

[I]Playstation Console[/B] he deeply love gaming, and can turn into his home console, with all of his games and even inculding his saves. His own body supply the energy required.

Office Computer He has comicated relationship with his office computer- but it surely strong one. Even if sometines abusive from both sides.

Haika The Oni Secretary- Hishiji deeply love her, and can access her true form-though the knowledge and exprience of Haika form isn't updated with the original and now seperated on her own devolpment. So it doesn't directly help Hishiji to find her.
It grant him inhuman power (on OG DB scale), skill with Great Club, imunnity to fire and bureau-mystic knowledge.
Hishiji is akward using this form for many reasons.

Hmmm, I might join this. I could make a toddler werewolf. Basically she would be similar to toddler Gohan, taking OG Goku's place. She could even have accidentally killed her family in a similar way, being a werewolf and all, giving her an excuse to go on the adventure.

I'm not adverse to the werewolf angle or a similarity to OG Goku, but Toddler's a bit young--Personally, I'd rather avoid this turning into "Trio De Teenmonstergirl's Travelling Babysitting service."

In Dragon Ball Super, when the multiverse is being explained, it's mentioned that the UNiverses that add up to 13 are twin universes.

1+12=13
2+11=13
3+10=13
4+9=13
5+8=13
6+7=13

Keeping with the theme, 0+13=13, since this Universe is being split off to balance Universe 13.
