    Default Erfworld 81, page 75

Question answered: Link going, going, gone!

    Misty seems to be fine.

The person that I would assume to be the foolamancer appears to be, at least for the moment: batboop insane. But we don't know weither or not this is a preexisting condition.

And the thinkamancer seems to have croaked.

What does Parson have planed to "disobey Stanley"? And why is Bogroll still in Parson's Hamstard shirt?

'Son'? Did i read that right?

Was it Misty on the floor, or the third caster? If Misty is the foolmancer, can we guess what Stanleys 'son' is?

And uh, if units are built...how do they have family ties?

One other think; looks like Stanly isn't going to run for the hills; He's going to take the fight to Ansom somehow, or he's going to finalize the defenses.

It's not over yet. Go GK! Show those coalition clowns why it's never a good idea to resolve your entire selection of plot threads.

He's just crazy. Mostly. One or two bits seem to be an attempt a "Madman's prophacy" He can see the future, but is mad, and thus unreliable.

It looks like one of the Trimancers (not Misty, one of the other two) suffered a mental meltdown when the link was severed.

That would seem to confirm that Stanley's link-breaking was not simply shutting the system down for the night.

EDIT: Google-fu confirms my vague recollection that the insane comments are quotes from the Fool in King Lear.

The words the guy in the purple cloak says are all lines spoken by the Fool from Shakespeare's King Lear. So...yes, he's the Foolamancer.

    EDIT: Damn, Steve, you're fast.

Misty (the lookomancer) is wearing orange, so she's down (possibly dead).
Its likely that the thinkamancer is grey, since he's in the middle of the link.
The foolamancer is purple, explaining all of his quotes.

Misty the Lookamancer is in the grey robe. The one that is lying down is in a red/orange robe. How do I know Misty is in grey? Misty is female. In the second to last panel on page 78, how many and which of the Eyemancers have breasts?

From our perspective, it looks like she is either nealing down to the one in the red/orange robes, the Thinkamancer; or she is slumped over him.

Stanley is trying to snap a seemingly insane or at least dazed Foolamancer (really onlybased on that he calls himself a "fool") out of his delerium, giving orders, and draging said caster out of the room.

Yeah Misty is in the orange robe, the one in the purple is the most likely the foolamancer because of the he is quoting a fool from Shakespeare, that would leave the one in the grey the thinkamancer. I doubt Misty is dead because it is light out and therefore nearly dawn, and if Misty was dead the thinkamancer would be doing something else.

Let me guess how you came about this information: truthiness?

    Let's look at the facts:

Misty is one of the Eyemancers that make up the trimancer array.

Misty is female, and therefore, has breasts: one of the female secondary sexual characteristics.

The only member of the of the trimancer array with breasts is in the gray robes; the member is therefore female.

All of this evidence leads up to one and only one logical conclusion:

Misty is in the grey robes.

I think it's Misty on the floor. She's in an orange robe in the earlier strips she's in.

Parson's showing a little more iron than I'd have expected. His grognard's need to win appear's to be overriding any concern he might have about being disbanded. Kick-boop!.

Ahh, good spot. I guess it was Misty on the floor after all, with the Thinkmancer in gray standing over her.

I think that's a generic address with an overtone of exerting authority (e.g. a general addressing a soldier as "son").

By the by, I hate to be "that guy," but supersede is spelled with an "s". It's the only word of its ilk that's spelled that way, and it's easy to trip over! Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. Can I get a "Yo Joe!!"?

Nope both the orange and the gray have breasts; notice the shading on the orange robes and compare it to the purple. Yes the Misty's breasts are smaller but they are there. Also look carefuly at the side of the last panel of 72.

Check it out, even though the "lighting" isn't superb, here, here and here she can be seen wearing orange.
Also, I think that in this one it isn't that obvious that the gray robed Eyemancers is the only female. I think it possible that the orange-robed Eyemancers is also female, but isn't "posed" in such a way that obvious breast-drawing is required?

Looks orange to me. And unlike Wanda, I don't think the 'mancers get wardrobe changes. I could be wrong; it would be time number 543,975 in a series of millions, but it sure looks like it's her.

I can't see the three 'mancers carefully selecting their daily wardrobe. I suspect they just wear the same thing. Over and over. All part of the "minimal self-awareness" thing.

On the other hand, they might not consistently wear the same robe from day to day -- they might just grab whichever of the three robes happens to be most conveniently within reach.

That said, the grey-robed one always seems to be in the middle (the logical place for the Thinkamancer who binds the "alloy").

On page page 24 they also show the trimancers, and, orange and purple have no breasts in sight: likewise on page 26.

And on 26 there is even lighting on the ruffles on orange's robes. You would think that if a ruffle would be large enough to be lit that breasts could given a little attention.

Either that, or he's planning to stick around and spring an ambush when Ansom arrives. If he's planning to take a flight of dwagons out into the field and attack, leaving GK to its fate, (the other popular speculation) there isn't all that much point in ordering the Knights (ground-pounder troops) assembled.

Aside from tying up the coalition forces for that much longer: every turn that they take thinking that Stanley is in Gobwin Knob is another 50+ move that he can move away.
