You know, something just occurred to me. Do any of the pieces of masonry Talgrun dug up show signs of acid damage (pitting, excessive wear, that sort of thing)?

Sorry to hear that, hope everything will turn out fine. As for the group, I agree with Rahl to move on, my character dont know anything about rune and pharaon so he'll stay silent and play with his rat.

They do not. Neither do the pillars.

For what its worth, Talgrun will have put his armor back on once the group started moving again since they avoided traveling during the afternoon.

Survival check to see which of the two groups appears to have been larger? I also have Track.

(1d20+11)[24] (+4 if any of the group are humans from Favored Enemy)

I was thinking of doing the same thing. Might as well both look, increase our chances of knowing:
    Survival: (1d20+22)[38]
I also have track, so an extra +4 if atleast one of them is an arcanist (Favored Enemy)

I got +22 from max ranks, a bunch of little bonus and by using up 1/3 of my highest level spells slots.

    Spoiler: Calculations
    Show
    +9 from Max Ranks
    +3 Wisdom Bonus [Main Stat]
+2 Synergy Bonus [Knowledge (Nature) and we are in a Desert]
+2 Nature's Sense [Level 1 Druid Class Feature]
+1 Illiterate Trait [+1 to one skill, I chose Survival because it made the most sense for a Nomad which Azrael was at the time]
+5 Competence Bonus from the "Primal Instinct" spell Azrael cast on himself in the morning. [Lasts 24 Hours, costs a 3rd Level Spell Slot]
    =
    +22

The tracks were made by a mixture of horses and camels, and just for future reference, my house rule is that when tracking groups more than half must be a favored enemy for bonuses to apply, otherwise any distinguishing patterns are muddled by the other creatures. It would appear that the party you are tracking is approximately 20 individuals, assuming every mount is bearing a rider and not just baggage. Only about five went southwest while the rest turned southeast.

Good to know and makes perfect sense to me to houserule it that way.

    That seems perfectly logical.

Also, holy stacking bonuses, AA King. Didn't realize there was a Knowledge (Nature) synergy for Survival. I always forget all the linkages there.

You don't spot any bandits, and while you suspect that Lwellyn is somewhere in the immediate vicinity, especially once Allynna lies down, you are unable to pick him out

Luminous Armor gives of light like a Daylight spell, so that's a 60 foot radius of full daylight around me and 60 feet of dimlight beyond the first 60. Should be amble to light up this cave.

It's an issue of architecture rather than sand.

Just one question, have I managed to cast Cast's Grace before spider attack?

Also knowledge check to maybe get some specifics about spiders and their abilities

Yes, everybody got any declared preparations done.

    Spoiler: Nature Check
    Show
Spiders like these come in two general varieties, web spinning and hunting. These appear to be webspinners by the fact that they did not spring upon Lwellyn and Azrael. All spiders are by definition ambush predators whose primary weapon is their venom, which in high enough doses can immobilize even the largest of prey. They have keen eyesight and the ability to sense prey that comes into contact with their webs. Despite being highly aggressive and territorial with outsiders, monstrous spiders generally live in clutches of up to a dozen individuals. Mostly relying on their venom and their ambushing abilities they are generally rather fragile when forced to engage in a direct fight.

Edit - @Master_Rahl22: The spiders actually got a surprise round, beating Lwellyn's spot and listen checks, so they are not flatfooted, please reroll your damage. There is sand in area G1 but not in area G2.

Are the spiders standing next to each other? As in, can I catch both in a 5-foot radius burst?

Same question :) Seems like spiders are about to be burned. Also, my initiative is +4 at the moment, but it doesn't matter in this fight as spiders rolled last.
