Is there audio software to change your voice?
I'm looking for some kind of software (preferably free) that will let me record myself and alter the quality of my voice. I want to have effects done in advance for my d&d game, like the big bad's voice echoing laughter or something. Just thought I'd ask here in case anyone knew of something.

Re: Is there audio software to change your voice?
Audacity is what you want if you're looking to record and edit sound.
Of course, knowing which effects are good for what you want to do is a different matter entirely, but you can probably play around with the default effects and find something passable."Okay, so I'm going to quick draw and dual wield these one-pound caltrops as improvised weapons..."

"Oh, hey, look! Blue Eyes Black Lotus!" "Wait what, do you sacrifice a mana to the... Does it like, summon a... What would that card even do!?" "Oh, it's got a four-energy attack. Completely unviable in actual play, so don't worry about it."

Clownfish and Audacity are the two I've played a little with.
Clownfish is for realtime stuff, like when you are chatting on Discord or similar. Audacity can do that (I think) but it's really a fully fledged digital audio table/mixer.
