As long as ~ is a creature, you may cast planeswalker cards, legendary creature cards and creature cards with flying as though they had flash.

Planeswalkers do not leave the battlefield if they have 0 or less Loyalty counters on them.
    Planewalkers are indestructible.
If Planar Phylactery leaves the battlefield, you lose the game.

I have very mixed feelings about this. A quick look shows the closest competitors are Cultists Staff and Champions Helm.

Technically if you pair it with the right initial creature draw, (Diregraf Ghoul most notably), you can get this out in combo on turn 3 with 1 mana left over on turn 2 and turn 3. Whereas cultists would leave you with no mana left over. However using that mana is eithier going to require putting a lot of focus on 1 mana drops in your deck or getting really lucky. At the same time a way to get a 4/4, (or even a 3/3 if you go for a 1/1 1 mana drop), turn 3 is really powerful in it's own right, almost any other drop alongside that really jacks up the early game aggro. At the same time it's a steep negetive for a very modest effect under many circumstances. And the extra return from graveyard effect is terrible value. It really feels like unless you cna make an early game deciding play with it it's strictly worse than any alternative but it doesn't have the best ability to make such a play and the return from graveyard almost feels tacked on in an attempt to answer that.

    It is when:

    A) As was recently pointed out to me, 8 mana is a lot. Anything you do for 8 mana needs to be a game winner.

    B) Your doing it in a colour that has a whole host of far cheaper ways of pulling things back from the graveyard.

    C) Said other methods often don't exile the card when it goes back to the graveyard.

First don't take me bothering to comment too harsh, i'm generally going to comment on any card that seriously catches my eye in any way. Just the way i am.

Also i wouldn't say it's completely terrible overall. The real issue is that it has a very niche advantage but outside of that it's pure negative and the last ability feels like it was put on purely for the sake of trying to make it useful past the first few turns. Having stuff on a card that makes it more useful outside of a specific area isn't strictly a bad thing, but it generally shouldn't be so obvious.

My suggestion would be to make it gains counters whenever equipped and make the equip bonus equal to the counter count. That way you can bring it in as a simple +1/+1 bonus at first, but by sacrificing, (i'd change exile to sacrifice there btw), creatures to it by moving it around you can up the power. I'd also completely drop the exile creature if destroyed while equipped clause, it feels unduly punitive in a colour that generally likes getting killed stuff back, and in many cases relies on it.

There are already easier ways to go infinite with Stuffy Doll. As long as they're not in the same Standard environment, I wouldn't be too worried.

R, T, Discard a card: Create a 3/1 red Elemental creature token with trample, haste, and 'Exile this creature at the beginning of your end step'.

RRR, T, Discard a card: Create a 6/1 red Elemental creature token with trample, haste, and 'Exile this creature at the beginning of your end step'.

Art Description - An overhead view of an anvil. At first glance, it looks to be normal, though sparking with electricity. A second look shows that the sparks are lancing toward humanoids at the base of the anvil, wreaking havoc as they do before sputtering into nothingness.

    C) Said other methods often don't exile the card when it goes back to the graveyard.
Because they're not repeatable. Many effects that are repeatable reanimation exile to keep them in line.

You keep saying that there are cards that do what this card does but better, but I have yet to see any of them. Please provide some examples.

When CARDNAME attacks an opponent, you may put a card that player owns from exile into that player's graveyard. If you do, that player sacrifices a permanent.
