Ti'Lei's eyes open, and while badly hurt, she is concious. (you can take your turn as normal, but since I rolled everything, I'm going to make the enemy act before you for simplicity).

The swarm of monsters fails to get through Henry's armor (jeez, two 1s on the first roll).

As his companions fall, and the creatures begin to surround him, Henry yells to Aurix, I'll try and hold them off, you get the others back on their feet. Henry then begins taking massive swings at the creatures that looks most injured.

Tie'Lei's eyes fly open shortly after her head hits the ground she rolls backwards before standing up attempting to escape the creatures reach. The ground around her is slippery and cold as she stands up she downs one of the larger potions she had with her.

Ti'Lei downs a potion before scrambling back away from the creatures.

Henry strikes at the seeming leader of the creatures, but cannot get through the creature's defenses.

The large creature stops attacking for a moment, before focusing. The other creatures seem to become even more vicious in their attacks.

So while Bronze continues fighting the at one end, she heads to cover and prepares to fire on the hobgoblin as soon as it sticks its head out of cover. Going down and then quickly up Finnegan rolls out of the way of another hailstorm and runs towards the hobgoblin wizard. On his way out he hurls a dagger towards the other figures.

Finnegan stands and rushes towards the alleyway between two of the houses. His hurled dagger clinks against the chitin of the larger creature.

The hobgoblin spellcaster jumps over the alleyway, well out of reach of Finnegan. There appears to be four of them. Copper looses two bolts. One hits one of them, and it disappears. The second appears to hit something solid, in the left arm. It runs off onto the front of the building, in sight of Henry. After a moment of chanting, five magical darts fly towards him. All hit him from various directions, one of which bursts violently. (21 damage).

Aurix follows Ti Lei against the warehouse, eager to get some cover from the spellcaster. Getting beside Ti Lei, he passes her a healing potion.

T'Lei nods her thanks to Aurix and makes a note to repay the favour when they are out of this mess. Scowling at the creatures infront of her she begins to hiss out words in Infernal. Even those that don't understand her can tell that it is not a pleasant sentence. At the same time she steps back and her outstretched hand points towards Finnegan, her voice begins to change and a melody of harsh hisses is interjected with a soft hum which relaxes the soul. The two opposing sounds mesh together oddly as she speaks.

Ti'Lei manages to strike down one of the attacking creatures with her mere words, forced through with some psychic magic. It crumples to the ground, leaving one less attacker for Henry to face down against.

The other two strike against the well armored paladin. The first's claw is easily deflected, but the second, even with bronze's help, still connects, the claw sinking deep into Henry's left leg (13 damage). Before the claw can withdraw, it glows with a black energy. Henry briefly notices the Hobgoblin on the roof chanting something, and his leg burns as if it is being cut off, the flesh blackening around the wound. (13 additional necrotic damage)

Henry lets out a grunt of surprise and pain as his flesh is rendered for the first time. The hobgoblin was really starting to take his toll on Henry so he hoped that one of the others would be able to handle it. Feeling the pain, and knowing he can't sustain many more magical attacks fro the hobgoblin, Henry has no choice but to grab a potion and drink it. Once he heals a bit, Henry launches another round of attacks at the leader.

Finnegan keeps moving quickly, going straight up the wall of the house in front of him and emergerging behind the hobgoblin on the roof. There he sprints towards it with his dagger, trying to push it off the roof with his main hand and jab it with the other.

(I’m assuming the wall can be scaled with 20ft or less of movement, if this is wrong I’ll change it. Note that I have second story work which helps significantly)

Bronze clamps down on the Relaysoul's Left arm, tearing pieces of its chitinous armor off.

Finnegan rushes up the wall, and quickly shoves one of the hobgoblin images. He is lucky and picks the right one, stabbing it with a dagger as it falls from the building (1 dagger damage, 5 fall damage).

With the Hobgoblin no longer hidden on the roof, Copper looses two bolts, the first going wide but the second impacts on its right arm. The blood spray indicates the bolt hit the real hobgoblin instead of a mirror image (14 damage, right arm injury).

In response, the hobgoblin stands and looses a handful of magic missiles at Copper (16 damage)

Seeing the energy blasts slam into Copper, Aurix growls in frustration and runs forward, casting a worried glance back at Ti Lei. Skidding to a halt on his knees beside the injured artificer, the silver dragonborn digs around in his satchel before pulling out a round, thick-glassed vessel. He tears out the stopper with his teeth and shoves it at Copper - Drink this, and don't stop firing that crossbow of yours. Your metal pet's doing fine, by the way.

She is still shook up from her clear lack of actual fighting skill but resolves herself to help these heroes out however she can. She spits infernal at one of the creatures while humming another tune directing its healing energy to Henry as he stands boldly in the midst of three creatures, the small bronze dog by his side like a guardian. This will make a fine tale when the get through...

Bronze, intent on keeping the other creatures from harming Henry, cannot manage to catch the nearby creature with his teeth.

Finnegan rushes up and obliterates the creature with a precision strike.

She nods to Aurix, "Thank you, you saved us all with your quick actions." turning to the rest of the ragtag group, "You are all clearly more experienced than I am. Thank you for everything today. Shall we finish searching the area and trying to discover what is going on?" she cautiously moves to investigate the lead creature the "Relay Soul"

Finnegan slumps off his feet as the fight ends, clearly only just holding it together before this. He then slowly walks over to the hobgoblin and begins turning it over, looking for either loot or a reason for a sentient being like this one to work with a crew of abberatikns and mutants.
