Who wants to bet a plague of explosive singing fish-cultists will be arriving soon?

It's what Lovecraft horror is all about (Neil Gaiman's "Shoggoth's Old Peculiar" says there's an Innsmouth in England, and that's good enough for me).

But, the look on Agatha's face is worrying me. I don't think that's Lucrezia's face, but it still worries me.

Uh, if Lucrezia got her brain scrambled by/with something/someone from another dimension, has Agatha really been running around with three personalities? And will getting rid of Lucrezia allow #3 to start wrecking havoc? I'm just trying to think of the worst way this can go wrong.

Other thought: The Storm King went round the bend and was trapped in time. And we know Van Rijn was in contact with the muse of time (who seems to be Lucrezia) and messing around with time in general. So, maybe what happened to him was the same thing that happened to her?

We still don't know what Judy meant when she said Barry came back. But, if he saw what was an alternate timeline where Klaus was the Other (meaning he'd had his brain scrambled by whatever it is out there that's scrambling brains), then we have a completely different problem.

Up till now, we've been worried about Lucrezia's mind infesting people. Maybe there's something else out there that will infest a whole lot more.

Like I said, just trying to think what can go wrong next.

Judy means when Barry came back with the infant Agatha. Klaus was still missing then, and I don't think anybody outside of the Mechanicsburg Monsters knew about his visit anyway.

Alba and Gil, last I checked, are 100% in favor of removing Lu, so either Bang has shown up and can't wait for a fight or Sephy has shownup. She's either got her own agenda (like keeping Gil and Agatha apart [and the Baron in Gil's head is going to do everything he can to keep Gil away from Lucy]) or she's another one under Lucy's control (don't know when that could have happened, but it's possible).

Or it's just someone overcome by last-minute-plot-contrivance, a common disease in these parts.

I half expect this to go badly in that this chunk of mommy dearest somehow manages to escape and infect someone else.

Nearly every one of Tarvek's facial expressions in the last two strips set off alarms in my head & I'm curious why the wire is disconnected. I wouldn't be shocked if this isn't a plan to bring Lucrezia back with some big double cross... although it may be put on hold by the person shouting " Stop!"

Huh. I thought that was just me.

Grand strategy on the level Tarvek is playing at wouldn't surprise me. He'd need an ally against Martellus if he ever wanted to actually become the Storm King. One would expect that the Heterodyne would represent such an ally, but *shrug* He's backstabbed Agatha before.

I don't think he's backstabbed her since Sturmhalten, which was back when the Foglios weren't sure if he was goint to be an antagonist yet. I'd be rather surprised if he started again now. Also, he knows full well that if he tried to ally with Lucrezia he'd make enemies of all other European leaders (including Grandma and Albia) and probably end up wasped for his trouble.

Albia wants a copy of Lu, that's why. Also it seems that even the personality overlay is a little irritated with the Baron about having to be in control when Gil is near Agatha.
