My completely awesome avatar (I call her Quill) has been generously crafted by the esteemed Honest Tiefling!

Gosh, 2D8HP, you are so very correct (and also good-looking) and your humility is stunning.

Re: Happy Independence Day!
Happy belated Independence Day from an American stuck in Canadaland. Well not stuck, but, I miss the fireworks. We're cooking hotdogs on the grill tonight, my little yearly ritual. I hope everyone had a happy fourth!

Re: Happy Independence Day!
Being in Canada should have meant pyrotechnics happening about 3 days earlier. I'm not sure how crowd-sourced Canadian firework displays are. I know Detroit and Windsor share a Canada Day/Independence Day show, which implies that at least some Canadians enjoy watching fireworks.

Re: Happy Independence Day!
Being here in Vancouver I'm sure there was a lovely fireworks display for Canada Day, but I had to miss it due to work. (Not to mention traffic would be terrible) But I was mostly referring to the lack of fireworks in stores. Coming from Florida, I'm used to seeing little firecrackers and sparklers in the grocery store. I just don't know where to get them here, if they're even legal. Destro tells me sparklers (my favorite) are an October thing, usually around Halloween.
