Re: Police Station XVIII
Damn right it is criminal intent! I've about had it with you! Give me one good reason I shouldn't have my demons torch you into oblivion.

He should've noticed by now that the old building still standing there was a Police Station already.

Which is what I'm protesting, which you obviously haven't listened to.
Demons? Get him.
Aesa has had enough.

The demons are happy to hear the orders, and about fifty of them throw fireballs at Grey.

Re: Police Station XVIII
Gray turns towards the demons.
"No, demons, don't listen to her. She's a bad influence and you probably shouldn't be hanging around her. It would be in your best interest to go home and mind your studies."
He grins at Aesa and winks.Last edited by Woland; 2007-10-09 at 09:22 PM.

Too late. Demons have already sided, and it happened to be with where their master sided. With Aesa.

Re: Police Station XVIII
As the fireballs hit him, he mutters, "oh, for the love of..." the area around him exploding in roaring fire.
When it clears, Gray appears to be bent over in agony. Well, that, or he's bent over because he's shoveling more rubble into a pile.
Either way, there is a general curvature to his form.Last edited by Woland; 2007-10-09 at 09:23 PM.

Assuming neither, Aesa attempts to cage him in force to prevent him from moving.

Re: Police Station XVIII
Gray sighs as the force cage closes around him.
"Are we really doing this? From what I can see you appear to be a somewhat unstoppable force. I, however, was nicknamed 'the immovable object' by my classmates in my youth. (Long story, involves me trying to patent cement shoes.)
Do you know what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?
Nothing. That's what happens. It's anti-climactic and disappointing for spectators like the ones over there."
He points to the note-taking citizens.
"So let's just do this - I'll rebuild the police station, you dashingly 'defeat' me in mortal combat, and, if you really want a square of land to call your own, you can crash at my apartment for a while. I won't even charge rent!
What do you say? Do you honestly want to toss skittle-disintegrates until the cows come home? Or do you want to make some progress before the weekend comes and we're the only two kids not at the big community faire?"Last edited by Woland; 2007-10-09 at 09:33 PM.

Re: Police Station XVIII
That's just no fair.
BAD's attempts to morph his axe into a cage around Aesa.
(Attempts meaning that aesa has a chance to a avoid it, not that it might not morph.)

Re: Police Station XVIII
Have you never met someone with a conviction before, man?
I don't believe the station should be rebuilt. This was done on a whim, yes, but the idea behind it? The reasoning? My purpose in doing it?
Are telling me to toss everything I think aside? I'm not going to. I've clung to this idea so long, waited for it- and now when I've finally accomplished this you just expect me to step aside?
I don't care if I lose, or if it is a bad show, or if it is stupid to try. I'm going to stay by my beliefs.
Aesa layers over the force cage with antimagic, hoping that would hold him a wee bit more solidly.
Aesa has an axe form a cage around her. She doesn't honestly seem to care much.Last edited by AmberVael; 2007-10-09 at 09:37 PM.

Re: Police Station XVIII
Gray puts his face in his hand.
"Okay, so magic isn't the only thing you throw around. You also apparently fling words like 'convictions,' 'beliefs,' and 'it.'
You think you can out-last me? Fine, go ahead and try. But I have one major advantage over you.
I have absolutely nothing better to do."
Gray begins skootching the force barrier around from the inside, using it to push more rubble into the pile.
Edit: due to a misunderstanding, I'm going to state what has transpired here.
Gray, with the powers of a fairy stapled to a genie in the stomach of a unicorn, has used 'madj ick' to be able to move through the barrier. He has, however, created his own barrier for comic effect, (he's such a gosh-darn cheeky young'un) which he is pushing around to emphasize his tenacity like so many interpretive dancers.

750 feet up, the Vulture pilot snickers when the lettering appears on the shield.

Re: Police Station XVIII
Except, being force, an immovable object, it does not move. He might find ways to teleport out of it... or disintegrate it, but force by nature is immovable.
Unless he's distorting space and/or the laws of physics. Then he can probably move it, much to Aesa's dismay.Last edited by AmberVael; 2007-10-09 at 09:48 PM.

Re: Police Station XVIII
And ignoring the shield is exactly the wrong thing to do.
The instant attention fades from the shield, BAD is back, the sheild an axe, and he's chopping at demons with solid nonexistance.
Complete controll of a single object is very VERY useful.

Re: Police Station XVIII
Gray's ability to push his box-like prison around has a very specific reason behind it.
The encasing energy is by definition a 'thing.' And, of course, the nature of 'things' includes the ability to have them 'skootched.' Essentially, the innate skootchability of a 'thing' means that Gray isn't necessarily prevented from changing the surrounding barrier's position relative to the air, the ground, and the rubble by means of kinetic energy.
In other words, there's a big transparent 'thing' that Gray happens to be pushing around. It may not be Aesa's barrier, but whatever it is, it certainly is being 'skootched.'Last edited by Woland; 2007-10-09 at 09:57 PM.
