As for my Will Save, I think you read that wrong. I would only have a +4 Will save with the Owl's Wisdom. Where'd the +9 come from? Are you think of my Fort Save instead?

I don't know totemists. +2 base, +2 WIS adjust (from the potion), then can't you invest 5 essentia into Cerulean Will for another +5?

Figured you'd target my Will Save, so I buffed it as high as I can. Cerulean Will has a maximum cap of 1 essentia right now, and Totemist's have a +0 base will save. Right now, I have only a +5 bonus on Will Saves.

I figured my odds of hitting on any one spell were low, so Elethomel is laying them down as fast as he can. If you make two more saves, his tactics will have to be very different indeed.

DC17 is with the enhancement. I forgot to activate it round 1, and by the time the spell was going off, it was too late.

Elethomel is going to use 15 rounds or so to make sure that if Drago survives the coup, he'll not be able to one-shot Elethomel. The spear, morningstar, and shield go in the drink. Knowledge arcana - (1d20+11)[12], can the soulmelds be removed or deactivated without waking Drago? If so, Elethiomel will do so.

Edit: Whoa. I belive the damage each time is 2d6-2 to a minimum of 1, so that's actually 8 damage. We can get a ref to confirm, if you like, otherwise, Fort save DC18.

I'll make the Fort save and see if the distinction is moot. If not, we can get a ref in here to make a ruling. BTW, Soulmelds are non removable. I have to will them from existance to take them off myself.

Either the death-loogie or a grapple would have been a quick and messy ending. That was too close. I'm starting to doubt the wisdom of leaving a 6 in strength (and banning evocation). I guess I have to look into the orb spells for the coup.

You have a scroll of invisibility and a scroll of summon monster 2. I figured you'd pull that combo on me to soften me up, and if that didn't work then you'd Color Spray me from behind. I got Detect Magic from a Soulmeld just so I could have a chance to find invisible creatures.

Oh. Elethiomel used the SMII scroll in the previous match and was disappointed enough to not buy another. "Soften" doesn't work well for a non-combatant like Elethiomel. Sometimes he hopes for "distract."
