He'd found them corrupt and executed on the spot. He saw two "evil" members of Forgaths clan and decided the entire klan must be purged. Kore would kill DnD Jesus, who so much as brushed against a non-human.

Kore vs rock-hard golem: "No problem, I'll destroy it with my nonmagic axe."

Kore vs soft low-level goblins: "GREATER MAGIC WEAPON!"

And then he still whiffs completely. Guess he tried to power attack for max or just got really unlucky.

Still got a lot of HP it seems, that with having a sword buried in his neck and barely registering it. At least he still bleeds. As veteran D&D players know, if it bleeds, it can be killed.

Also now I realize the goblins could win just by kiting him with rocks, Kore is slower and no longer has his hax crossbows so they could eventually wear the dwarf down from a safe distance.

Keep in mind they arent that low level and they have some decent gear while he has garbage. Also, the last "soft low level" dude he fought left him looking like THIS.
"Interdum feror cupidine partium magnarum Europae vincendarum"
Translation: "Sometimes I get this urge to conquer large parts of Europe."

Greater magic weapon, because the last time he fought an adventurer, it was these guys' ally on the bridge and he was stacked with magic gear designed to kill Kore. The golem is just some stupid dungeon thing, from his perspective the goblins are way more dangerous.

It may depend on Complains being a demon. http://goblinscomic.com/comic/01042011-6 http://goblinscomic.com/comic/03062012

Although I am not sure magic weapon actually helps here. He used holy sword last time.

I think he shrugged off that neck stab, becase his body is no longer dwarven. He is essentially immmune to critical hits I would guess. As for why he missed, there is the size difference to consider and it gives a significant bonus to AC.

    +1 isn't really that significant.

+3, at minimum. Well maybe +2 but Greater Magic Weapon is +1 per 4 Caster Levels and which means level 12 Paly, perhaps 11 if he has enough charisma for bonus spells but I swear he cast a 4th level spell before so that is highly unlikely.

:EDIT: Wait, Paladins are half caster level for some dumb reason. So probably just a +2.

pretty sure they're talking about the size bonus that goblins get, not the bonus greater magic weapon gives.

So Kore trusted the words of the filthy goblins and expected them to be honest and honorable in battle?

There isn't really a schedule, updates come every week or two when Elli is feeling well or can be months apart when having health problems or other personal issues. Lately it's been alright with a few updates each month.

There's been 19 pages this year, that would be one page every twelve to thirteen days. Since there isn't a particular day or schedule, the best bet is using the RSS feed.
