It seems Xel wants the Order to act like the cop in this Key & Peele skit:

The criminal is the death worm in this comparison, if that wasn't clear.

Nice link. Wasn’t quite what I expected, but amusing.

And yeah, the more I think about it, the more the Nightcrawler is a lousy example for my original point. It blows the party’s invisibility cover. It’s way to coincidental that it’s there talking to Gontor in the first place, and, taken overall, there’s just too small a probability of it being an innocent bystander, even if the order didn’t hear that it’s actively partnered with him. I’ll withdraw the example.

And since it’s probably time for me to stop digging this hole deeper, I’ll also withdraw the original assertion about alignments, citing lack of good points to back it up. Apologies for cluttering up the thread. I’ll try to spend a bit more time thinking through my support of such claims before posting them in the future.

*Gasp!* A person on an internet forum that acknowledges their argument was flawed and graciously withdraws from the debate? What alternate reality are you from and how can we all get there?!

Glad you enjoyed the link. Key & Peele was such a great show.

My posts are categorically wrong 99.37% if the time, yet I continue to post endlessly.

More seriously, please feel free to continue posting your thoughts and ideas. It’s a comic book message board on the internet. Your ideas are allowed to be right or wrong, serious or absurd.

(Also, is Bianca a valley girl? The movie is set in Seattle...)

    It's the worst color!

(if you accept that "ugliest" is the same as "worst" when it comes to colors)

Though with a descriptor like that, I now regret proposing it as the color of "being wrong".

No worries. I’m still hanging around, and I took all the comments in good humor (I enjoy a good snark, sometimes even when it’s aimed at me ). I suppose I’ll have to apologize again if anyone actually intended to offend me.

I just had realized that I fell into one of the classic traps:
    1. Make brazen, over-the-top claim based on half-formed, subjective impressions
    2. Get called out on said claim
    3. Double down on trying to “prove” original claim with increasingly shaky claims.
I’d just like to avoid stumbling over step 3 again for a while. A week would be nice.

"Only Dwarves May Enter", or something along those lines. They were translated back when the building first showed up, so you may want to check the discussion thread for that strip for the most accurate translation.
