    Tara Special [Tech] [Energy] [Disintegration] [Teleportation]
    This weapon looks sort of like one of those old cylinder loaded guns ("revolvers"), but it is in fact an advanced piece of tech. It harvests Aidan's energy field to power itself, and stores part of it in the resonation chamber that is its barrel; with a press of the trigger, a small portal is opened at the target coordinates, instantly relocating the disintegration "bullet". The cylinder hosts advanced pattern-tracking cameras and multiple kinds of rangefinders for acquiring such coordinates with extreme precision.
    Aidan had this built to counter higher level Dreamers, since it can't be dodged and bypasses most shields, and given the timing of its completion, the name seemed fitting enough.


    Also, 26 Downtimes? Yikes. I think I could get...6 HP? Where's the "too cheesy" cutoff point at?

    If you want to burn them all on Hero Points you certainly can, but remember this is functionally your last opportunity to make substantial setting changes with Downtime Actions and you're already sitting on seven Hero Points. Also given that Tara's the final boss it's safe to assume she'll be making fairly liberal use of Fiat, which means Hero Points won't exactly be in short supply during the battle. So it's like, if you think you'll need thirteen Hero Points going into the battle, go for it. But I'm not sure you'll actually have the occasion to use them all. Could be wrong though.

    He actually can't. The difference between Tara and her clones is immediately apparent. Tara's outputting so much raw energy that it's kinda impossible to discern what specific effects are upon her.

    That level of raw energy output likely means she's entirely immune not just to detection effects, but to any kind of effect that would affect her powers against her will - she has Immunity to All Metapower Effects.

    Prophet, give me Toughness DC 31 vs. Damage, Fortitude DC 26 vs. Vulnerable/Stunned.

    Then give me a pair of DC 26 Insight checks. Fail the first and you're Vulnerable to the next attack, fail the second and you're Impaired one round.

    If you're Vulnerable at this point, give me Toughness DC 31 vs. Damage, Will DC 26 vs. Cumulative, Progressive Powers Entranced/Stunned/Transformed.

    Aidan, Toughness DC 33 vs. Damage.

    Kate, Toughness DC 36 vs. Damage.

    Everyone, Dodge DC 20 for half, Fortitude DC 20/15 vs. Weaken Fighting. Tara...actually can't fail against this without more penalties, thanks to Evasion.
