Words ending in vowels but pronounced as of theres a trailing r sound is sometimes seen as a small staple of hick or redneck accents. For example, "Cletus, it's cold in here, close the winder!"

It loads fine for me, now, too, oddly enough. Vanilla IE for me. Perhaps try clearing your cache, and it may show up?

At some point you must have upped your posts per page. The forum default is 30, but you can set it to various places between 5 and 60. I considered posting that I saw 13 pages, but felt that such was gauche.

I dont see why 13 pages would be considered gauche. Its not like you're leaving the number off and calling it 14 pages.

Well, I normally leave the forum on default(-ish) settings, so it would not be truthful to claim that I see 13 pages when it is only because I went and messed with my settings. I prefer not to lie, though I am not constrained by any outside force to tell the truth.

Nah, I'm the type of person who likes to dig around in trivia from time to time. And also strongly bent toward the nostalgic (not that I'm particularly proud of my early posting, but seeing the avatars of the people I grew up with (so to speak) does take you back in time).

The last RB I posted in was probably right around when I started one, back in the 60s. I think we had had a rule of "no repeats" at the time.

Makes sense. Rules have a tendency to solidify and quantify over time.

A) Imgur is broken. Please find a different image host.

I know, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Having seen three image hosting services stop doing free hosting in their own unique ways, I want some kind of sustainable solution which won't force me to do any further migrations. Sadly, I don't feel I have the time-energy to research that most of the time...

Until then, I'm going to keep using my Nallesmilies for the benefit of everyone capable of circumventing the Imgur filter.

B) French only add extra letters when it doesn't matter. For truly atrocious letter adding, you need to look at 17th century English names. I have an ancestor who spelled his last name "Greenne".

I still don't see any imgur images. I've heard that people have made firefox/chrome extensions that fix the stupidity of imgur and photobucket, but I haven't seen any that I actually wanted to try installing.

I get that from Privacy Badger from the Electronic Frontier Foundation. It's primary purpose is to stop tracking via ads, and I think scrubbing referer info is part of its toolbox, which is why the Imgur images started showing up again right after I installed it. I'm also a bit leery about what extensions I use, but the EFF are a serious organisation dedicated to maintaining privacy and openness on the Internet, so I'm okay with this one, despite the funky name.

Edit: okay, for true weirdness, Teddy's avatar is hosted on imgur and shows up, but the picture in his post doesn't.

Well I drink my very first Espresso at Barnes and Noble today and it taste just the same as coffee. Although I add 2 small pack of Equal sugar and whole milk. It's taste great.

My rule is that chicken, fish, and ground beef should be cooked completely. Beef, pork, and lamb can be cooked medium rare.

Last summer I completely undercooked some chicken. I didn't get sick, but I asked the locals where to go if I did. I was legitimately worried about it.
