Actually I have an old half-written campaign I'd love to finish that's in 3.5 (I may look over Pathfinder again and see if it wouldn't we too much hassle to convert, since I've wanted to try PF for a long time now). Converting to 5e would almost necessitate redoing most of what's already down, sadly.

To be fair here, if I invited everyone I wanted to play a campaign with, it would be far too large to be anywhere near manageable. The theme, if you haven't already noticed, is people who I believe I've built a quality rapport with over the years and who also have openly stated they've never played D&D. You succeed on the first but fail on the second.

I will choose to believe that I too fail only the second test.

Aren't you in college? You shouldn't be failing any tests! Go! Study! Also play D&D and party responsibly.

None of that stops the jealousy, which is an irrational feeling, after all.

Studying? Tests? Sir, I think you have the wrong number.

I do wish I had more time for D&D, or board and card games in general. Something for next year, I suppose.

If he's wearing the real deal so openly wouldn't Xykon notice it?

Redcloak mentioned he made the fake one an exact replica, so I assume he's not openly wearing the real one. There's too many ways that could be noticed. It's a lot more likely he's kept it hidden.

Or, to reiterate the previous discussion, destroyed.

I tend to agree that we probably would've seen it get destroyed; I tend to think that for most important things (such as the suggestion that Durkon told people they need to negotiate with Redcloak off screen), though it could be a bit of a twist if he already has done so. When would he get a good chance to since it's been recovered, though? He and Xykon left right after the recovery of the phylactery, so they've been together almost constantly and Redcloak has had to prepare spells to do Xykon's bidding and delve into the tomb constantly since. I don't know when he'd be able to get a good chunk of time to both get away from Xykon and prepare the right spells without arousing suspicion. Which now that I think of it is a good reason for why he wouldn't destroy it immediately.
