    -16 [points already spent on Affliction]

    +7 add Line Area (Limited 2 [5']) [10 ranks] to Damage and Affliction.

    Unless I've done something wrong, the result should be:

    Deflect becomes affected by your conditions as soon as you take them. Only time Deflect overwrites conditions is when the target has conditions and is not the user, because the target is not the one providing the defense.

    Improve Existing Traits can't give more points in penalties than its base value. So you'd need to drop two points of effects there. Also...my instinct is that you shouldn't be able to use Variable to deduct points from a stunt (or other on-the-fly power). I recognize that you could have deducted those points from the base stuff of the array, but I'm already pretty generous with stunt durations letting them always function as Enhanced Traits. One of the downsides of that is that the stunt basically locks you in if you want to keep it going, unless you're paying a surcharge for Continuous. I'm open to arguments otherwise I suppose...but do bear in mind that if you convince me it functionally means Tara 1 could Augment Tara 2, apply 50 points of penalties from her stunt, and basically be playing with 100 points of augmentation using only a single standard action while 30 points of stunted extras are still in play (she'd be locked in Opened Mind to use them, granted, but when you're talking Cumulative Mind Control that's only so limiting). I...don't think that sort of thing should be possible.

    Improve Existing Traits can't add Alternate Resistance (Defense) to a power directly; it may only apply it when it is already the base resistance of the power. To get Alternate Resistance (Defense) on your Damage...normally you'd just have to use Focused Disintegration as the base power you're augmenting, but since the stunt is eating your Disintegration Augments you can't do that. In that case I'd usually say to duplicate that power outside the array, but since it's granting Alternate Resistance (Defense) rather than just being a Damage (Alternate Resistance [Defense]) power it still runs afoul the can't add directly rule.

    Also, you're counting the AR: Toughness on the Affliction as +0/rank. With IET, the Affliction being Linked to Defense-resisted Damage would default to AR: Defense at +1/rank. Changing it from this default would replace the AE: Defense with AE: Toughness, still at +1/rank. However, since it now targets a different defense than the power it's linked to, it would have to buy AE again with an additional +1/rank surcharge. Net would be +2/rank.

    On the fly limits have to be actual limits in the situation you use them in. Limiting Area size when you are facing only one enemy who happens to have two health tracks isn't.

    Also, last round's Cloud triggers. Both Taras Toughness DC 25 vs Damage, Dodge or Strength DC (1d20+15)[18] vs Grab (that can't be sustained, but I doubt they'll fail anyway).
