Huh, I completely forgot to vote today. Whoops. Still, it’s a good thing that we got a wendigoe.

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
That’s true. I do still think murska is a wolf, but I guess you wouldn’t be as confirmed.
Elena is lock town to me because they were the alternate wagon a lot of people pushed for, and I’m 99% sure there were scum on their wagon. It’s possible that there were two scum wagons, but then I think there’d be a more obvious third wagon that scum would try to join. Out of 13 people, 8 were in either Elenna or tialait, and two were inactive. The other wagons were pretty spread out.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
Wolf wagons wolf fairly frequently in games I've played. It's a risk, sure, but you need to take risks to win. Elenna still looks better in my eyes than before that lynch though, I think she's near the bottom of the suspect list.
I notice you didn't include yourself in your breakdown, Ryast. Some players do, some don't, but tis interesting.
Still suspicious of Duck, though probably less than Murska after the lynch. Iirc Murska is usually quiet at the beginning of a game, so I expect he'll have more to share today... err tomorrow.
With Elenna mostly cleared, I think Ramsus is someone we should look at more thoroughly. He started the wagon on Elenna, which isn't a ton by itself (though the message itself was very non-committal, a wolf trait) but it also read weirdly to me that Ramsus was asking about how we knew kgato and tanar were town. Paying attention or not, who wouldn't at least check the narrator text only a couple of messages above. Ramsus has played mafia many times before.Last edited by Meta; 2019-01-08 at 01:16 PM.

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
Ryast- I don’t get why you think I’m a townie. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad you don’t think I’m a wolf, but I’ve been kind of quiet and even forgot to vote yesterday.

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
Your vote on Tialait felt genuine and actually brought a point to the table, which I feel is good.
Tbh those reads are pretty exaggerated, they're based almost only on tialait interactions - I wouldn't be surprised if they're wrong, but it's a good thing to go off.

Fair enough on wolf wagoning wolf, although bussing generally feels more exaggerated and obvious, in my experience.
Ramsus would be a good person to push, yeah.
and yeah, I tend to let others form their own opinions on me :P doesn't ever feel right to call myself super townie or scummy lol¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
Now that we have a confirmed wolf as a ghost, the Necromancers have a great opportunity to sniff out other wolves.
We should focus on who to ask about, and how to communicate this information to town in a reliable manner.

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
As the sun rises on the chilling woods, everyone can feel the premonitions before they see it. The fact that a tragedy has occurred hangs heavily in the freezing air. And once you all see that a tent has been broken into, a glance inside only confirms what you expected to be true. Another person has been devoured by the Wendigoe and left a mere skeleton, this time the victim being Ryast . As you all are searching the rest of the camp, you also recognize that two people, Super345 and GrayDeath were unable to keep themselves warm at night and died of hypothermia. A great blow has occured to the town indeed.
Ryast was night killed, and Super 345 and GrayDeath were autolynched. Strangely enough, all three of them were villagers.
During your investigations though another Omen is sent from the departed. Two humanoid silhouettes, which you swear that you are somehow familiar with but cannot identify, stand watching the procession with their hands held. They point to the ears, then their ears, and then finally into the shadows. Another spectral figure stands in the shadows where they are pointing and also watches, apart from the two in the center of town. After only seconds of this, all three of the shapes disappear."
Night phase two is over and day phase three has begun. Good hunting y'all. The score is now 4 wolves remaining, 7 village remaining.

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
Hi,
Subtle messaging is not really working so Vengeful Mathemagician here.
DURZAN IS A WENDIGO.
Requilac has me doing mathemathical challenges and I get a temporary power if I get it right.
The first night was a scry and Durzan is furry.
I wanted to start a lynch for him yesterday but it is hard to convince people if he is going to auto-lynch.
This night I got a bane and I baned myself.
I have three goals to win:
- Solve two challenges in a row - Check
- Start the lynch of a wendigo - this post
- Something about best friends that I will talk about if it worked.
Rakky

Sounds good to me. Durzan best case scenario he's a wolf, and worst case scenario we found a wolf.

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
Durzan
It seems like the wolves have no power roles as outlined in the OP, but it might not be a bad idea for power roles to stay off the lynch just in case. A sneaky beast would be annoying.
Let's continue discussing, we can get a lynch plus more out of this.
If the score is 7-4, we realistically have only one more mistake we can afford to make. I think taking a risk on Rakk is a good call but it's something to keep in mind.
With our lack of room for error in mind, let's remember that Rakk is a neutral. That third challenge, or another left unmentioned could be not so good for us.
Can you tell us more about it Rakk? If you're favoring town, might as well go all in together. There's a decent chance you're getting night killed anyways.Szilard has all of those sweet trophies for a reason. Awesome avatar is his handiwork.

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
Not sure how I feel about blindly following a neutral. On the other hand, we're still a couple mislynches away from LYLO, we can afford to test it. Alright, Durzan then.

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
Welp, I will be putting my vote on Rakkoon. I don't trust neutrals. Bad habit from when I regularly played Mafia on SC2. Those who claim neutrals in public are sometimes wolves/mafia/wendigos/evil and that possiblility usually results in them being lynched by the town in that game. Since this is my experience, this will be how I roll.
Not to mention the fact that he could easily be a wolf. Do you guys really want to risk losing another town and wasting a lynch, when time isn't on your side at this point?Last edited by Durzan; 2019-01-11 at 03:08 PM.

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
At the dawn of the day, without warning, Rakkoon loudly pronounces himself as a person wielding untold power and knowledge granted to him by the ancients. This powerful magic he claims is done through rewriting the universe through making mathematical facts which shouldn't be true, true. Surprisingly, no one finds this weird or untrustworthy in the least bit. Then he announces that through his divinations he has discovered that Durzan is possessed of the wendigoe spirit. The crowd is awed by this proud announcement of power, and almost all of them immediately step towards Durzan.
Seeing that he is now a cornered rat, Durzan's claws unsheath and his mouth begins to slobber as his eyes go completely red. He attempts to leap over the crowd at Rakkoon in one last attempt at vengeance before he dies, but the crowd grabs him and pulls him down. As soon as he hits the ground too many weapons descend on Durzan at one time count and hardly a noise is heard as the wendigoe is felled.
Durzan was lynched, and he was a wendigoe. The sides are 3 wendigoe vs 7 villagers. Now, night phase three shall begin, and will end in...

Re: Choir of the Winter Spectres
If rakkoon had been lying we'd only have been one lynch away from game over. Which also means that if he could have sided with town or wolf and was only concerned about winning, he could have easily chosen wolf and ensured that we never could lynch him. Doing so would mean we lose that night, and the wolves would never lynch him either, why waste the night kill.
This makes me more suspicious of you, but still not as much as Duck who attempted to fly under the radar yet again. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, he's who I am most suspicious of in the game at the moment.Szilard has all of those sweet trophies for a reason. Awesome avatar is his handiwork.
