Queen Carnassial shrieked in outrage at the sudden assault and her guard-esobok surged forward to fend off Bellas (sinking teeth and claws into her flesh) while the tooth fairy monarch flitted away. Trying to dodge an opportune attack from Bellas, she flung a spell at Henrietta standing in the open doorway.

Queen Carnassial is going to fly away from Bellas (she can't take a 5' step as the throne is essentially difficult terrain. Bellas gets an attack of opportunity. Once she moves out of the way, she is going to cast a spell at Henrietta. I'll need a will save please.

Moving into the room, Cotyledon could see the two hostile entities were relatively close to each other. She clasped her twigish hands together, and from her wooden fingers a cone of brilliant flame erupted to engulf them both.

Henrietta

For a moment, Henrietta felt the effects of the Queen's spell take hold, but steeled her resolve, gritted her teeth, and summoned her will, powering through the magic.

"You'll have to try harder than that! In Shelyn's name, I pronounce Judgment upon you!"

Glaive at the ready, Henrietta lunged forward, swinging at the queen. Shelyn's favor flowed through her, and she felt her attack fly keener than it might have ordinarily done.

"I will drive you from my palace myself!" Queen Carnassial leapt from her throne, ignoring any attack Henrietta may take at her, and proceeded to wallop the inquisitor with her scepter. Skritcher meanwhile landed one swipe at Bellas.

Queen Carnassial screamed as Gilbert's weapon shatters some of her own teeth. Skritcher quickly leapt to her defense, mauling the half-elf with tooth and claw. Recovering her composure, the tooth fairy monarch flicked out a long sinuous tongue and plucked a tooth from her scepter, quickly eating it and gaining some measure of healing. She then stepped to the side and swung at Henrietta once more.

Gilbert (assuming his AC is still 15) is hit by the Esobok's bite and both claw attacks. He suffers 14 points of damage and is grappled by the Esobok. Carnassial gobbles a tooth and heals for 5 before trying to bite (and miss) Henrietta.

One final slice from Henrietta's glaive laid Queen Carnassial low and the faerie sunk to the floor unconscious and bleeding. Her scepter fell from her hand, clattering loudly on the floor.

You have defeated, but not slain, Queen Carnassial. Searching her person, you find a strange jawbone (empty of teeth) with sigils carved into them.There are also two complete sets of Masterwork Plate Armor (with teeth attached to them acting as armor spikes. The teeth can be removed with one hour of work (per set of armor).

You can kill Carnassial if you wish, but you would know from previous combat against tooth fairies that they explode upon death, damaging everyone in a radius around them.

After disposing of the 'queen' and dropping a rock on her for good measure, the group assesses the situation.

Cotyledon shines forth soft healing energy to help Gilbert and Henrietta.
"Well, should we return to Uspid and get our stamp of approval? The sooner we can get out of here, the better!"

Cotyledon's healing energy barely takes the sting off Gilbert and Henrietta's injuries, leaving the ghoran with a glum expression on her flower petal face.
"Well... that was underwhelming. Here."
She tapped Gilbert with the healing wand they had found, doing a better job at repairing his ravaged flesh.

"Considering Uspid was the only fairy here to not attack us on sight, perhaps we can simply report our success to him, get our seal of approval, and then be on our way. We could all use some time to rest and recover our talents and abilities."

Returning to the door just outside of Prince Uspid's library, Cotyledon knocked before cracking the door open.
"Prince Uspid? We return to report that your mother has been slain. You are now the true monarch of this place. As promised, give us our seal of approval and we shall be on our way. And I would not suggest betraying us now; we have become quite practiced at killing tooth fairies, and dare I say the rest of my companions would love to finish exterminating the remaining pests here. Those pests being you. You dirty, dirty, filthy, stinky fairies. Just a reminder: I don't have teeth!"

A brief few moments passed and the doors were opened by the fairy's minions. Prince Uspid peered down at Coty from atop his heap of refuse. "You have done well!" he squeaked, obviously trying to maintain composure. "Have you the jawbone she keeps upon herself as proof of your deed?"

Wordlessly, Henrietta plucked the jawbone from her pocket (having relieved it from the Queen's dying form earlier) and unceremoniously tossing it toward the prince.

"Wait, that's what we need to get out of here." Bellas's hand snapped out to try and pluck the jawbone stamp out of mid-air.

Henrietta's aim was impeccable, and she threw faster than Bellas could stop her. The jawbone sailed through the air and past the waiting hands of Prince Uspid who was walloped in the face by the object.

"Ow!"

Uspid's minions gripped their weapons, ready to avenge the insult to their lord, but Uspid waved them down. "No matter, no matter. As I said, you have done well." He lifted the jawbone and waved the adventurers forward. "Line up and I'll stamp you all."

Cotyledon stepped forward, presenting her bark-like forearm to the fairy.

Bellas eyed Uspid warily but lined up behind Coty.

"Interesting place you have here. Who originally owned it?" She looked bored as she held out her hand to be stamped.

"The palace predates our settling here," Uspid said slowly, eyeing Bellas warily as he applied the mystical stamp to each adventurer in turn. As he waved the sigil-covered jawbone over them, matching sigils appeared upon the backs of their hands. "But the decor fits us well, no?"

Assuming nobody attacks, Uspid is gonna stamp y'all.

Uspid quickly stamped all five of the adventurers (and Coty's familiar) and bid them a somewhat less-than-fond farewell. Tired from the day's labors (it was hard to tell time of day in the Boneyard), the troupe barricaded themselves into one of the upper rooms of the Palace of Teeth to rest and recuperate.

Stacking a pair of suits of full plate against the only door to the room they chose to rest in served as a rather ample barricade against intrusion. The party laid out their blankets and bedrolls as they prepared for a well-deserved rest.

Cotyledon, however, did not join them.
"I do not sleep," she said cheerfully, "So I guess I will keep a watch out for danger. We ought to be safe enough in here. The rest of you should rest."

The ghoran busied herself with removing the teeth from one of the breastplates of a suit of armor they had looted, before removing her own suit of scale mail. She fitted the new breastplate to her torso, the well-made metal affording her a tad better mobility in her arms and legs. Although she kept the heavy leather boots that came with her original armor, her underlying clothing was now more easily visible, revealing the lower end of a tunic and breeches made of green and brown dyed wool.

Near the end of their rest, Coty communed with Shrine, feeling her connection to the spirits of Life strengthen from the ordeals she had endured. By the time her non-plant companions were refreshed and ready to resume travel, she had meditated on a new set of spells and winkled free the secret of a new hex.
