Writing/Publishing an Adventure or Campaign Setting
Hello!
Wondering if anyone out there has any experience writing campaigns or publishing them. I知 looking in to writing up my own world or possibly just adventures but heard that you forego creative license for publishing on the dmsguild, which I suppose makes sense.
Any experience or advice welcomed, i知 Currently running three groups in the same world so figured it might be time to put something out there 😬

Re: Writing/Publishing an Adventure or Campaign Setting
Are you looking to publish professionally, or just casually?
If just casually, your own website, or using forum posts (depending on the size and depth of the content) should work fine.
If professionally, DriveThruRPG and RPGnow and the like are simple, low-entry-cost points to get into publishing in PDFs.
If it's in terms of printing books or selling modules to publishers, you've got a lot of work to do to build up support first.Check out our Sugar Fuelled Gamers roleplaying Actual Play Podcasts.
