Is there something wrong with the air conditioner in here? It keeps squeaking!

Also, smacking people who give solutions to the wrong problem upside the head with the big blue bat of motivation has never steered me wrong. Albeit I mostly threatened to do that to my idiot younger brother. And I suppose violence is rather looked down upon as a solution to strictly social problems. Nevertheless, the threat of violence (or the miming of violence at someone) generally communicates frustration with improper behavior.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we've ever met in real life. Also, you've never been subjected to my rants About the changes and inconsistencies in Peter Jackson's version of Lord of the Rings (for starters, what was wrong with Erkenbrand? He is easily established as leading a large host, unlike Eomer who's got maybe a hundred people following him the last time he appeared on screen. Also the Prancing Point scene just doesn't work as well without The Man in the Moon stayed up too late, which was actually a very clever move by Frodo in the book as it stopped it from being obvious that he was trying to shut Pippin up, and Pippin himself was being much less oblivious...)

So you're the entire cast of Friends? From my second-hand knowledge of the 90s, that makes you practically the definition of a 90s TV show.

So I had a group interview today, I walked in and realized that I was dreadfully over dressed. I got a mix of compliments and ribbing, so it wasn't bad but the next best dressed person wore chinos and a dress shirt.

I would like to submit my resume for "Chief Gadgeteer". I have most of a master's degree in Electrical Engineering and know how to program robots to dance to my whim! I can also wield whatever idiosyncratic weapon you want for my turn on the quirky mini-boss squad. (I'm thinking some sort of electro-axe.) Finally, I have experience as an "Alpha Minion". You can't go wrong hiring me into your tech department!

Also, I know someone who can make perfect chocolate-oatmeal no-bakes. Minion morale is important.

@TVTyrant> What job were you interviewing for that there was a group interview? I think the last time I had one I was applying for a job at McDonalds which I did not get.

Door to door canvassing for the ACLU. The job is starting fast so it was more of a group introduction/orientation then a quick interview.

If applications to the LSE are still open, I already have the accent and I'm only a few months away from being a legally certified evil scientist (the transcript says BSc in chemistry, but it comes to the same thing). I also do a good line in maniacal laughter

    Okay.

vBulletin is cool because it usually can understand what you're trying to do even if you overlap tags instead of nesting them; there are very, very, very few languages that can accomplish that.

    EDIT: It doesn't always, though.

Well cute boi replied, now I'm just waiting for him to be online so we can potentially have a conversation or, more likely, for him to ghost me.

Also got my doctor's appointment in just under two and a half hours, hopefully I'll be able to find out if I have anxiety and/or depression.

A doctor will have to set up an appointment with a specialist to find that out.
