Dena opens her mouth to point out that they should get their attention first when Tina already swoops down towards the two.
As Electra position herself before Magtok, Dena considers her options of survival but thankfully it never came to that it seemed as Electra stands down.

As Tina let's her go, Dena can't quite let the tensions go after that near-death experience but she's going to act as if she had as she lands gracefully on the floor. "Correction, Tina almost got me killed. She's immortal and stuff, you know? Which is why I'd at least have the satisfaction of haunting her." She's pretty sure that would make Tina think of that one ghost-movie that she saw like one scene of though.
"But what do you need, Electra? I could make some calls."

"Heck yeah!" Fettina says, turning on the wing and swooping down toward Electra and Magtok. She's... an angel covered in liquid chrome with a little black dress and an oni mask. I don't know, her whole look is a mess right now. "What's up nerds? Dude!" She drops Dena and throws her hands out at Magtok. "That was amazing! Did you build that fireworks thing?"

Electra nods.

"An odd way of saying hi, but I suppose it's a...clone rivalry sort of thing?" Putting it into those sorts of terms just feels weird. "How villainous are we talking, though? What sort of collateral damage is acceptable to him? Would he, say, attack Lady Arachne just because she asked you to provide some-"

She cuts off as movement from above suddenly catches her attention, and she blurs, suddenly in front of Magtok, and facing the direction Tina's coming from before the chrome angel actually gets within earshot of the pair, hand in her shawl where her weapons are hidden, positioned to shield the cyborg with her own body if necessary. She doesn't exactly look pleased to see Tina as a result, but manages not to actually draw her weapon or shoot anyone. Instead she gives Dena a look that's somewhere between annoyance and...smug satisfaction? That can't be good.

"Well, you've managed to almost get yourselves killed, but since you're here, Dena, perhaps you'd like to discuss an additional contract for increased security for Sir Magtok...and perhaps his premises? Someone did just hire an assassin to kill him, after all."

"Think in Saturday morning cartoon villain terms. If a hostage going to be dangled over a pit of sharks, the hero has to be given a sporting chance at preventing them from getting dunked in. No amount of property damage is too much, and collateral damage is possible, but it's not the point. They've-" Magtok sighs in exasperation. He's kept the other two waiting long enough; he should stop blabbing about Malice and finally acknowledge their existence before one of them thinks he's rude. The angel probably deserves it because angels are almost always insufferable killjoys, fun police, and snitches, but Dena was there when we first hammered out a deal with Dipsnig. She's been pleasant enough so far, so why not return the favor?

"Oh hey Dena, and...Tina, is it? Yeah, I made the Panoplicon," he nods, pointing a thumb at the horrendous fusion of diabolical pipe organ and magical fireworks ribauldequin. "It was actually going to be a bit bigger than this, but I didn't want to go overbudget. Listen, I think you're all blowing this whole assassination attempt thing out of proportion. The killer was stopped before I even got a chance to see them, weren't they? Taken alive and interrogated, without the rest of the party going into a panic? No casualties? It sounds like everything's perfectly okay to me," the cyborg insists, partly out of a misplaced sense of invulnerability, and partially because Dena making some calls sounds like something Dipsnig might charge him extra for later on. Holding up our end of the bargain with MERC is going to be difficult as is; we don't need added fees slapped onto the bill just because Malice's bargain bin hired gun made someone a little jumpy. Malice is just a dumb wimpy loser, Electra, we'll be fiiiiiiine!

Electra looks back to Magtok with a curious expression.

"I'd feel better if you at least had an escort back to...the MagCave, wasn't it? Or are you staying somewhere else now?" She hasn't been keeping up on recent rumors of the cyborg. A bit sloppy, that, but then, she hasn't been privy to the deal Dena and Dipsnig hammered out with him, so it's not like she's really needed to. "If he's as you say, he probably won't try anything further, but just in case there's another freelancer he hired independently of the first one, I'd like to make sure you get back home safe. Unfortunately, I'm spread a little thinly at the moment. Your would-be assassin hasn't been the only security issue tonight."

She looks to Dena.

"Do you know if there's anyone who didn't sign up for tonight and might be available?"

"Pfft, oh, come on, Electra. Don't be so dramatic. You couldn't kill me if you tried!" Tina decides. "And don't worry, Dena. These wings make pretty good shields, too. Bounce lasers off and stuff. Do you guys want some help protecting Mr. Tok here?"

Tina's eyes widen a little. "Ooh, ooh! I could fly him home! I don't know where that is, but it'd be pretty easy, he looks skinny." The chrome gal folds her wings. "I wanna talk about hiring him anyways. Do you do parties a lot?"

"Yeah, sounds like things have worked out pretty smoothly considering the circumstances. Electra here is one of our best agents, y'know?" Dena gestures at her.
Things had worked out so well that she barely had noticed there had been an assassination attempt at all!

Then Tina speaks up which as it often does make Dena raise an eyebrow. "Tina does not work for MERC. Nor is she trained in any body-guarding." She eyes the 'angel'. "So I can't gurantee any safety with her. She would probably get him home pretty quickly if he was willing though. Otherwise I could always call in special agent, but it'll take them a while to be here." She turns to Electra. "I mean, I could assist, but I'm not really as well-equipped as I'd prefer to be in this dress." Dena's dress doesn't leave much to the imagination.

Electra smiles as Dena compliments her, then chuckles at Tina.

"I'd feel terrible if I were forced to try, dear, but you do raise an interesting idea, if Sir Magtok is willing. It seems doubtful that Malice would have hired anyone who would be willing to go up against an actual angel, and he's probably not prepared for it himself, either. I can't spare any more personnel, but I could send some aerial drones along as an escort to ensure clear skies, if that would be agreeable."

She grins at Dena. "You're well equipped Dena, just not for this particular mission, and no reason you should, after all, you're not exactly on the clock tonight, either."

"I'm fine with whatever you ladies decide on," the cyborg shrugs, before shifting gears to the much more important question that Tina had, since it has nothing to do with anything as irrelevant, dull, and unexciting as his personal safety and fragile mortality. "This is the Panoplicon's maiden voyage and my first party where I'm neither host nor guest, actually," Magtok interjects, chiming in for a moment so the ladies can back to their mercenary talk. He was going to say something about how this was a one-time thing and that he's too great and spectacular and important to be anyone's pyrotechnics guy ever again, but most of his initial antipathy towards Tina melts away when she calls him 'skinny.' He'd put on a couple pounds around Thanksmas of last year, and then spent the entire spring and summer trying to burn it all away before his next public appearance. Good to hear he's back to his usual scrawny self. He also might've said something about how he's perfectly capable of hovering off of the ground and floating away on his own, but then Electra would surely realize that a clone like Malice must be able to fly as well, and then she'd insist on even more security measures, wouldn't she? Nope, sometimes it's better just to keep your mouth shut.

"Yeah-heah! I'm deadleh, see?" Fettina responds to Electra's sorta-encouragement by flashing her nonexistent guns. Her arms still look as thin and wiry as ever. "I'll keep him safe. Or his money back! He did pay for you guys, right? I'll totally pay you back if he comes out damaged."

Now back to Magtok. "So you think you would have made it bigger without having to worry about a budget, huh?" Fettina eyes it and rubs her chin, making an exaggerated 'hmmmm'. "You and me, Magtok, I think we can make some beautiful music together."

"So am I flying Mr. Genius here or not?" She looks at the ladies, since Magtok's defaulted to them too.

Dena let's out a 'tssk' sound in amusment to Electra's comment, letting the tips of her cloven tongue in view for a moment. "You of anyone should know that apperances can deceive, Electra." Of course, Electra can hide stuff inside her body and Dena... can't. Not without some considerable effort at least.

She looks to Magtok and Tina. How came they had never encountered one another all that much? They were both cyborgs after all, and kinda silly too. They had so much in common!

"I'm going to take personal responsibility if anything happens to Magtok while you take him back home, Tina. I'm also going to send Violet with you, just in case. But yeah, fly him home, but be very careful."

"Of course," Electra says with a slightly predatory smile. She can't exactly hide things in her body, at least, not without the same troubles as Dena, but her technopathy makes it relatively simple for her to control a lot of her automated toys at once, which is almost as good. She looks to Tina, and nods in agreement with Dena.

"Go ahead then. My drones will meet you in flight once you've gone back through the portal."

Magtok makes a big show of yawning dramatically as he waits for security to iron out all of the little details. What's all this business about a portal, though? Is that how everyone got here and he just forgot, or simply didn't know about because he came here some other way because he was working for the host? Blagh, it's times like these that the cyborg wishes he still had all the other clones around to consult with, wordlessly bouncing questions off of the MagClone neural network and getting reliable answers before anyone has time to realize he had no idea what was going on just a moment ago.

"I'll be very careful and won't let anyone maim, mutilate, or murder me until after Tina drops me off," Magtok promises, sprinkling some acerbic impatience into his tone. Gods, he's starting to hope Malice really does try to kill him on the way back, just so he can get away from this utter snoozefest and see some action and mayhem again.

"Okay! Come on, baby, let's go," says Tina, walking over to pick up Magtok in whatever way is most comfortable and spreading her wings to take off. She'll take him wherever the cyborg directs. No promises she won't bother him some about his digs when they get there.

"Good luck. Just listen to Magtok for directions or if he has any orders. Otherwise, have fun in the cave I guess." Dena smiles as she watches them fly off.
