I'm going to guess Sigdi is a single-class fighter. At her age, she'd have a -1 to physical stats at most and +1 to all mental stats. Not enough to put a huge damper on fighter abilities.

For all the terrible parents (or fathers at least), it just occurred to me that whenever a grand parent is present, the parent becomes much better, as in Roy's mother and his grandfather and now perhaps there is hope for Durkon's child having a good family as Durkon's mother has entered the scene?

Though I am sure Roy's mother is an awesome parent under all circumstances.

She just says it in a very sneaky way to take Hilgya completely off-guard without getting her on her back right away. It's a lot more destabilizing if the person making death threats is acting friendly when they're doing it.

So, all those forum goers who decried Hilgya's killing (and resurrection) of Durkon as a truly evil act, how do you feel about Sugdi thumping Uncle Hoskin?

Depends on how it happened and on the context. But it might well have been a small Evil deed, which doesn't mean Sigdi wasn't Good at the time. You'll note she "[isn't] sayin' it's right". Why do you think she just threatened Hilgya if she didn't think it was wrong?

Y'know, for as much as he was a Stern-but-Wise Father Figure in Durkon's life, Hoskins can't be all that smart if he didn't read losing a tooth as "If, in the unlikely event I change my mind, I'll let you know, but the matter is otherwise closed." I mean, she quite literally hit him in the face with the rejection!
