Netflix: Wolf

I recently watched all 6 episodes of "Wolf" from Netflix. It is Special Ops action adventure produced in Turkey with English voiceover. I found the production quality, acting, and voice overs pretty good. But a couple episodes in a thought started to occur to me; "Is this just propaganda?"

I don't know enough about what really happened with the recent military coupe in Turkey, so I can't really judge, but I'm suspicious if this series is not more than state-sponsored propaganda to justify the military coupe? Has anyone seen this show and has thoughts? Anyone have any good resources of (relatively) unbiased analysis of the coupe?
