Just as a quick solution for the red slaad/blue slaad problem; it's possible the red slaad isn't the parent, but the midwife. And (as I said in another thread) why is everyone expecting slaad reproduction to be so predictable?
Just to divert the thread back to being about the comic, fool that I am

Slaad reproduction varies a lot from edition to edition (in 4e for example, both red and blue slaadi have "implant" rather than "disease" and produce offspring the same colour as themselves).

In 3e, the easiest way for the "tadpole chewing its way out" to be red (hence implanting the nurse) rather than blue (inflicting disease on the nurse) and for the slaad talking to the deva to be parent rather than midwife - is the Slaad Brooder PRC in Savage Species. A 7th level Slaad Brooder can choose the color of their spawn.

Well, I remember when Eric Clapton covered it; 'twas all over the radio. But later I learned that it was a Marley original.
We can say that she shot sliced the sheriff, but she did not shootfatally slice the deputy.
Edited for pedantic accuracy. I enjoyed it when I read the post. (Nobody else had killed the deputy, so far, even though Kubota really wanted to).

Richard Osman had a good response to this song, along the lines of,
'It's not the best answer to give when questioned, is it? I mean, if that was my defence, I'd have opened with 'I didn't shoot the deputy... And I'm not saying anything more without a lawyer present.'

Cut out the opening sass and stick with "I'm not saying anything without a lawyer present." Having denied something opens the door to questioning about that thing.

I'm pretty impressed this reached 57 pages. Last discussion only had 13.

We had a Hilgya/Miko Combo. I'm surprised it didn't reach "more tham 8000!!!"
Each one of us, alone, is but a drop in the sea
Our powers pale compared with the great heroes
Our battles donít hit theheadlines or shake the earth
But they are few, canít be everywhere, and we, many
So, when the world or universe needs saving, they come
But when people needs saving, we are the ones to appear
We're underdogs, but we rise up to the challenge to be heroes.

I resent that entirely truthful remark.

Well, it's like the old saying. You can take a dwarf woman to a marriage at crossbow point, but you can't make her not bankrupt your entire family for your crime.

Or something involving horses and water.

Would it count if I argued that Hilgya should murder her entire family (minus herself and Kudzu)? Or maybe make herself and Kudzu into undead for a moment somehow, then Familicide herself, then raise herself and Kudzu back? I'm a helper, I am.
