Monitor color correction
So the other day I did something to make my work monitor get all crazy on the colors. Now everything looks either kind of washed out or like some sort of neon pastel; colors are either very subtle or super bold. I hate it, and all the googling I've done has not been able to fix it. This is basically a letter in a bottle hoping someone can help.
Spoiler: For example
ETA: Nevermind. Fixed. Unpluggng/replugging HDMI cable is different than a system reboot, I've now learned.Last edited by Peelee; 2019-01-02 at 11:16 AM.

Re: Monitor color correction
For future reference: a photo would have been a better example. A screenshot does not show the effect of your monitor.

Re: Monitor color correction
Also for future reference: Most monitors will have a factory reset which allows you to undo whatever ill-advised fiddling you've done in the menus.

Re: Monitor color correction
Oh, my post was plenty full of stupid, I'm willing to admit.
Fault seemed to be in the cable connection, though. I went through every menu on the monitor and at least a dozen Windows 10 supposed fixes (and am now convinced that there are multiple versions of Windows 10 that have very slightly different menus and/or options).Cuthalion's art is the prettiest art of all the art.
