Is it just me, or is there way too much "[Insert Show] is ruined" on Youtube?

Pick a tv show, a series of movies, books, whatever... Several people on youtube are currently complaining about how something has ruined that show- That show is dead, and no one can enjoy it anymore because of some recent development.

It's one thing to say that a recent episode or season wasn't that great, but to say that this thing they've liked up until now has died, or been ruined, seems a bit much. Is it just me, or are Youtube fandoms way too pessimistic?

It's just inevitable with any ongoing series--at some point, there will be a certain number of people who become disenchanted with it. Not just Youtube, but the internet in general, gives them a public forum to voice their opinion.
