Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XIX: It's Always the Demon Roaches
Belkar's never had karma work in his favour before!
If that's correct, find me a panel that has several of an aquatic goblinoid species in it. Also, it doesn't say what they're called in-comic, but if you happen to know what they are, could you please tell me? I'm curious. My bubble cannot be burst. It is impervious to physical damage.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XIX: It's Always the Demon Roaches
Aquatic goblinoids? Wow. I didn't know those existed. Even #1038 only mentions goblins, hogoblins, bugbears, norkers, nilbogs (who may or may not exist), and the Dark One of whom it's unclear what species, if any, he comes of. None of those seem to be aquatic. I only remember water trolls and water ogres. I''m curious to find out the answer.

Third panel
They are called- I don't know. It isn't mentioned in-comic to my knowledge, and google searches yield nothing beyond "aquatic goblins"

Aquatic hobgoblins are called "koalinths", BTW, although the name isn't used in the comic. They also show up in a bonus strip in DStP, in which they clearly are a distinct species.

Well, I've found this one. Can't find the answer to the free cable question though, so that's still the current question.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XIX: It's Always the Demon Roaches
Each one of us, alone, is but a drop in the sea
Our powers pale compared with the great heroes
Our battles don’t hit theheadlines or shake the earth
But they are few, can’t be everywhere, and we, many
So, when the world or universe needs saving, they come
But when people needs saving, we are the ones to appear
We're underdogs, but we rise up to the challenge to be heroes.

Wow, another strange goblinoid. And it's not even one of the strange ones in the Dark One's army as shown in #704, I believe.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XIX: It's Always the Demon Roaches
Fun fact about goblinoids: if I understood correctly the explanation on the latest 5th edition books, they are a group of distantly related (or even not at all, it's not that clear) species, that were unified under the "goblin/goblinoid" umbrella whem Maglubiyet defeated and subjugated the gods of each race. That's, of course, one version, but I think it's a pretty interesting one.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XIX: It's Always the Demon Roaches
That phrasing is in contravention of rule 6:
There's a difference between rephrasing—finding a different, more precise way to word the question so it has a smaller number of possible answers—and just simply rewriting to rule out the last answer. Over and over again. Don't do the latter.
