    News and Rumors:
    • Gamma Axolotl efforts continue, with the project well under way. With the sudden violent purging of one of their LC's by the ANE irate members of the consensus demand full transparency and the wraps come off. The project is a massive gathering investment, collecting signal data from various powers around the galaxy into a massive information lake through which participants will pore for connections to any unknown ANE strongholds, be they minor bases or the HQ itself. Once the process is complete a concerted effort will be made to have the Eradicators reflect on their name in the most lethal of ways, removing their scourge from Axiom - for the betterment of all galactic siblings.

The Tezh Consensus is still actively soliciting data collection from their fellows around the galaxy, even though another imminent threat is also upon everyone thanks to the UPT.

    • With the discovery of forces at K33, Consensus worlds come out strongly in favor of Wrath's effort to block a future disruption to the galaxy. Too much has been lost with the first event, and too much could be at risk from future ones. Heritage and folklore destroyed as constellations change, stellar communities disrupted for a callous intelligence's amusement, and more. Despite their military frames jumping to the front of the conflict at Hearth and suffering massive losses on behalf of the citizens of WWE, they are still more than willing give all that they can spare on behalf of their fellows to fight for stability.

Furthermore with the unfolding events around K33 and details that have emerged, TZH leadership is horrified and universally condemns the UPT for their actions against their own citizens via the sacrificing of LC's and against the galaxy at large for deliberately advancing the agenda of Efficiency - a Caller AI apparently gone rampant. They disseminate a damaged communication that was located after the group effort of siblings in recent years and somewhat reconstructed, offering scathing rebuke to whatever power beyond the UPT may have had this information for not sharing with the larger community, as it was evident at the time of gathering that the information that could prevent further damage to galactic stability was already out in the wild.

      Corrupted datagram
(Message still incomplete. All highlighted words were missing from original message, color indicates confidence: green=good, yellow=medium, orange=suspect)

The Tezh Consensus requests that their stellar siblings pitch in on the side of Wrath, not for any altruism towards TZH worlds but for their own peace and prosperity. The Great Yeet must be stopped, permanently.
    • News of the Grymlan's outreach program reaches TZH worlds. With near unanimous support, the Governing Council of the Tezh Consensus approves of the initiative and warmly welcomes immigrants from the Combine, providing bountiful information on how to navigate the Visa (and Naturalization, if desired) system smoothly. A parallel isolated data network is configured for OwO devices and subscribers so they can operate throughout TZH worlds as if they were still in Combine space. Those well versed in OwO protocols are invited to share knowledge of the system with One professors who are interested in foreign data structures and non-biological learning systems.

    The Sunbream Confederacy

    Actions

    1. [Diplomacy 10] Declare the Sunbream Confederacy a galactic power In the wake of the tragic destruction of the Collected Nations' military, the Sunbream Confederacy council steps up to the task of providing security to the civilian ships in Dipanan Space, voting to distribute the Confederacy's military force throughout the area and police the ships therein.
    2. [Diplomacy] Move Capitol from Katarsa [M27] to the Spacific Cluster [N28] [1/2] The communications stations around Katarsa have a much higher capacity than those near Pinauliki, meaning that to effectively coordinate throughout Dipanan space, the Confederacy must use them, for the moment.
    3. [Military 5] Create General Kovan abd Zkiel Roll 10. An ambitious project by the dreamdivers in their quest to unlock the means of sunbream sentience, Kovan abd Zkiel inhabits the body of a broad-oar, but was built from the minds of six sunbreams linked together. Although Kovan requires near-constant immunosuppression from Rass dreamdivers to keep the sunbream crews from attacking each other, and is exceedingly creepy to other sunbreams, its mental acuity and devotion to the church are not to be questioned.
    4. [Military] Raise a Unit Bint Savas, the Daughters of War. Twenty-four partner-bonded sunbreams armed with the latest and greatest in sunbream military technology (energy conversion weapons) and trained by Aysun al Seljuk. Given their close relationships with each other, it is expected that the Bint Savas will exhibit greater determination and better cooperation in battle.
    5. [Intrigue] Secret The Dreamdivers' undead Broad-Oars have been busy...

    Non-Actions
    • Change Admiral Nirali Butrana to Aysun uum Savas. Aysun al Seljuk adopts the moniker "uum Savas" after her mother Nugrul pulls enough strings to get her appointed military commander for the confederacy.
    • Support Conversions to Church of Rust

    News and Rumors

As taxes for the protection offered by the Confederacy to the Dipanan territories begin to roll in, the council debates what to do with this new wealth. Some argue for immediately beginning to teach others of the truth sought by the Dream-Divers, while the more secularly oriented pods argue for increasing the size of the confederacy's military to prepare for the potential dangers of a second revolution. Still others argue for continuing the war against the Same, but are reminded of the extent to which the Confederacy's forces are already spread thin.

The Organ Farms of the Dipanans, the Confederacy council concludes, should best be left under the same management scheme that the Dipanans used. Until more is understood about these farms, meddling should be discouraged where possible.

The Grymlan combine makes an offer to export some organs. The Dipanans agree, and the Combine pays the tax, so they are allowed to do so.

Spoiler: Reply To the Vilari Sodality
    Show

    Spirit-mouth of the Sodality,

You understand our struggle well. Perhaps my understanding is to blame for my interpretation of the rest of your message. I understand you wish us to abandon the Dipanans and their Organ farms, and hope that revolution separates us from them forever. I understand, however, that this is impossible. Two of these farms, Minjobique and Pinauliki, and many of their tenders reside in orbit of the Spacific. They will remain with us in revolution. To leave these farms unguarded would be a great unkindness to our neighbors, and to divide the Dipanans themselves from their fellows an even greater cruelty. The only sector we could therefore abandon is that of the mercenaries that are your neighbors, which I could likely persuade the council to consider. As for the rest, I trust your wisdom will not bring you to seek the impossible with war and death.

    In hopes of prudence,
    Jali Nugrul uum Aysun

    Dipanan N&R
The betrayal by the sunbreams and the occupation of Dipanan space by their "security" forces is a travesty! Or so, at least, most high ranking Dipanan elites claim. Despite the sunbreams' barbarous regulation of formerly Dipanan space, however, they have a remarkably light touch planetside. Although the sunbreams in cooperation with Rass dreamdivers monitor the construction of new ships, preventing the construction of military vessels, they otherwise do not interfere in the Collected Nations' government.

Shelohu Colony quietly sends a message to the Vilari Sodality asking for help. While no lives have been threatened within the colony, the Dipanan government has lost control of inter-planetary trade, which is now being subject to the taxes and harsh regulations of the Sunbream confederacy.

Although on Katarsa and the larger colonies evacuation to the Grymlan combine is laughed down as leaving the frying pan for the fire, it is a more attractive option for inhabitants of the smaller more trade dependent colonies like Algany where off-world taxes are more immediately felt.

    Uno Ophelo, Lord of Coin

    Actions
    1. [Military] Raise 1 unit of Battle Droids - Composed of Killbot fleets and commanded by jailbroken Protocol Droids installed with warfare firmware a new automated legion is rolled out in Nyx. Compubane senior leadership express discomfort at the Nyxian employment of synthetic soldiers given their experience with Peter and their view on the Same but their voices do not carry enough weight to halt production. A fully updated Battle Droid would take orders from appropriately designated organic handlers and carry out its instructions to the greatest possible extent allowed by its programming. The droids would no doubt prove highly popular for private defense contracts with minimal funding available for the more expensive upkeep of private armies. Mercenaries being chewed up in war were far cheaper than mercenaries sitting around collecting a protection paycheck. For the latter droids would do for the millionaire or billionaire looking to save on living costs.
    2. [Military] Raise 1/3 Unit a Lancer class capital ship - With formal lines of communication now opened between the Geleans and Nyxians allowing the influx of new technologies the capital class ships premiered by the Republic of Celes were now on the table for Nyxian reproduction. Additionally the Celenains themselves had joined the Nyxians as brothers at the round table of the Rose and given their expertise in the arena they are paid the appropriate fees to purchase design documents for their Lancer-class capital ships. While Nyx prided itself on the cheap disposability of their mercenary armies which had been used on multiple occasions to great success against the savage races the growing prospect of combat between fellow Maturated or those beyond Maturated in technological knowledge makes investing in top of the line ships a growing priority. Whether this new Lancer-class would go on to serve Nyxian interests or be sold to another stellar power remained to be seen but for now work begins assembling the material from H22 and laying the framework to the massive ship being built in a spacedock between Nyx and New Lopurna.
    3. [Economy] Buyout D32 Black Sapphires TP2 2d8+8 (Galactic Currency, Lopurna) - With technological upgrades coming to Nyxian vessels from the Geleans Lord Uno and the majority of the Merchant Princes and Merchant Governors invest heavily in the means to power these wonderful new toys. Military spending was always profitable in a war and Axiom never seemed to stop having some world upending disaster to throw a fleet at making it a sound investment. The arcane-psionic gems that composed the Dreamscape's defense network would make exceptional fuel for the Energy Conversion Weapons acquired by the Geleans from the Same and with little competition in the area and the spectacle of the trial of Brez Y'ett drawing eyes the Nyxians hope to make a strong but somewhat discreet economic showing.
    4. [Economy] Buyout C25 Glazed Diamonds TP1 2d8+9 (Galactic Currency) - Further investments into the war effort funnel into the (currently) nearby sector of C25 seeking to capitalize on the focusing crystal properties one could manage from the glazed diamonds mined in the region. These were hoped to fuel the more advanced energy lances developed by the Geleans. Lord Domino had thrown his lot in with the Geleans at a time when that move had been difficult and now Lord Uno hoped to reap the rewards of his father's wise investment through rapid technological development. Powering the most advanced weapons systems on the market would allow the Nyxians to, should they choose, invest in even further R&D relating to EC weaponry.
    5. [Intrigue] Aid Grymlan Wormhole Study 1/? - While some within the galaxy took a dim view regarding the Grymlans and OwO the Nyxians and the Combine had come to a reliable trade agreement early in Lord Domino's reign and now his son Lord Uno sought to strengthen ties between them. Farseekers on contract in Nyx space are sent to join their brethren in investigating the now stable wormhole between the Dreamscape and Rust space. While advertised as a mission of friendship and discovery there was also the fact of the matter that controlling space warping capabilities was a very important industry to get in on the ground floor of. The Cosmic Couriers were testament to that with a headquarters in the center of the Same and Maturated still running around to do their bidding. Whatever whacko beliefs the Rust cultists had about AIs they weren't wrong to seek control over gateways between the galaxy. Perhaps a merger could be negotiated but for now the Nyxians seek to invest their money into independent investigations of the wormhole phenomena outside the purview of the Church of Rust.

    Republic of Celes (CEL)
Under the leadership of Consul Milton Euler
    Round 13

    News and Rumors
    • The ever interminable Celenian campaign season is coming up. The two years long slog of TV appearances is typically met with only morbid fascination by other civilizations, but this upcoming Consulship election is noteworthy for two titillating reasons. The first is the surprise announcement of the present Consul, Milton Euler, to not seek reelection, citing a desire to spend more time with his insolent children and distant wife. Reelecting an incumbent from the Loyalist party is almost a foregone conclusion, but Euler never possessed the rabid popularity of his predecessor. Rumors also insinuate the party not-so-secretly seeks a more pro-war candidate, finding Euler to be far too moderate to meet the demands of the military industrial complex. The second surprising reason to watch this election cycle is the unexpected popularity of one young woman seeking the nomination of the progressive Azure party. Deneb Stardust is probably best known for her Instafame following of 1.2 billion and her ability to "wear the absolute **** out of a sweater and tights". Consul Euler seeks reelection with the full support of his party.
    • For aiding and abetting the galactic terrorist organization known as ANE, the WWE is excoriated in a less-than-private communique. A crash course in economic sanctions is to follow. The RCS Squall is recalled to duty in civilized space; pirates and their cohorts do not deserve the protection of Celenian warships.

    Actions
    • [Military] Special 10, Develop Military Technology: Advanced Cruisers (-1 Combat Loss & -1 Size Loss, Requires Capital Ship Hulls and Hard Metal Alloys) - The culmination of myriad lesser technologies and logistical innovations, the latest generation of Celenian hull designs again makes the prospect of war in the void just a little less suicidal. If you have to fight space pirate and monsters, then you really should do it from the safety and comfort of a warship the size of multiple city blocks. The more armor and redundancies between you and the uncaring vacuum of space, the better. The newest designs include: downsized fusion reactors, improved radiation shielding, prototype hardlight shields, reactive compartmentalization, self sealing bulkheads, multiple repair drone swarms, and lighter hulls.
    • [Military] Invade K11, Fleet Admiral Khatri (Mil 10) leading 9 Units, Tac Doc: Space Superiority, Tech: Capital Ship Hulls (-1 Combat Losses, Celenian Alloys), Microplating (+1 Combat, Ordivician Alloys), War Beasts (+1 Combat, Big Green Men), +1 Recon Success, TOTAL = +22 Distance mitigated by CPC Rep 2
    • [Economy] Buyout TP1 in P28, High Fashion (13, Success) - The Jackstar Union may be in shambles, but they still drive a hard bargain. Efforts to acquire a controlling share of all markets are finally successful and CEL begins to move ahead with a full economic takeover, planning to annex the region within a few years.
    • [Economy] Buyout TP1 in R26, Celenian Alloys (12, Success) - Economic sanctions for openly coordinating with ANE are swift. If WWE wants to build bases for pirates and terrorists, they can find a way to do so without metal.
    • [Diplomacy] Press Claim on P26 (18, Great Success!) - The xenophobic populace agrees readily to annexation on the premise that the Republic doesn't care enough to interfere in local affairs and will protect them from more hands-on alien rulers.

    Spoiler: The Marian Reforms
    Show
Once, Starfleet had been the sole arbiter of the Dawnstar Dominion, its wings the supreme internal power blocs, fraught with infighting and House corruption & influence. No longer.

Marius took to the bridge of the New Dawn once more..
"I stand before you all, vindicated. We live in a new order today, free of the shackles of the past. This is the greatest opportunity the 'Dominion has ever had to make something new and glorious, and I do not intend to let it slip through my fingers. First, I am proud to announce the death of the Dawnstar Dominion. Founded on slavery & oppression, war & terror, this state is no more. I did not purge the corruption & tyranny of the Houses to preside over the horror they served & created. No, I will join with all of you to make something better of this union of worlds we have formed together. Henceforth, I shall safeguard & lead the Federation of Free Systems.

Henceforth, the Sectors of this Federation will have their own say on internal affairs. Each sector shall self-administrate, providing resources for the upkeep of Starfleet in the interest of their own security. Every planet, every person, every sentient being, shall be represented justly in my eyes. Meanwhile, the beating heart of this new order is this ship - the New Dawn. I shall remain aboard, with the administrative staff required to hold this Federation together alongside me, as I lead us to greater heights than we have ever achieved.

To the Kazzari I say, your skills in engineering & racing, your tenacity, bravery & determination shall be celebrated & rewarded. To the Eris, those that bombarded your home have been ripped out of this Federation, and your exceptional talents shall be safeguarded & encouraged. To the Hsori, and the Ikosq'ka, I thank you for your wisdom in choosing to remain within this Federation. Your skills in bioengineering & broader sciences are applauded & recognised. I respect the Hsori charge to observe the stars. To the colonists of Dravidia, I say you shall not rebuild alone. This Federation will forge you a new home even as your despot Tusk led to your ruin. We are one, but we are many. From myriad lands we come. We share a dream, and sing with one voice as we proclaim the bright future of our unity.

Each Sector has chosen a commander, to advise myself as Custodian of this Federation. These commanders shall create their own internal routes to express grievances, but rest assured, if you speak out it shall be heard, and appropriately answered, for that you have my word. Starfleet is now a peacekeeping force. It goes where I direct, under the advice of the commanders, and shall be the righteous flame that safeguards us all. If there are those outside our glorious Federation that desire our protection, Starfleet shall provide. The galaxy will remember the mark we leave.

    Actions:
1 (Phil) Attempt conversion of X10 to Church of Rust [Fail]

The council at Haven remains in deadlock over the issue of the Federation's ideology, continuing their debates as the habitation spheres surrounding their discussions only grow, finally completed in full as 27 IE draws to a close. All that remains is for the congregation of intellectuals to finalise their decision.

    2 (Phil) Haven Station X10 [2/5]

    3 (Phil) Haven Station X10 [3/5]

    4 (Phil) Haven Station X10 [4/5]

5 (Phil) Declare Church of Rust as Stellar Ideology

While Haven deliberates & equivocates, Marius takes action, declaring the Church of Rust as the Federation's state ideology, bringing the FCO & FFS closer together, and sending increased representation for the CoR to the proceedings at Haven. While initially unsuccessful, the delegates are persistent, and Marius is certain it is only a matter of time.

    Spoiler: News & Rumours
    Show

In response to an influx of Grymlan travellers, Commander Elzobar Threeblink of Laria offers three moons to the settlers, welcoming them into Kazzari life, relishing the prospect of Gryman designs racing on Laria Prime. Commander Gill Bates of Triarii issues a similar welcome to the Grymlans, setting aside space on Dravidia & negotiating with Ikosq'kan representatives to permit Grymlans to enter their bioengineering spheres on Waiqu, a lush forest world. Eriador is silent on the issue, but ships entering the sector are quietly telekinetically turned away.

    'Scour the Bridge'.
Mindful of the threat of effective command, Federation strike squads lead daring strafing runs targeting the bridge of the opposing flagship, in a bid to cripple their command structure (chance of leader loss for enemies increased by 4)

    Spoiler: Active Units
    Show

Master's Force; The personal guard force of the standing Master. Remains within home territory 'cept in times of war, where they join the Master's grand fleet. Part of the Dawnguard wing, and commanded by Jack Ackar Silver, former Officer of the Dawnguard.
Redskull Squadron; Where Ravager Squadron fought for the 'Dominion forces during the Dreider wars, and thus emerged a heroic and vaunted unit, the Redskulls were the Dreider forces' most effective strike unit, often operating alone from forward bases to conduct lightning assaults on key command positions behind 'Dominion lines. The unit was composed of the most veteran pilots fighting for the Dreider, and were integral to the Dreider ability to continue to prosecute the wars. In one of the last actions of the Third Dreider War, their commanding officer of the time, Farus Velkor Ghorakka, could see the tide of the war had well and truly turned, and rather than obey orders to fight on until destroyed, he took the squadron and surrendered, refusing to fight against his former brethren. The 'Dominion airforce chose to incorporate the Redskulls into their ranks, on the condition they were never deployed against Dreider dissidents. Newly equipped with GLD, the squadron is composed of hardened veterans, and fights loosely in wings of three, each pilot trusting his companions beyond doubt, and is the most innovative fighter squadron in the Felhounds, in stark contrast to the tight, squadron wide formations once employed by Ravager Squadron, and most other squadrons within the Felhounds. Commanded by Bren Ghor.
1st Brigade, PsiCorps; PsiCorps is the newest wing within Starfleet, composed of Mindbreaker Eris from Eriador in U7. Eschewing starships, the Eris of the squadron possess forms largely biological in nature, living bio-craft fed and powered by energy extracted from ley line nexus on Eriador. These Eris have been trained for decades for combat, possessing frightening psionic power. Commanded by Gladien Bladed-One.
Furion Squadron; Freed from the shadow cast by Ravager Squadron, Furion has emerged as the most aggressive unit in Starfleet. The lead squadron of the Felhounds, Furion is composed of young, hungry hotshots, and while this often leads to arguments and tensions between pilots, their individual skill is a force to be reckoned with. The kings of the simulators during academy training, Furion pilots are eager to join the Great Crusade, and test their skills in proper combat. Commanded by Xixis Ilhith.

    Spoiler: Inactive/Lost Units
    Show

Grey Bulwark; The first squadron of 'the Line' equipped with GLD, the 'Bulwark is one of the oldest continuously operational squadrons in Starfleet, known for their complex, interlocking defensive formations, and possessing the fastest cruisers among the Wardens' forces. Dispatched to aid the Rothuun traditionalist claimant during their leadership squabbles, in line with Marius' policy of conservative containment.

Stalwart Shield; Refitted with the last major reserves of metal available to the fledgling Aurelian Order, the 'Shield is one of the Wardens' heavier squadrons, comprised of bulky, ponderously slow heavy cruisers. Using tractor beams to remain anchored in formation during battle, these armoured beasts are formidable weapons platforms. Heavily damaged in the attack on Hallion, the Shield were rapidly repaired by the Aurelian Order and sent back into the field as a bulwark. Damaged in the defence of Eriador, and dispatched to the Rothuun following the Civil War.

Blackheart Brigade; The Dreadfleet has never needed to operate outside 'Dominion subspace - until now. The successes in the Great Crusade have driven Marius to authorise the GLD-conversion of the Blackheart Brigade, the 'Dominion's secondary terror unit. Deployed to suppress dissidents and unrest, and used to house prisoners of all types, Blackheart follows primary invasion forces to ensure loyalty or displacement of the native, occupied population. Damaged during the Civil War, and transferred to the Rothuun after that conflict.

    Ravager Squadron
; The oldest and most decorated squadron in Starfleet, Ravager's Squadron Leaders were the most commonly elected to the position of Officer & Master. Such storied names as Aurelius, first Master of the Interstellar Era, back to Axton himself, led the Ravagers to glory on the battlefield. Lost with all hands on the Great Foray, the Ravagers banners remain on display in the Academy, a relic of the days the 'Dominion stood above all others.

Crimson Heart; Marius' personal flotilla of light cruisers, the only vessels to return from the Great Foray, credited with establishing the roots of vassalage within the neighbouring system of the pencilpushers. Lost in transit to defend their valiant allies in the SPR, the fate of the Crimson Heart remains unknown.

First Flight; The first squadron into space, First Flight scoured the stars in the days before the GLD was gifted to the 'Dominion, tirelessly mapping the Talvox system and surrounding sector, establishing peaceable relations with lesser races and remaining a beacon of hope that advanced life remained beyond our knowledge. Lost in battle against unknown foes during the Great Foray, First Flight remains a symbol of all exploration may gain for our great 'Dominion.

Shatter Squadron: The teeming mass of corvettes, crewed by the most inexperienced of Starfleet's recruits, is the breeding ground for competent non-nobility to rise to prominence. Unfortunately, this inexperience led Shatter to catastrophe as a routine navigation task delegated to a fresh-faced ensign went horribly awry, shooting the squadron into the heart of an exoplanet on their inaugural jump as part of the Great Foray.

While he is able to adapt with great difficulty, his NEEEERRDDD skills prove vital in achieving a basic understanding, even if the sources more subtle nuances are hard to grasp. After a few months he even tries to test suggestion powers on Dio to....varying degrees of success. Who knows maybe after enough practice he'll be able to avoid awkward conversations with his father about crystals.
    • Rumor has it that SPACE KING, feeling lonely, GLD's his ways into Korima's DMs, with offers of crystals and chill at one the greatest SPACE SAUNAs in Axiom, before this robot bashing really gets underway. Leaked transcripts indicate promises of hyper honey and flowers, but such reports are unverified

    - A New Order
The Kronin have become more and more invested in The SAME since Nozdak came to power and they have kept an eye on the events. When news of the SAME's invasion of the Hearth and how the former leader of the wardens went down fighting to protect his people and city, the nation earned the Kronin's full respect. Soon after this event, Nozdak learned from the wardens that the had similar warrior beliefs to the Kronin except they could use this faith to heighten their combat abilities and manipulate matter. After a while, the Wardens convinced Nozdak to send a small group of skilled Kronin warriors to go and study the faith. Nozdak agreed. Soon after the soldiers returned and shared their experiences the ideas began to catch on and the faith spread throughout the Kronin empire like wildfire. These troops trained in the faith have been organized into an elite group known as Embercleave. These troops have learned to wield a traditionally ceremonial Kronin weapon known as and Emberblade. Boring Mechanics Stuff

    The Lyraen Stellar Domain
Current Ruler: The Ascended One, Mish Lyrae

    Actions:
    1. [Military] Raise a Unit
In light of the coming revolution and the threat of once more finding themselves next to the Core, Lyrae commissions the creation of an auxiliary support fleet made of small, Skirmisher-class vessels.
    2. [Military] Send Proxos with the entire Lyraen fleet (6 units) to conquer support one of the local factions in V30 and set them up as the controlling government in the sector
The newly discovered region is full of warring factions, some of which have requested Lyraen aid against their enemies. In return for their entrance into the Lyraen Stellar Domain, we are happy to provide it.
      - Attacking with Elemental Implants, HEAT Engines, Energy Conversion Weaponry, and Capital Ship Hulls active.
      Proxos (7) + Units (6) + Tech (3) = 16
It TacDoc procs, that is another +3.
-1 to Loss Roll after the fact
    3. [Military] Construct the Solaris (1/2)
The Lyraen high command has noted that Lyrae herself does not have a suitable flagship for when she needs to personally go to war. This is swiftly rectified. Using some of the Celenian design philosophies, the beginning of the first true Lyraen battleship begins, named the Solaris.
    4. [Military] Construct the Solaris (2/2)
In recognition that a single ship, while intimidating, cannot do everything, the Solaris is outfitted with numerous hangars for holding support ships. THis includes fighter and bomber wings, the first time such things have really been used.
    5. [Intrigue] Continue Construction of the Lyraen Counter-Intelligence Agency in the Lyrae System [2/5] (U27)
With the threat of ALL hanging over their heads, the citizens of Lyrae II can rest easy knowing that Lyrae is taking public action to combat them.

    1. Lyrae declares that all Union ships, civilian or military, will be subject to search and potential seizure if the newly formed Lyraen Counter-Intelligence Bureau (formally called A.W.O.O.) finds evidence that they are in any way carrying supplies, weapons, or even board games headed for ALL.
    2. An official immigration treaty is now in effect with the Grymlans. The first to arrive are flooded with offers to join the various entertainment companies, but after the initial rush, they are better integrated into society.
    3. At the (carefully worded and tactfully put) advice of Proxos, Mish Lyrae has taken on a new project. Something that will relax her, allow her to be her usual, kind self again. With that in mind, she formally announces the adoption of Raff, an orphan left behind after the disastrous battle against the Same. She looks forward to raising a child once again.

    NPC Actions

    Core Patrol Corps
    Spoiler
    Show

[Diplomacy] Request a new Base in D14 - The importance of the sufficient supply lines and backline support in a time of Revolution is emphasized daily in CPC briefings to friends and allies in the fight against the Same. In accordance with this prioritization of a firm base network immune to the machinations of Caller AIs to rearrange the galaxy a request is sent to the Mier Formica to permit and possibly themselves begin construction of a new CPC training facility and base in one of their regions. A position near but not within the Formican capital is requested with initial priority given to development of a Patrolman Academy in Mier above one of the algae-rich planets native to the sector. (Request: MFM permit construction of/construct themselves a CPC base in D14. Reward: +1 Rep, +1 Favor for MFM to allocate. Expiration Date: Round 14)

[Military] Raise 1 Unit of Patrolmen - Dipanan survivors of the Sunbream betrayal are recruited into Core Patrol offering an outlet for their anger at the Sunbreams in struggle against the Same. While not all the survivors join the CPC ranks with nothing to return home to but the Sunbream Confederacy coup it is an opportunity that proves relatively popular among the common crewmen rescued from their Sunbream stranding who wish simply to serve in a stellar armada fighting against the dark forces of Axiom.

[Diplomacy] Offer aid to MFM's attack on the Core - The Mier Formica had prioritized spreading Realtaism over preparing for an assault against the Same and it showed when their fleet assembled to strike out into the Core. Patrolmen stationed in Formican space overseeing the construction of the newest CPC outpost urgently contact higher ups within the Patrol who in turn connect with Aptinoma. Patrolmen are offered at a premium rate to help close the technological gap between Formican and Same stellar navies. (Request: MFM accept 2 CPC Units equipped with EC Lances, Enhanced Microplating, & War Beasts join their invasion of I15. Reward: 2 Favors owed by MFM to CPC. Expiration Date: Round 13)

    Cosmic Couriers
    Spoiler
    Show

[Diplomacy] Establish an Embassy between OwO and TFT - Eager to indebt another stellar power to their services the Couriers abide by the Grymlan request to diplomatically link the Combine with the newfound Everlasting Dynasty of the First Tree. A rapid meet and greet between Couriers, Grymlans, and Raeth (representing the Thay) sees permits signed to begin construction of offworld habitats to host the two powers’ representatives. (Request: 2 Favors owed to CmC by OwO. Reward: Mediate Relations between OwO and TFT. Expiration Date: Round 13)

[Economy] Buyout P20 Ship Builders TP1 17 - Curious about the techniques employed by the shipwrights of sector P20 the Couriers toss investment into the region hoping to emerge with advanced starships for resale to the galaxy.

[Economy] Buyout T8 Thneedz TP2 19 - While the Union presented a surprisingly strong economic force in spite of their communistic view on markets and intergalactic trade much of their heartlands were sorely underdeveloped by the bureaucrats within Union's collectivist state. Specifically the Thneedz industry which had been largely ignored before, during, and after the Draaxeri attack on the producing region was ripe for economic expansion.

    An’Null’s Eradicators
    Spoiler
    Show

[Military] Purge Cloudysea (N30) LC of OwO 20 - Despite years of peaceful coexistence as neighbors, attempts to open dialogue regarding the exploration of uncharted space, and recent work to undermine OwO’s dominant competitor in the One the Grymlans have fallen to the Star League propaganda blaring across comm waves and decided to launch an assault against the nearby Eradicator base. Aware that the local base lacked the firepower to defend itself from assault by a Maturated, even the Grymlans, the local Commodore instead orders the dispatching of marauders to Combine space to terrorize and destroy the information infrastructure nodes in the region connecting the populace through OwO. If purging the One could not endear the Eradicators to the many desperate and struggling ideological rivals then perhaps all ideology needed to be purged from threatening Eradicator business.

[Military] Purge Dregisles (N32) LC of OwO 16 - Marauders spread out like a bloody red ooze escaping the wound being cut in O31 out across Combine space where they attack and slaughter any who appear responsible for maintaining the OwO nodes in Dregisles. Grymlan, Lopurnan, and human bodies pile up as the Eradicators seek to leave their own bruised and bleeding mark on the Combine as the Combine sought to leave their own upon the Eradicators.

[Military] Send 6 ANE Units to aid Wrath against Efficiency in exchange for two bases promised by WWE - Having quietly built their reputation with the Eradicators through association with well known Eradicator allies the Wardens at World’s End put out a sizable job posting for Eradicator mercenaries. Deciding aid in the great conflict with Caller AI Efficiency could help instill a sense of purpose for the galactic community to keep the Eradicators operational the existing Eradicator fleet is dispatched to jump into the warphole to Efficiency Ground opened by Wrath. The Shadow Admiral was also quite eager to collect the offered reward of two new Eradicator bases especially in anticipation of the Second Revolution offering the chance to hide their presence amongst the stars. (Request: WWE complete through any means necessary two new ANE bases. Reward: 6 ANE Units fight with Wrath against Efficiency, +1 Rep and +1 Favor per base, 3 Favors owed by WWE to ANE. Expiration Date: Round 13)

    2. [Diplomacy] Press a Philosophical Claim on Region L-26 17
    3. [Diplomacy] Press a Philosophical Claim on Region M-25 16
With a new Revolution imminent, the Star League reaches out to those nearby systems that had adopted the tenets of the Way of Tides. Fearful that separation from the Vilari Sodality would leave those populations vulnerable to more aggressive stellar powers, Vilari diplomats work to integrate the native systems of government with the Sodality Council and the Star League proper.
    4. [Diplomacy] Dispatch a civilian fleet to evacuate the Sheholu colony as well as any members of the Dipanan government seeking sanctuary
Brought to the brink of war by the coup in Dipanan space, only the threat of reprisal against the Federated Churches halts the Star League Defense Force. A week of tense communications with the Federated Churches ensue, and eventually the Vilari are swayed by the assurances of the Rass. Instead of a strike force, the Vilari dispatch a relief convoy to transfer the population of Sheholu wholesale into Vilari space, along with any members of the Dipanan government fearful of reprisal from their new overlords.
    5. [Military 10] Introduce new technology: Particle Wave Cannons (+2 Combat Rolls, Dark Matter/Energy Arcana and Coolant required
Scant years after the knowledge of Energy Conversion Weapons proliferated through the galaxy, the Vilari begin fielding a new weapon. Mounted along the spines of their cruisers, these cannons utilize the conversion effect of Same technology to power a focused beam of energized particles, fueled by the dark energy elements harvested from Tsalvan's asteroid belt. The resulting energy weapon is capable of rapidly atomizing even advanced microplating, and emits a lethal band of exotic radiation from any impact point. The ships themselves are fitted with an intricate cooling array, to prevent the rapid decay of the beam's containment system.
    6. [Military] Dispatch 3 units of the SLDF to aid Wrath, led by Fleet-Master Sildyr-Vos (Mil 9). Activate Enhanced Microplating and Energy Conversion Weaponry.
Though he had long planned for a strike against the Same, when word came of a potential solution to the problem of Efficiency Ground Sildyr-Vos was eager to answer. Dispatched with all the ships that could be spared, his Vilari fleet connects with the intergalactic force intent on drawing the mad Sentience out of the Beyond.

    News and Rumors
    • The Vilari are stunned by the actions of the Sunbream and the sudden collapse of the DIpanan government's power. Receiving calls for help both from the Dipanan and from their colonists in Dipanan space, the Sodality transmits a message to the new Sunbream leadership.
      Spoiler: The Message
      Show
      To the Confederated Jali,

It is not in our nature to interfere in the internal affairs of our neighbors. However, your betrayal of the Dipanan Collected Nations has undermined an affiliate of the Star League, and this we cannot ignore. While we sympathize with your desire for self-determination, your actions have traded implicit oppression for absolute tyranny. We implore you to reconsider your occupation of Dipanan Space, before this situation spirals out of control. Partnership with the wider galaxy has left you a mighty fleet and the technology to explore the galaxy - withdraw to your stellar seas, and taste the fruits of liberty absent the stain of despotism. The Revolution that fast approaches will divide you from those you considered oppressors, freeing you to chart a destiny unburdened by the past. Do this, free those who embraced Dipanan rule, and our quarrel ends. Continue on your path of domination, and we will have no choice but to liberate our allies.

      In hopes of peace,

      Speaker Ren-Kulto
    • The Sodality issues a formal condemnation of the Dream-Divers Church, both for their part in the Sunbream coup and in their continued part in the Sunbream Confederacy's oppression of the Dipanan. A series of irate transmissions are exchanged with the Federated Churches, at first to ascertain the status of the Dream-Divers in the wider Rass government and then to demand the sanction of the extremist faction.

    The Star League Charter

As the territories of matured species expand, and we confront growing threats from without and within, it is resolved that we gathered here affirm our principles. We, the people of the Star League, do make known these policies in hope for a brighter future for the galaxy.

    We Are Resolved

    • To defend the sovereign right of every species, organic or synthetic, to self-government, or to equitable representation as equal partners in greater galactic powers.
    • To safeguard, by that same principle, the rights of any lesser power when threatened by an outside aggressor.
    • To guarantee the sovereign borders of all member states, through diplomacy if possible, but if necessary through force of arms.

    Etherites
    Turn 13
    Ouren Dris'Thelle

    Actions:
    1. [Economy] Buyout of I31 TP 1 | TN 12 - Success
An exchange program is setup with the Mounties to assist in training more Mounties to help maintain their numbers and presence on planet while exporting their uniquely polite version of policing to the ETL.
    2. [Economy] E5 - Adjust F.L.E.X. Security to be able to use Mounties as a resource
With the discovery of the nearby Mounties, Etherite scientists were able to reapply the lessons of F.L.E.X Security to a more…practiced personnel schema.
    3. [Intrigue] Contribute to Gamma Axolotl effort (9/?)
Working with the Tezh to dig into the remaining ANE bases to help get a better handle on galactic piracy is only good practice.
    4. [Intrigue] Secret
Huh, I wonder how this button works?
    5. [Diplomacy] D10 - Declare Acquisition Paradigm a Permanent CI
The Acquisition Paradigm has become deeply rooted into the mindset for the Etherites and how they work in the galaxy. With aspects of it reaching into all parts of their society and out into the other members of the Trade League.
    6. [Diplomacy] Convince unit from Neutrals to assist Wrath | TN 14 - 20 - Success?
Etherite diplomats are sent to attempt to persuade some of the peoples to help with Wrath's cause asking to help not cause further strife and chaos in a galaxy under enough threat as it is.

    • There has been for some time a stirring and a rumbling since the Etherites were brought forth as part of the Maturated races, things challenging the philosophy and overall tenants of the Triarte. So many things close, so many things similar. One of the leading voices in this coming to a more unified purpose has been Pieter "The Teacher" Strasskovich. As part of the modernization of the University and find ways to best work with all of the members of not only the growing Etherite Trade League but also the Star League work has been done to ensure that the teachings of the Kitab-al-alcir and the Awakening that it provides still works when shifting away from the Triarte as a philosophy.
    • Preparations motions are put in place to be able to react to as many of the possible permutations of the upcoming revolution as is possible. Defense forces are spread out amongst the various areas of space, and civilian processes, learning, productivity and social are all put into a lock down mode. Come what may the pledge from Doge Dris'Thelle is to stand between the candle and the flame.

Strangely enough, the otherwise morally inflexible Realtaist church gives its permission to the Council to have large quantities of alcohol imported from Celestia Enterprises. This is seen by some as representative of a greater shift of church policy to align with state policy, which is not necessarily bad, considering the great empire of Caruflaith was halfway a theocracy. The lucky soldiers who have been assigned to patrol the trade route are inebriated almost all the time, but that is considered a small price to pay for satisfying the demands of Predator, who is expected to give a much greater gift in return, as is polite.
    2. [Economy 5]Increase Quantity: Yeather (X6)

    3. [Diplomacy]Claim Z2 2/2

    4. [Diplomacy 5]Create embassy with MFM
The unbreakable bond of friendship and loyalty between Realtaist nations is a proof of the superiority of the philosophy. In order to lubricate the relationship further, the Formican empress is surrounded by hundreds of Djinye advisors, priests, administrators and military officers to aid her in ruling such a large and diverse part of the galaxy. In particular, the Djinye take over managing the Empire's relationship with Predator and his semi-autonomous territory, making sure that no misunderstandings arise.
    5. [Military 5]Recruit General Pyre 8
After suddenly leaving to take care of whatever the visitor whispered to her, Pyre comes back, only partially satisfied. While she'd like to take it easy and just rule her not very organized band of rebels as she did before, she yields to Queen Lin's constant admonishment and takes charge of the National Front's military. While she is really not very good at coming up with strategies or taking care of the army's day-to-day needs, she seems to have grown even stronger during her absence, her plasma beam's destructive power now equal to that of about ten thousand regular soldiers in standard ship-to-ship combat. The Council also does everything they can to cast her as one of the greatest heroes that participated in overthrowing the Meritocracy, inspiring soldiers to follow her into battle, even if it means almost certain death.
    6. [Intrigue]Secret
Something's up. The military is very active, working day and night on some kind of construction...

    Wardens of World’s End
    Chief Deputy Warden Echo Umberto

    Actions:

    1. [MIL] Invade M17 with 10 Units (9 WWE and 1 CPC with EC Lances, War Beasts, Capital Ship Hulls, and Microplating Active [GLR Rank 4 TP's]) using Liege Score of 10 Military and sending Fire Lord Vix-Tal (Bending Light Style Tactical Doctrine and LC 10 Bonus to Tactical Manuevering) +23 Combat Score, -1 Friendly losses, +1 Enemy Losses.
The Fire Lord sends out one continuous transmission as he commands the Core Patrol in the Wardens first offensive push:
Burning fires burning lives on the long distant roads
Through the lost mountains endless so far away from home
Warrior soldiers forever we fought long ago
We're all lost in the darkness so far away from home
In the flames of Source we fire at will the fires of doom has come
With the forces of the blackest knights they're staring at the sun
Far across the distant plains of stars we're searching for the sword
When the time has come for the battle now we follow with the horde
We will ride with fire burning hot towards the night sky
In the land of long ago forever in our souls
Fly on wings of shining steel are burning so bright
In ancient lands of warriors we're riding on again
Burning fires burning lives on the long distant roads
Through the lost mountains endless so far away from home
Warrior soldiers forever we fought long ago
We're all lost in the darkness so far away from home

    2. [MIL] Rescue and Retrofit the Dipanan Ships in M17! (1/2)
Chief Deputy Warden Echo Umberto hears the cries of a battalion in righteous need. Literally and spiritually. The spark in his heart stirred into a burning fire he sets about convincing Masters of Flame and Shadow to embark on a seperate mission from the impending attack against the Same. While the Fire Lord sweeps in with blades blazing and lances firing the Dipanan soldiers and ships will be safely scuttled from the field and returned to Hearth. Fields of obfuscating shadow magic and dazzling flames providing cover for the heroic intervention. While they had ample scrap and skilled pyromancers to attempt surface level and hull repairs the finer details of ship construction eluded the Wardens and so Echo Umberto initiates his first extensive communique with the Star League. Unaffiliated with the past Deputy, Echo contacts the strange Church of Rust without fear of past interaction, and proposes hosting several of their engineers while they work on the fleet in Hearth.

    3. [MIL] Build One Unit for the KRO
The warrior diplomats of the Kronin forces across the stars is supplemented by a force of elite Source bourne knights wielding flaming swords. Embercleave.

    4. [MIL] Construct ANE Base in N6 Kamasati (1/3)
Among the ashes of dead gods and madmen a fortress of midnight livery rises like an obstinate crag or geode in the churning sea of Axiom. Eradicator Hopefuls across the north are contacted and conscripted for the effort. The ruins of Kamasati are repurposed for the living, the free, and the godless. It transmits with no subtlety and great fanfare:
    “Our stronghold lies in ruins.
    Our trials are ascendant.
    Our fate turns against us.
    Are we conquered?
    Never.”

    5. [INT] Construct ANE Base in O19 Cricalores (1/3)
Where once there was death there is now glory. Where the wound of the Same still oozes like a cracked infested sore the beginnings of an orbiting space station are found. Flame Hunters from Cricalores are contacted and given a variety of bounties for “information gathering” and “tool acquiring” until the outpost proper is completed. The vetted mercenaries look to the ANE with mixed opinions. On the one hand they were competition and yet on the other hand their hopefuls and associates were directly responsible for the liberation and triumphant defense of Cricalores. Some Flame Hunters openly join or affiliate with the ANE and a cabal of Source followers embed themselves in the region to act as intermediaries.

    6. [INT] SECRET ACTION
    Fly Casual
    Rolls

    Non-Actions:
Accept ANE Offer for assistance in battling the Revolution
Offer ITS a Fragment in exchange for assistance.

    News and Rumors:
    - Antich Heaventreader’s formerly gifted Guardian Kazu breaks its nearly three galactic year long vigil of solitude on Hearth in a surprise visit to the Core Patrol veteran Master Zasz Biroth. Pilot of the scavenged and retrofitted fighter “Sai-Lent Knight” Zasz Biroth was last reported leaving Hearth space to travel across the stars and breach Same lines with Droccen forces and Kazu at his back.
    - The Fire Lord is unreconcilable for three days as he crafts his war chant after Celenian Captain Constantine Relor commandeers the heart and flagship of the Core Patrol forces.
    - Former Spark to Antich Heaventreader, Shiv-Pa, hearthling of Warden space leaves her home to help tutor the young Space Prince Hotokie on the finer principals of Shadow and the Source. His fathers heart raged with an unconquerable flame but a more ephemeral edge lay before the path of the Knights Vacio.
    - The trial of UPT is by almost all voices in Warden space lauded as a joke. The Symbraum were a danger and a nuisance to the galaxy at large and themselves. Unrepentant and flagrant in their lust for chaos and destruction. Vainglorious pontifications on worth and ascendancy culminating in an act no more glorious than a hail of bullets. Chief Deputy Warden Echo Umberto observes the trial in hopes to witness his strange allies in the Geleans speak profoundly and is perturbed but not disappointed. It is clear to the Wardens of World’s End that no matter what the verdict the UPT will still continue it’s malicious streak.

    Rolls

Between her unexpected promotion to a much greater role than she'd accepted, the constant threat of the Same, and the chaos of the revolutions, Satyiin had barely been treading water keeping things in check. The news that Vanrr's advancing age and a recent illness were forcing him to step down from his role was the straw that broke the camel's back - his steady hand had been the one thing helping her keep the ship steady.

As such, it seemed pertinent a time to tender her own resignation, and gently transition to someone more prepared - she was an administrator, not a politician. Votes were cast, and while it was by no means unanimous, Zrexal emerged a clear winner. He was an unexpected choice, not least because at the start of proceedings he hadn't even been on the radar as a contender - the Vox-Vaniir was barely out of school, and greatly inexperienced compared to most of his rivals. Still, his passion and charisma was genuine - his speeches had contained a lot of how he remembered the Voxesier-Vaniir of his childhood, a place of corruption and sin, always living in fear of someone's random act of greed or cruelty, already transformed by Svaatyr into a place where he felt, if not quite relaxed yet, at least fairly safe walking home alone at night, and that was after such a short time. Such personal belief in what Svaatyr could offer (combined with a keen awareness of where he needed support) tipped things in his favour.

Meanwhile, the Crusader Corps were promoting themselves, though their chain of command was much simpler - 'Dhi'gva'graqi had initially drawn attention for his skill as a sniper, but had also risen after how well he'd stepped in after a commanding officer was killed in action. From there, his rise had been rapid, and strong showings in the fights against the Same had only furthered that.

That had been planned to be the end of the changes, were it not for Kaavrek. The Vox-Biityo was used to the public eye - as the first child to be born to different species parents in all of Svaatyr, attention had always been somewhat on him, and he'd chosen to thrive in it. Still, to walk up to the highest council of rulership in Svaatyr and simply ask for the job of Head of communications and outreach took some impressive gall, especially since he hadn't even finished school yet. Were it any other position (and had the current occupant reported in the last seven months), he would have been turned away. But with no one else wanting it, there seemed little to lose in at least letting him try.

It wasn't like the role really meant anything anyway.

    1. [Military 10] Permanent Mass Wave (1d5 on size/coalition losses) Tactical Doctrine - With the importance of sound tactical advantage being necessary against the Same threat now well established by encounters with the drones the Red Fleet ethos of "apply more ships to solve the problem" indoctrinated into the ranks under Chairman Vaou is permanently adopted under General Secretary Gates. The additional tactical coordination codifying some otherwise ad-hoc teachings and rules is hoped to aid the Union''s planned encounters with the Same to come post-Revolution ready to catch the blowback from the already scaled back Core push.
    2. [Economy] Buyout The Hundred Isle Nebula (F8) Exotic Seafood TP1 2d6+6 (Using TZH ZoI) - With the need to mobilize for war against the Same and in preparation for possible aggression by new neighbors higher caloric and nutritional values are emphasized among requisition bureaus. The House of Greens in the Hundred Isles Nebula is identified as one of the premiere provisioners of foodstuff and petitioned by the Union government through contacts in the Tezh Consensus to come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. While the Union did not utilize currency internally the government kept a store of foreign scrip acquired through trade and a fair yearly price in Conclave currency is offered for rights to import vast quantities of healthy kelp, seaweed, vegetables and algae of all sorts from the watery moons of the Nebula.
    3. [Economy] Buyout U9 Aeolaax TP1 from CmC 2d6+10 (Shared CI, LC 20) - While there was a lingering anti-Draax sentiment within Union the desire to heal these old wounds prompts economic outreach to the Supraterrans. Draaxerri Aeolaax was a potent craft of biology and floral engineering the small dark vine capable of growth and propagation with little water or UV light but outputting dozens of therms of O2 daily. The quasi-intelligent Mataeol plant native to Supraterra Prime was the only known source in the galaxy of Aeolaax and the desire to more intelligently engineer Red Fleet and civilian ships with organic air recycling systems sees the Union enter negotiations for a stake in the yearly Matraeol harvests.
    4. [Economy] Buyout T6 Crystal Skulls TP3 2d6+8 (LC 20) - With new technologies reliant on the quasi irrational mysticism of the arcane to fuel them Union seeks to regain a direct stake in the research being done in Crystal's Edge. Previous Union interests in the region had been diverted to the Rocthurhi in solidarity aiding with their struggles to attain gemstones for local industries but now the Union needed the macabre remnants of this dead civilization to fuel the energy conversion weapons introduced to the Maturated via the Same.
    5. [Economy] Buyout Yutov (E5) Living Fire Gemstones TP2 2d6+10 (LC 20, Shared CI) - With an influx of technology intended to combat the Same came the need to activate the more advanced modes of robot destruction. The Living Fire Gemstones of Yutov, capital of the Tezh Consensus, were perfect for the laser optics required by EC Lances and their name only gave them a stronger claim to the role. Union leans on its Symphonic understanding with the Tezh and quickly acquires a reliable export of the precision-cut gemstones.
    6. [Intrigue] Gamma Axolotl +1 Project - Siblings in the Tezh Consensus have requested Symphony aid in their pursuit of the Eradicators hoping to ferret them out of hiding to be destroyed.
    7. [Intrigue] Gamma Axolotl +1 Project - Equipment and personnel are diverted to the cause code-named Gamma Axolotl.

    Protection Division Head Jed K’bix

    Intrigue: 6

1 [DIPLOMACY 5] Change Current CI from Unseen Infiltrators (2d8 on Secret Actions) to Ministries of the Mind (2d8 on Conversions)

Given the existing insights offered by the increasing number of Nine Lights academies being opened in UPT space Trust training of subterfuge and secrecy originally emphasized by earlier administrations becomes redundant. To rectify and eliminate this needless redundancy the Trust seeks to emphasize the spread of these new teachings that replaced the old meshing the two cultural inclinations together in a mutually beneficial coexistence. The Trust would studiously train Nine Lights adherents who in turn would train the Trust in affairs of subtlety and information gathering. Together these two pillars of collecting knowledge would lift the Trust and its ideological allies in the Svaatyr Theocracy to newfound heights of comprehension.

2 [DIPLOMACY] Attend the Trial of Brez Y'ett

Heralded as the trial of the decade if not century the Trust was eager to watch their "former" leader and ideological guide face the charges pressed against him. While it was known the FCO objected to their terms the Trust and Brez had agreed that the Transcendence Head would accept full responsibility for the ascendancy of the Kamasati and triggering of the Second Revolution washing the proverbial hands of the other Symbraum responsible for the affairs of Brez's leadership clean. The fate of the Trust hung within this stellar courtroom, not least of which their fate as an independent or vassalized power, and as such the current UPT leader Jed K'bix watches from a secure private line as the trial plays out. Some claim Brez still puppetted affairs of state through the Protection Head but Jed's role within Trust service predated the Brez's rise to prominence and those close to the leader note his frustration with some of Brez's arguments to the galactic panel of judges.

    3 [INTRIGUE] Secret

Not all that occurs within UPT is known to those who seek to listen in.

4 [MILITARY] Raise 1 Unit of starships, Emergency Defense Force Two

While the Revolution would soon whisk the Symbraum away from that accursed wormhole which had threatened a flood of angry scavengers it was still seen as pertinent to prepare the Trust for the possibility of war. While Brez would exert his influence on the Revolution in favor of UPT it was impossible to predict what other changes might occur by Efficiency's hand. New starships are commissioned and produced at, for UPT at least, an unprecedented pace.

5 [MILITARY] Raise 1 Unit of starships, Emergency Defense Force Three

A Symbraum writer pens a compelling narrative which contrasts the "civilized" FCO who would condemn UPT for their quest for knowledge causing loss of life with the casualty reports of FCO's campaigns of territorial ambition. That the Symbraum were to be brought low and forced to dirty their hands with warfare, a disgusting practice they had earnestly hoped to avoid, is blamed not on UPT actions but by the interfering actions of outsiders objecting to pursuits of knowledge that cost lives even as their own hands were stained with war. While the novel is well received it has little impact on the scheduled production of another fleet of warships to defend the Trust from further aggression.

    ROLLS

    NON-ACTIONS
    • Cast four civilization shaking spells on the galaxy
      Spoiler
      Show

      • Spell 1: Place the Geleans away from the Core with no border touching Same-held space - The ability to use the Same as a threat to scare others into towing the line has served not only the Wardens but their earliest converts and now liege the Geleans. Eager to see how the Geleans fare without so easy a demonized enemy to point at Brez wills the great galactic imperial nexus to be flung far from the Core.
      • Spell 2: Place the Nyx adjacent to the Wardens - Quiet communications have been had between the Nyxian merchants and upper echelons of UPT leadership that results in Brez's casting the traders across space to land adjacent to the Wardens. While it was true the two powers shared a liege in the Gelean Emperor it appears there may be more at work in this movement behind the scenes.
      • Spell 3: Place the Vilari adjacent to the Rothuun - Having received petition from the Rothuun to evacuate them from the southeast and possessing of his own cruel sense of humor to match Efficiency's Brez uses one of his cosmic spells to fling the Rothuun over towards the Vilari. There could not be two greater opposites than these and the promise of greater interplay between them delights the Transcendence Head.
      • Spell 4: Place the Federated Churches adjacent to the Alysians - With the Rass fingered by UPT as responsible for the whole cavalcade Brez thinks long and hard on what must be done with the scaley little scavengers. Ultimately he decides to toss the FCO towards the Alysians, eagerly hoping the notoriously righteous and aggressive Assembly would take offense at the Rass pollution of their planets with scrap and garbage being saved for future projects. While UPT couldn't hope to orbitally bombard the Rass the Alysians had much better chances of success.

    • Make note that the GM Team allowed me to swap my needless war action last round to a non-mechanical Intrigue action for purposes of stat boosting.
    • Endorse conversion of E31 from Open to Nine Lights
    • Endorse conversion of F26 from Open to Nine Lights

    [4/7 UNITS]
    Emergency Defense Force One

    [GENERALS]

    [RUMORS]
    • Easily the single most powerful individual of the Maturated species Brez Y'ett is expected to survive the trial even should the judgment be death. Brez had seen beyond the veil. Opened the manifold possibilities and selected the one with his and UPT's best chance at success. If he died it would not be a death that lasted for the chronomancer psion had imprinted his will deeply upon the psyche of UPT. While his power was his own the effects of its unlocking would be felt for decades if not centuries to come. Many Symbraum now aspired to be the next great manipulator of timespace and to unlock further the secrets kept locked away by the Callers and their AIs.
    • The Axiomatic assault on Efficiency is unsurprising and yet further evidence Brez did the right thing in seeking to aid the Caller AI perform one final Revolution. The majority of the Maturated were scared species still too caught up in the meaningless trivialities carried with them as baggage from their earthbound existences to embrace true power to change their realities. Had they uncovered Efficiency alone they would have reacted the same as they did now, like primitives smashing their clubs against a priceless piece of incomprehensibly powerful technology left by the Callers to their successors. Far more a target of UPT venom and bile is the traitorous Wrath who has turned on his master and creator in favor of the brutish and largely hopeless Maturated. Had Wrath not opened his creator to destruction the means of Revolution could be studied further, used again with more refinement to better the galaxy's most worthy, but now it was doomed thanks to the actions of this traitor. Whatever legacy Wrath might have claimed from the Callers was disgraced. Still, with the overwhelming force amassing against knowledge and understanding UPT realizes trying to aid the beleaguered AI was a losing proposition and does not dispatch ships to aid in the defense of Efficiency Ground.
    • Grymlan immigrants are welcomed in UPT space, as all thinking creatures were. Obviously remaining unbound was surrendered as a presumed option but not every immigrant was met at the border with a waiting Symbraum. Those who wished to could no doubt make a life for themselves in Trust space with only minimal likelihood they had a Symbraum latch itself to their non-psionic brain.
    • WWE is condemned for inviting the Eradicators back into Corespace after they had previously been pushed to the rim and unknown regions even in light of Celenian objection. Yet more evidence of Warden disregard for their fellows except where it benefited them to use as a buffer against the Same. Hopefully next time the Wardens set off a dinner invitation to the Same lurking in the Core they would arrive with a more healthy appetite for destruction.

    The Undying Empire
Her Excellency, Jeniza Razahk, Regent of Amanyk and High Protector

    Actions:
    Rolls. Roll two...
1: [Intrigue] Search for the Library of Peace.
The removal of the Library of Peace from its Celestial prison is viewed as hilarious by the High Protector, but also most inconvenient. Though none expect that their investigation will be taken well, the Inquisition is dispatched to as near to the scene of the crime as they can so they can begin the hunt.

2: [Intrigue] Search for the Library of Truth.
There is little surprise that someone stole the Library of Truth from the Eradicators, though it is quite inconvenient. As such the Inquisition is forced to begin the process of scouring the galaxy, hunting down agents of the Eradicators and scanning for the tell tale signs of such relics.

    3: [Military] Sack I5 TP2.
The presence of Eradicators on Namhekara is met with shock and outrage. Though the Empire is committed to the relatively free exchange of commerce, the methods utilised by the Eradicators cannot be tolerated any more than the Eradicators themselves can be and so a swift and very armed response is organised. The Imperial Marines descend upon The Summerhome Bazaar, prepared to remove every Eradicator and drag them before the Courts.

4: [Military] Restoration of the Planetary Shield of Amanyk. [1/5]
Though combat did not quite reach the homeworld during the recent war, the forces of the Antillians got very close and the state of Amanyk's planetary defences are in a shocking state. The Great Shield in particular had been shattered long ago and until recently there was insufficient energy available to restore it. Now that the constant spectre of invasion hangs over them vast resources have been allocated to restoring the shield emitters and power infrastructure to keep them operational.

5: [Military 5] Tactical Doctrine: Imperial Monolith. +4 to battle rolls while defending after a successful tactical roll.
The greatest strength of the Imperial Navy has always been its defensive capabilities and recent events have only heightened the importance of this. To this end the command structure has been restructured to properly integrate the fleets of Amanyk's subject worlds and any and all planetary defence forces and installations such that the military might of the Undying Empire is as one seamless monolith in the face of any storm.

6: [Military 10] Military Technology: Phased Crystalline Emitter. +1 to battle rolls. Slot: Armour and Shields. Requirement: Scaranik Crystals.
The shielding technology in use by the Tal-Amanyn is sophisticated, but ancient and calibrated against long forgotten, inferior weapons systems. The recent conflict against the Antillians and the treacherous Kronin has more than indicated a need for improvements and so the crystalline emitters, built of Scaranik Crystals, on each ship of war have been reconfigured into a complex phased array, boosting the output and enabling them to more completely shield against novel forms of attack. This, however, has the downside that the crystals burn out at a greatly accelerated rate.

    Spoiler: News and Rumours
    Show
The Conclave of the Black Sun always had a relatively lax approach to immigration. Provided people were willing to follow the laws they were permitted to settle on their worlds. This policy has continued under the Undying Empire, though Antillians are now required to fill out a lot of forms and are forbidden from settling on Amanyk itself.
This of course means that Grymlans are permitted to move in *if* they behave themselves.

    Actions for Round 13 (Rolls)
    • [Intrigue] Investigate the theft of the Library of Peace (GLR) using Liege's INT score! (Roll: 14)
The Headmaster was very right to give the artifact extra protection on the way to the vault; not one, but two foreign bands of thieves struck out against it. It seems their cunning has left Celestia at a disadvantage - but with no shortage of clues, the hunt is on. Media outlets are abuzz with conspiracy theories and controversy, and Ziplock has to be extensively convinced not to bomb everyone suspected for the crime. The primary suspects are said to be the GLR (?), who receive the brunt of the investigation's attention due to more confident connection to the thieves that got away. Hopefully their people are more open to working with fellow humans, but there are no holds to be barred for a theft on this level. Halwell would much rather cause tension between their two peoples than risk losing this for good.
    • [Intrigue] SECRET. (Roll: 4) There are whispers on the wind of a coup to be had against the influence of Iteus on the Celestian Liege, the Syndrome.
    • [Philosophy] Convert W15 to Realtism! [Success]
Under the guidance of Halwell, it is hoped that all of Celestia will be united under a common ideology.
    • [Philosophy] Convert the Capital of Celestia Enterprises (X14, Celestia) to Realtism! [Success]
With the outer reaches of Celestia converting, it's only a matter of time.
    • [Diplomacy] Slander Iteus's Reputation with An'Null's Eradicators! (Roll: 9)
Surely if the thieves have the mind to steal such treasures, they have more to be taken. More to raid. Perhaps spreading some rumors could attract the attention of some hostile pirates. It would be rather cruel to have all those bases they're building turn against them...

    Non Actions:

    1. Host a concert to celebrate the Revolution! The Star Knight from Lyrae and Grymlan space come to visit Celestia and are granted the grandest venue on the planet, their concert to be broadcasted across the stars far and wide to bring some joy to this typically scary and uncertain period in time.
    2. Celestia Enterprises is officially attempting to get their liege to break ties with the Church of Iteus for their slight against Celestia, and thus the Syndrome itself. Their current leader is very confident in the idea that he 'cannot work under those who allow their allies to plunder the holdings of their subjects,' hopefully to inspire sanctions and reparations against the Church of Iteus - or in the more unfortunate case, to break vassalage in the near future.

    Round 13 - Galactic Dates 217524.0.0.81 - 217526.0.0.80

    Actions:
    1. [Philosophy]Convert E31 LC from Open to Church of Rust [Roll Result=23]
Given the clear lack of spiritual and moral integrity displayed by the former Head of the Unified Public Trust's Transcendance Division, their removal from said position, and their failure to guide the Symbraum on a moral and just path, it is patently obvious how very badly the Unified Public Trust was in need of spiritual guidance. Volunteers from throughout Federation-controlled space are found and helped direct their energies towards the Symbraum capital. Perhaps some fraction of the harm inflicted upon the galaxy by the shortsighted greed of Brez Y'ett could yet be mitigated. It was fortunate for this effort that the peculiar biochemistry of Rhoshan neurons made them effectively immune to Symbraum bonding - any attempt would almost certainly result in the deaths of both parties.

    2. [Philosophy]Convert K27 LC from Open to Church of Rust with Support [Roll Result=14]
The Rhoshan Churches are much displeased with the DreamDivers, as their meddling in the affairs of far-off powers is turned towards self-serving ends back on Rhosh - the influx of finances made available to the cult by way of their rapport with the Sunbream is no secret to the larger sects on Rhosh. In response to the urging of their Vilari allies, several Churches vote in favor of reprimanding the DreamDivers and confiscating many of the proceeds received by way of what some have begun calling arms dealing. The DreamDivers protest, and even receive unexpected support from the Church of the Illuminant Mind, and somewhat more expected support from the Church of the Balanced Edge, who believe the DreamDivers to have made mistakes only in not inquiring as thoroughly as they should have - the Sunbream Confederacy had been considered by the Dipanan to be a sovereign state which had up until these acts committed no great malfeasance.

    3. [Military]Rescue and Retrofit the Dipanan Ships in M17 2/2
When Echo Umberto makes contact with the Churches, he finds a people happy to receive him and provide aid in turn - the memories of old wounds and perceived slights overridden by guilt-wracked faithful. Many Church leaders feel partially responsible for having let one of their own cause such great loss, and when an opportunity arises to make right what was wrong, the Federated Churches are more than willing to fix what is broken. The Churches of the First Mentor, Highest Tower, and Blessed Mission volunteer foremost for the task, and it is not long before Warden vessels are carrying back Rhoshan void-salvage crews, including the Absolute-class recovery vessel Promise of Exoneration and it's attendant fleet of drones and engineers. More scaffold than ship, it serves amply for it's intended purpose, given the comparatively intact status of the Dipanan fleet, and their contemporary technology. The captain of the vessel, Feminine-Messenger LightBearer of Three and Twelve Enlightenments, even ends up taking a mutual liking to the Deputy Warden and meeting with a number of Source ministers, eventually changing her Church-Name to BlackLit and officially filing to create the Church of the Midnight Torch.

    4. [Diplomacy]Claim W19 2/2
The Daisy Dukes make up the newest addition to the regions governed by the Federated Churches, now beginning to struggle under a system in need of restructuring to handle the administrative burden...

    5. [Diplomacy]Attend Trial of Brez Y'ett as Prosecution/Plaintiff
The criminal known as Brez Y'ett must be dealt with swiftly and with appropriate severity as befits their crimes. If there is justice, so too will the government that enabled their atrocities be held accountable for it's responsibility in encouraging and financing the monstrous actions in their administration's history.

    [Nonactions]

    Spoiler: News and Rumours
    Show

    • Grief is the principle word to describe the response of the Federated Churches to the tragedy of the False Ascension, as some have taken to calling the actions of Brez Y'ett and their effects on the Spiral Dancers and Kamasati in particular. Grief...and righteous fury. It is fortunate indeed that the Unified Public Trust were able to secure the protection of the Ninurtine Empire, as it is certain that mere demilitarization and sanctions would not satisfy the call for retribution now reverberating across the waters of Rhosh. It wounds the soul and burns the mind to imagine such calamity inflicted so callously.
    • This same reaction is directed towards the now-defunct Dawnstar Dominion, whose decision to bombard the homeworld of the Eris, whose delegate had recently met with God-Speaker Androgynous-Delicate-Festival in the presence of Damnos, the Most Wise, has strained relations with the newly titled Custodian Marius Nox. Hoping to ascertain the nature of this new government, and ensure such tragedies cannot occur again, the Federated Churches' representatives on Talvox makes careful but firmly worded inquiries to Custodian Nox as to the willingness of the Federation of Free System's willingness to host theological advisors to help guide the fledgling government in this time of struggle, and are gratified to see the willingness of the Custodian to host such.
    • Though the presence of the strangely hostile Church of Iteus makes establishing rapport difficult, the resident OI of Sanctum provides aid to the Federated Churches, and after about a year and a half, the remaining Sanctified and the newly arisen Profaned - so named for their not-unjustified sentiments of having been denied their right to the technology and quality of life made available to Sanctum residents at their expense, and their disdain for the lofty ideology of the Sanctified that allowed this behavior to continue for so long - both decide on representatives to convene and discuss terms, with Rhoshan oversight and adjudication, concerning the future of the region and some form of co-existence without the constant hostility and violence that has characterized their interactions up to this point.
    • AgedGloryHill makes careful probes into the possibility of networking a consciousness among the Sunbream, and continues to hold discussions and speak to any Sunbreams curious about the nature, type, and (to the Sunbream, at least) strange behaviors of ‘spirits’ – a term the captain has found useful for conveying the concepts of organized sapients at scales other than ‘ship’. Despite what these diplomatic forays may imply, those who know the captain well are keenly aware of his concerns - and his hopes. The Sunbream coup is simultaneously exhilarating and terrifying; it seemed they had achieved success beyond anything they'd hoped for, or anticipated.
    • The DreamDivers have been providing not only the installation of Gravity Latch Drives, but access to Energy Conversion weaponry as well, in return for the furnishing of wrecks, technology samples, and raw materials. This access, and particularly the favor shown by the new Sunbream Confederacy now in control of spatial traffic, has led to an influx of resources that have streamed back to DreamDiver congregations on Rhosh. Particular among these are materials from the Spacific vesseloid creatures known as BroadOars to the Sunbream, whose carcasses the Confederacy have provided in ample supply as reward for the DreamDiver's services.
