    Default Magic item suggestions.

So, I'll be attending a max level one-shot as a 1fighter/wizard19. The DM told us to pick out 3 Magic items of rare or higher quality. I have currently chosen Staff of the Magi, and belt of giant strength, and I struggle on my third. Any suggestions?

Things of note,Im using heavy armor and a shield while using my staff as my main weapon.

    Robe of the Archmagi?

+3 Plate Armor would be nice. Or, an Ioun Stone like Absorption or Mastery.

I'd still be tempted by the Robe of the Archmagi though. That +2 Spell Save/Spell Attack and Advantage on Magic Saving Throws really does a lot, even if you don't use the AC bonus.

I don't suppose you could have something like +3 Adamantine Plate armor as an option?

I'm guessing you want to be fairly frontline-ish.
Even if you don't, being able to just 'Nope!' on crits would go a long way in 'extending' your HP pool, which will be mostly d6's after all.

How about a tome of the stilled tongue? An extra 9th-level spell slot every day is quite powerful.

Rob of Absorption? Burn it all up for a one-off, dodge those Power Word and Disintegration spells.

Mantle of Spell Resistance is very underrated. Advantage on all magic saves? Yes please.

Unless you're an abjurer, in which case never mind.

If you want to be abusive, Wave. That counts as "or higher," yes?

If not, Cube of Force. That thing creates a ridiculous barrier to whatever you want to keep out.
Why yes, Warlock is my solution for everything.
