Yep. I like your RotRL too. I just can’t deal with gestalt..

Technically, this is not even the recruitment thread yet, so kind of. The game itself will only have a party of three, so there is that part too.

Ok, I made some adjustments accordingly, let me know if I missed anything.

    Spoiler
    Show
Avarice - Your greed in life was what led to your death. You always put your own interests above others. You had to have what you wanted, even if you had to kill, steal, cheat, etc to get it. Your character gains +2 to Appraise and +2 to Perception, both of which are always considered class skills for you.

Your Avarice causes your eyes to become Orange in color and they seem to glow when you find something you believe is valuable (but not really, it does not show up in areas of darkness). Your eyes are unusually large and your arms and fingers are unusually long and spindly (not enough to improve reach though). You may use Identify and Fool's Gold as spell-like abilities each once per day and may analyze and determine the properties of magic items using Perception rather than Spellcraft, and may do so without Detect Magic if you use your Identify spell-like ability to do so.

Because of your Avarice, you must make a Will save (DC 10 + half your level, minimum 11) whenever you see something that appears valuable to you (must be equal to at least (Character level)^2 x 100 gp). Failure causes you a personal need to have it. The DC increases by 2 for each successful save until you fail at such a save and acquire the object of that failure, at which point it resets to its normal value If you fail. Failure to acquire the object causes you to take a -2 penalty on all skill checks, saves, and ability checks (including Initiative). You may make a save at the end of each day equal to the original DC -1 for each day you've had the compulsion to end it. The base DC resets either after you make this save or you acquire the item of your obsession and break the compulsion that way.

    Spoiler
    Show
Envy - Your envy of those around you in life was considerable. You were spiteful and always acted to try to take what others had, even if you had to kill for it. You gain +2 to Bluff and Sense Motive checks, and both are considered class skills for you.

Your Envy causes your eyes to become an unnaturally bright green that seem to glow when someone triggers your envy. Your eyes are smaller than normal and you seem to be squinting as if in anger. Additionally your features seem to harden and become angular as if you are carved out of stone. You may use Negative Reaction and Corrosive Touch as spell-like abilities each once per day, and may reroll a failed saving throw once per day, taking the new result, even if it is worse. For each time you your sin increases, you may reroll an additional failed save an additional time per day (but only once per save).

Because of your Envy, you don't trust anyone, even your own allies. You must make a Will save each day equal to 10 + half your character level (minimum 11). If you fail this save, then you cannot give or receive the benefit of flanking or teamwork feats and must make a save against any spell cast upon you, even beneficial ones (if the spell has no saving throw, then roll a Will save with a DC equal to 10 + spell level + casters relevant casting ability modifier). Each day you succeed on this save increases its DC by +2. This lasts for 24 hours. After failing a save, the DC resets to its base value.

    Spoiler
    Show
Gluttony - Your gluttony caused you to do everything in excess during your life. Be it drinking, sex, drugs, food, etc you could never get enough and would constantly gorge yourself. You gain a +2 bonus to Heal and Survival, and both are considered class skills for you.

Your Gluttony causes your eyes to appear a deep black, which seems to darken further the hungrier you get (whether it is for food or something else). Your body becomes emaciated and acquires the pallor of a corpse while your teeth are needle-like. You gain a bite attack that deals 1d6 damage, and every time your sin increases, add +1 damage to it. You may use Infernal Healing and Acid Maw (self only) as Spell-like Abilities each once per day.

Your hunger is unbearable and you constantly feel the need to feed. During combat, every time a nearby (within single movement range for you) creature falls unconscious or dies, you must make a Will save or stop what you are doing, rush to the body and begin eating it. This can also target allies as well as enemies, though the hunger subsides after battle, so seeing people resting normally does not trigger this compulsion. Every time you succeed on your will save, it suffices for the rest of combat, but the DC increases by 2. Each round on your turn, you may attempt to make a save with a DC of the failed save -1 for each round that has passed since then. Otherwise, only a threat to your life (such as being targeted by an attack or non-harmless spell) can shock you out of your eating. You have no limit to how much you can eat, and eat at a remarkable pace (1 round per hit die of the target). After a failed save, either finishing the corpse, being shocked out of eating, or making the save to break away resets the base DC for the compulsion

    Spoiler
    Show
Lust - Your passions ruled you in life. You allowed your zeal to erode you morality. This does not necessarily mean sexual passion, but could be anything. You were obsessive and had to pursue your desires no matter who you hurt along the way. You gain + 2 to Acrobatics and Diplomacy, and they are always considered class skills for you.

Your lust causes your eyes to turn a shade of rich violet, and they have a degree of mania to them. If you are female, you become far more curvacious, accentuating the breasts and hips. For men, your muscle tone seems to become more exaggerated, without increasing muscle size. You may use Charm Person (other damned souls count as humanoid for this purpose, but fiends do not) and Unnatural Lust as Spell-like Abilities each once per day.

Your lust makes you a slave to your passions and they are harder to resist. Whenever you encounter a non-hostile, intelligent creature, you must make a Will save or become fixated on them. This fixation does not necessarily have to be sexual, but you tend to objectify them and become extremely possessive of them. You take a -2 penalty to saves, skill checks, and ability checks unless you are near them (within a single move action in distance), due to your difficulty in shifting focus. Your obsession drives you to want to be around the person constantly and "own" them in some manner. This persists for up to one hour per character level you have after breaking contact with them, after which, your penalties fade. Each successful save increases the Will save DC by 2 until you succumb, at which point it resets. However, as long as you remain within range of one of your fixations, it does not end, and as a result, you risk suffering multiple fixations (maximum 1 + 1 every 5 levels, any new potential targets do not trigger this while within range of them) if you are not separated from the initial fixation.

    Spoiler
    Show
Pride - Your narcissism and arrogance was your downfall in life. You believe yourself to be above all and you take failure very poorly. You gain a +2 bonus to both Perform and Use Magic Device checks.

Your pride causes your eyes to change to an oppressively rich blue color. Your features become smooth and pristine, the contrasts in your features cause them to become all the more striking. You may use Delusional Pride and Lock Gaze as Spell-like Abilities each once a day. Additionally, you gain a +2 bonus vs mind-affecting effects due to how self-absorbed you are.

You find failure unacceptable and you do not know how to deal with someone besting your skills. Whenever you make a d20 roll and fail by 5 or more, you must make a Will save. Failure causes you to suffer a -2 penalty to all saves, skill checks, and ability checks for the rest of the day. As usual, each successful save increases the DC by +2. An 8 hour rest resets this compulsion.

    Spoiler
    Show
Sloth - Your refusal to face adversity or personal cowardice caused many people to suffer due to your lack of personal responsibility. You gain +2 to Disguise and Ride checks.

Your Sloth causes your eyes to take on a pale yellow, and your features become bloated and saggy. You may use Unseen Servant and Expeditious Retreat each once per day as Spell-like Abilities. Additionally, you gain DR 1/- due to your utter ennui and apathy manifesting as a reflection of your solipsism.

You loathe exertion and difficult tasks. When faced with adversity, you have to resist the urge to just give up. Facing a challenge (be it skill-based (DC 15 + character level) or combat based) that has a CR higher than your character level, you must make a Will save or try to back out of it. If forced into ordeal, you suffer a -2 penalty to all skill checks, saves, ability checks, and attack rolls associated with the situation (so, it does not include damage rolls). If in combat, after 2 rounds, on each of your turns, you may make a Will save equal to the failed save's DC -1 for each round you were previously able to make this save during the engagement. Success allows you to act normally and join combat, but at the standard penalty. Again, for each successful save after triggering engagement, the DC increases by 2, and failing a save resets the DC to its base value. The penalty lasts until the triggering situation ends.

    Spoiler
    Show
Wrath - Rage and violence ruled your life, and it now manifests itself outwardly. You gain +2 to both Intimidate and Ride.

Your rage colors your eyes a bright red, seeming to flash with a cruel hunger during combat. You gain a hardened, yet manic visage and your muscles seem to swell and your skin seems to tighten to excentuate it. You may use Enlarge Self and Compel Hostility as Spell-like Abilities each once per day. Additionally, all damage rolls you make receive a +1 untyped bonus.

Your anger is hard to contain, and whenever you enter combat you must make a Will save or enter an uncontrollable frenzy. If you fail your save, you gain a +2 circumstance bonus to saves vs fear and you must attack each round or move closer to a target if they are out of range. This follows the same limitations as a barbarian rage. If you have the rage class feature, this consumes those rounds if triggered (though you still gain it's bonuses). At first this only includes enemies, but after all enemies are slain, you start attacking the closest creatures, including allies. Each round after all enemies are slain (or seem to be slain), you may make a Will save equal to the failed will save -1 for each round that has passed since the last enemy fell. A successful save allows you to act normally and break the compulsion. As normal, each successful save at the start of combat increases the DC for subsequent checks by +2. After a failure to save, the DC resets back to its base value.

I am happy to see you embraced my suggestions. It is also interesting to see how you modified them.

So yeah I am still interested.

Ok, still interested and throwing up a vague idea for an Overwhelming Soul//Mesmerist, a consummate liar and seducer, but twist, with the Pride sin.

Ah, ok, forgot about that, will change it.

Edit: Fixed it, oh and once I finish the big 16, I'll throw up a separate recruitment thread.
