    1:[DIPLOMACY] Establish diplomatic claim on 05 FAILURE This advanced non-electronic race of treeriders is contacted through their weak (untrained level 1 empath capable psychic connection) By a dozen Kuuru who have traveled through one of their various space faring vessals. They inform the race they are capable of lifting their species into the stars and that should they integrate into the pantheon. One day they too can be gods! This leads to failure and an insult from one on the planets surface...

    2:[MILITARY] Equip 1 Prator Prator Bavilaska A noble psionic practitioner who is said to create a battleform that exemplifies their spiritual truth it is said to be a large being with a hundred arms that when they touch their enemy is instantly put to sleep. These arms can extend and move through most surfaces. He has been equipped with the meditation room. A ship that encases the body and protects him so he can focus on the movement of these tendril arms.

    3:[MILITARY] Equip 1 Prator Prator Piaspa He creates dozens of himself and is strong enough to tear through steel. He has been brought into the battlefield without equipment as nothing fits such a bizarre ability. He is perfect for space combat.

    4:[MILITARY] Invade the Platinum Ogres of N4 with 3 units and Prator Qain + 11 Their anti psionic beliefs is in direct conflict with the ideals of the gods! This young pantheon does not realize they separate themselves from the empathic truth of the universe. The Kamasati look to save this race from itself and so a force of gods is sent to bring down their military and integrate them into the pantheon as dreamers while also removing this anti psychic mindset. Prator Xazap the flesh-eater is viewed as one of the few Kamasati who has a "sinister" air. Many call him the god of death as he is known to summon a wave which peels flesh and muscle from bone leaving nothing but skeletal remains. This Prator is sent to fight the ogres as this race is viewed as more dangerous to the Kamasati and so they wield this prator (with MANY reservations.) He is warned that should he release his attacks on civilians he will be punished and banished for 50 years.

    5:[MILITARY] Invade O5 with 3 units and the High Dreamer Xasarath + 11 The breakdown of diplomatic overtures leads to an insult between the high dreamer and a high ranking member of the pantheon of this planet, it leads to blows and he abandons his cause on O7 to instead focus on the ruler of O5. The Prators are a little disconcerted by their high dreamer acting in such a way but the whims of gods are not always altruistic and selfishness exists even among those who shape the world.

    Dream Children News
    Mount Vispim- We watch the Dream children of Moigan from on high. The first large villages are starting to appear across the surface of the planet. We count 102 locations with more than 500 residents. We are proud of our children and we keep our whispers to a minimal for now as they are incapable of understanding yet.

    Addendum:
    No major change. They have built a temple of uncut rock where they place nourishment they sorely need for themselves. We inform them they must consume it themselves in our whispers and think of us while they do so. It will forge a connection. We really just didn't want them wasting food. Starvation remains a problem.

    Mount Kdoim- We weep for the Xawaq. They have experianced many wars in the past but this is the largest and we hear them dying in our minds. It is painful to know that they are too young and misinterpret the will of our words. When we speak to them in their minds it makes them believe they are even more righteous and that they must be right. Currently 3 nations are embroiled in constant conflict... We know we must not interfere but it hurts us so to hear their minds scream. They did nothing with the whispers coming from our dreamers. Such is the way. We will continue to watch.

    The war continues. The war might soon end one race has adapted a new technology proving effective... They fire large arrows via an item they call a ballista. It is carving through their own kind and creating fear.

    Mount Opaiz-
    The sonics are a fascinating young race and Kamsati have established their mount and begun to create myths. With the organization of the faith they will completely envelop this young race completely and help them slowly crawl toward elevation into dreamers themselves one day.

    Currently they are peaceful though a small war brews between themselves and another faction on the planets surface. More information needed.

    • With the conclusion of the First Council of Aspirants information on the Core Region O13 is revealed - "[Great] resource of Undefined, an Open learning center, and one unit of v0.04 drones! O13 cannot be diplomatically claimed!"
    • The Combine denounces the action of the Powers of the Uplift Chorus for interfering with legitimate Combine business by colluding with the SoS to curtail Grymlan, along with other Powers bordering the Core, exploration into the Core through threats of interference and the denial of important information, along with denial of access to the dissemination of said information. If it were not for the political fallout stemming from their actions against the SoS being discovered then it is highly unlikely that information of the "Same" would have come to light and it raises questions as to what other information and plots the Chorus has yet to reveal.
    • In light of heated rhetoric at the Council of Aspirant's Landing, the Corporation of the Combine achieved a majority vote to suspend investigations into exploring the region of space known as O15 till a later date.
    • The scientist of the Combine are frustrated with the operation of Inspiration 6. Testing the prototype navigation system alongside the improved GLD has thrown strange and confusing errors. 87.43% of the time it works fine, but the other 12.57% it glitches out showing the ship as simultaneously at both the origin and destination points at the same time, leaving from the origin point, or in some other part of space all together. Frustrating, but interesting.

      Corporations of the Combine

      The government of the Grymlan Combine consists of several corporations that both coordinate with, and against, each other in deciding how the efforts of the Grymlan people are applied. The Corporations are patrons and financial backers to research, production, and distribution groups typically within a certain field of Grymlan life and their internal structure represents the same general structure of the Combine at large.

      As such, Leadership among the Grymlans is based on election, with canidates chosen both on their stance with the indivdual corperation and the needs of the Grymlan people as a whole. Unsurprisingly, corruption is not uncommon among Grymlans leaders. Corruption is expected by the general populace as long as it has reasonable limits. Leaders are expected to have their own personal projects they're working on as long as they meet the needs of the Grymlan people. Given the inquisitive nature of Grymlans as a whole, an the high profile nature of the leadership, Grymlan politicians tend to have Cat and Mouse games between themselves that the populace tends to keep abreast of as a form of entertainment. Should such a leader be deemed insufficent, whether by incompetence, corruption, or changing needs of the people, they can be voted out of their position by the Corporations under them (though the state in which they are voted out might dictate the terms of their severance).

      Some Corporations of the Combine.
      • Foodstuff Solutions: Headed by Abrigal Dirtpaw, Foodstuff Solutions represents many agricultural interests in the Combine. Their farms provide food to feed the Grymlan people as well as providing other materials to the other Corporations. Their labs work to improve existing crops while at the same time they are always on the look out for new potential products to grow and experiment with.
      • Max Zappyzap Projections: Lead by Dhaka Sparkthrower, Max Zappyzap Projections is the closest thing the Grymlans have to a security Corporation. In prior years they were an arms manufacturer who designed energy casters for Grymlan ships to protect them against space debris. They also did research into high energy release weapons that largely went unused (I mean of course you gotta set one off just to make sure it works, we didn't need that asteroid anyways) but did result in research with Arclight Power that provided the primary fission reactors that provide power to the Grymlan's cities and ships. Nowadays they serve as one of the military minded corporations expanding the Grymlan's knowledge of tactics and equipment as they are exposed to new races.
      • Arclight Power: Lead by Dayton Voltzap, Arclight Power serves the Grymlan's ever-growing need for power. They are the formost researchers in high energy fields and often looking for new elements or ways to use them alongside Max Zappyzap Projections.
      • Fluffyshine Grooming: Headed by Celise Dyedye, Fluffyshine Grooming provides cosmetics and grooming supplies to the Grymlans. Proper grooming, especially of their tails, is considered a necessity by the Grymlan populace. In addition Grymlans enjoy expressing themselves in a wide array of colors both in clothing and hair dye. Fluffyshine Grooming is the leader in what is new and chic by melding technology with fashion.
      • Farseeker Enterprise: Lead by Trevan Longhaul, Farseeker Enterprise focuses not only on exploratory sensors and shipping, but they also serve the Grymlan Combine with transporting goods between population centers. While they were not the designers of the Darkship concept, they have been diligently improving it, focusing on the ships abilities to operate on long haul deployments and improving on thruster designs.
      • Infrastructure Craftmakers: Lead by Bruk Dynacraft, Infrastructure Craftmakers maintains the infrastructure of Grymlan life whether it be the heat resistant domes of Wratheye or the various space stations orbiting the Cloudysea expanse. They support endeavors to build faster, cheaper, and more adaptable among hostile environments.
      • Truthytruth Communications: Lead by Leelee Sweettounge, Truthytruth Communications deals with data and communications between the Grymlan people and works alongside OwO, and they also host many news and entertainment channels.
      • Feelgood Incorperated: Lead by Vera Tailsnug, Feelgood Incorperated serves the healthcare needs of the Grymlans. The work to constantly push the boundaries of medicine and scientific enhancement.
      • Fringe Science Go!: Headed by Wexel Weirdlight, Fringe Sceince Go! explores theoretical scientific fields such as magic and psionics. With the introduction of aliens with these abilities they have seen a resurgance as of late.

The Tezh are interested in the true details of events and plan to pursue them because what is being suggested so far is 'categorically incorrect', but the Tezh otherwise seem unphased by the bit of cloak and dagger flap being pointed their way. Riss is on record as saying 'to any moron who believes this pathetic drivel frame job, We have an infinitely rich alternate universe to sell you in this otherwise worthless pearl'.
    • After years of the Galactic North-East members of the Uplift Chorus having had a successful and respectful informal agreement with the Dawnstar Dominion, all stellar powers involved in the region have agreed to a formally recorded treaty, with a discussion panel to be reconvene at regular periods to reaffirm or update the agreement as needed.
    • Celestia Enterprises arrived on Yutov inquiring about the Living Fire Gemstones that the Stozudal crafters have developed a prestigious reputation for. They expressed an interest in acquiring an ongoing trade arrangement and received approval from the Consensus leadership, a council of both Tezh and Stozudal.
    • The entity known as 'Wrath' challenged the beings gathered at the Glitterhome Gala to come find it, and so they shall. The Consensus suspects that this is not one entity but many based on the dialogue that was had; they have some ideas on where to look and so begin to explicitly search with the intelligence they have gathered.

Wielding the threat of invasion the former Commander in the Gelean Navy, currently styled Grand Admiral of the Nyxian mercenary fleet, Xavier Bonaparte simultaneously informs Lord Domino and Fleet Admiral Elizabeth his self proclamation as Gelean Emperor. Backed by the significant forces under his command Xavier demands recognition as ruler over the demesne currently administered by the Gelean Republic and Guild Empire, to be restyled to not offend the Emperor's claim. Lord Domino publicly proclaims his intentions to withdraw payments to the troops immediately but appears suspiciously slow to actually do so and does push through the renaming of the Guilds to a more "modern" name Guild Enterprises. Unlike SPACE KING, "Emperor" Bonaparte does not demand Elizabeth or Domino's heads but does demand to rule the capital and for Elizabeth to formally step down and recognize him as her sovereign.

Acquiring stakes in Tiny Cats was a high Guild Enterprises priority. The Nyx were eager to acquire a stake in the Tiny Cats including their own patented breeding plans before the Kombuch showed up and started sporing everything in sight.
    3. [Economy] Buyout Cloudysea (P14) Grymlans Farseeker Corps TP 2 18 - With deals on travel to the Grymlan Combine systems so good it practically made it a crime not to take advantage of them Nyxian merchants are dispatched to make contact with the Farseeker Corps there. The Grymlans had reached out to the Nyxians some years back with an interest in importing Voidstone, a deal the Nyxians were fully intending to honor. In exchange the Grymlans had promised some of their best fixrig specialists would participate in residencies in Nyx space. With travel costs at an all time low thanks to the attention brought by Proxos's Roaming Star miniseries this deal is completed from the Nyxian side and the Combine is invited to close out their half of the arrangement at their convenience.
    4. [Economy] Buyout M3 Pocket Gold TP 1 14 - The locals of galactic sector M3 were perceived to be something of idealist rubes. To accept the Kamasati as the gods they presented themselves as was rather foolish and naive. Of course, naive rubes were just the kinds of people the Nyxians loved to do business with! Merchants are dispatched to the sector to acquire a stake in the region's "pocket gold" believing perhaps the locals have enhanced the already enthralling luster of gold to new heights.
    5. [Economy] Buyout M5 Sonic Hedgehogs TP 1 16 - While a majority of Nyxian attention was paid to the Tiny Cats more astute investors sought to corner an alternative market in the pet industry, or perhaps a service industry if these Sonic Hedgehogs were as intelligent as the Kamasati claimed. The industrious Sonic Hedgehogs receive contract offers to conduct their services, whatever they were, in Nyxian space.

    • The formation of the Gelean Empire, however small it may have been, is celebrated by many in the upper echelons of the Guild. Xavier Bonaparte may not have been the sharpest mind in the galaxy but with him and now the Eradicators there to stir up trouble there would likely be plenty of opportunity for profit. Lord Domino seeks to collaborate with the Emperor on his goals, hopeful his role as sponsor and incubator to his grand rise will grant him a place of trust and honor within the new regime.
    • The Nyxian Merchant Prince of Helia has begun to question just what exactly he and his fellow Merchants intend to do with their accruing wealth. While mercilessly mocked in most mainstream publications the Prince ponders about the possibility of service to a greater cause than profit, one that might allow the Nyx to reach out into the stars and make their own discoveries rather than merely profit off that which less risk adverse species uncovered.

    • Captain Sumina brings news of a lifeless region, though also that the region was being explored by their friendly neighbors, the Ndoda. Messages are quickly dispatched with hopes of negotiating a mutually beneficial deal for the rights to build a station in the region.
    • NDA has agreed to cede station build rights in F20 in exchange for an alliance pact and the rights to scout the region for anything of value.
    • Disturbed by the news that their beloved Guardians are being used as manual labor, Droccen looks into what can be done to curtail such activity in the future.
    • Impressed that the adventurous Ndoda have already set up a system to safely harvest and export the carnivorous fly traps, Droccen works to stabilize the region for both the traders, and future tourist ventures.
    • Despite not having a free-flowing source of fly traps streaming in, still they trickle in to those who can afford the fees. Some are kept in large pots as a sort of exatic pet/house plant and the Droccen elite soon start hosting house parties to feature the beautiful songs of the fly traps. The dangerous plants are easily rendered docile by throwing a sheet over their heads. It is also discovered that fly traps are a bit of a culinary delicacy, though can be poisonous of prepared incorrectly.
    • Incensed by the cowardly agents smearing their good names with the Sisterhood, the perpetrators are widely regarded as "Bored haters" with "Nothing better to do with their time" on Droccen social media.
    • The Droccen Imperium has been approached by their new neighbors the MFM to sign a treaty in the interest of peace. Empress Sai happily does so and adds them to Droccen's growing list of Space Friends.

While ships with Celestian representatives were sent and communication went remarkably well with the native people's stellar representatives, the local economy proved to be too resilient to start mass exporting their native resource across the entire galaxy. The challenge, however, was still passed, and now there lies a hall in the richest parts of Celestia whose walls are lined with living fire.

      There goes a saying in Celestia: Poor work is better than no work. Willing to give the JFU units next to no money nor benefits, the only reason these ships have come to work for Celestia Enterprises is because it beats no work at all... And the core worlds have some rocking pubs. It won't take long for them to negotiate a better contract, but for the moment the representatives sent to make the deal are feeling remarkably proud of themselves for buying a veteran fleet on a caveman's budget.
    • [Military] Conquer I19 with two units lead by General Ziplock! (Mil8)
      Ziplock was given authority over the company's military force, and from the moment it took over it has not been idle. The mercenary fleet and planetary guard move to assert their dominance in a nearby region of space, cutting off a potential border between their two neighbors and placing themselves against the core. Mittens requests that he be very gentle with any natives in the region, to which Ziplock replies with a reassuring 'OK.'
    • [Military] Raise a unit!
      Ziplock raises an army of AI fighters around the now absent space where the black hole was generated. They're heavily armed, loyal only to him, and generally a bit too close for the comfort of most civilians. Mittens has Ziplock build a big space station around them so that people worry less by not being able to see them, which actually works quite well.

    1. Natascha is billions of credits in debt. She has lost the entirety of her personal wealth and hosted a massive, incredible party on a budget she no longer controls. After nearly dying from a heart-attack she is imprisoned, pending sentence. Apparently Mittens had a lawyer contact her some time later, and has whisked her off to some remote corner of the galaxy far from Celestia Corp... Her debt is taken care of in only three hours post imprisonment.
    2. Diplomacy with the Rothuun Minotaurs happens for the first time at the Gala. The diplomats are well researched on their customs and attempt their best to replicate them, but the terror in their eyes as the other race huffs during the negotiations is unmistakable. Regardless, the trade goes over well! Their military might for Celestia Enterprises's economic tactics. Brilliant.



    Spoiler: The rise of Mittens

    Retiring in Celestia Enterprises is celebrated as the most momentous occasion in one’s life. The celebration of success to be where you are, to commemorate the struggle and hard work that brought you there, and to remember the good and bad times had within the corporate society. The bigger the retirement plan, the bigger the party, after which the accumulated stocks are put into a hyper-secure cleansing account to be sold off over the many years of the individual’s remaining life while still affording them the privilege of having access to gated regions based on accumulated status via their stocks. Importantly, stocks in the cleansing account no longer contribute to an individual’s placement among the company’s leadership.

    Natascha had one hell of a retirement party as the single richest individual in Celestia Corp, whose party was celebrated through the three remaining core worlds and funded entirely by her own hand. The eighteen hour period was given off to most non-essential workers. It went well. Very well. And at the end of it all, Natascha finally and formally was to translate all of her stocks to the purification account. The first half of the stocks were already ready to go. Despite the vast collection of funds she possessed, there was more she held unknown to the public. The other half of them resided on a backup account she had made for her cat, Mittens, some few years ago when she needed to influence a vote as a benefactor who was not herself.

    She has not technically seen Mittens for some time, having given him away to a Droccen celebrity that had earned her affection. His account was simply to be transferred back into her’s and have the stocks sold as part of her retirement plan, which she approved without much thought. ...But to her surprise, the transfer would not go through, and a sinking feeling dug through her chest.

    Mittens had stumbled into a wonderful opportunity when Natascha had attempted to cheat her own system. If he were just a cat there would be very little he could do with such a thing, but ever since the first galactic meeting was held between stellar powers by the Caller’s remnant AI, he had become so much more. A mere brush against the Harmony had brought him sentence and desires. Intelligence rivalling or surpassing mortal life; the patience of a timeless being with the anonymity of a common pet. Through Korima and Natascha he had seen the functions of these new worlds, the best and worst of common folk, and with Ziplock he conspired to rule them. All that needed to be done was a simple reverse on a single transaction, which was bread and butter for an all powerful AI. Ziplock had of course been promised a major hand in deciding the future of Celestia - not only as their military minded war machine, but an ally of the new CEO, who would have a hand not only in how battles are fought, but also why.

    Being a cat, Mittens could not make his own announcement as the new leader of the company, so instead spoke through an experimental text to speech devise that was also linked to the same Harmonic hive mind as him. His first words were to his owner Korima, thanking her for the care and hospitality on stream before admitting that he felt rather personally indebted to her for her services. He explained that he was needed elsewhere, but would see her again; gathering his favourite toy on his back and taking a cab that had been paid enough not to ask questions back to his new office.

    Celestia got the official news a day later, and Ziplock ensured that any doubt was quickly obliterated despite the sorrow of their new pacifist leader. But a deal was a deal, after all. Let the AI do as it pleases.

    Curled up in a black leather chair atop the tallest, most luxurious building in Celestia Corp, Mittens receives a cat-sized keyboard from his secretary, and begins to get to work.

    With godlike wealth in his left paw, and the wisdom of a million minds in his right, Mittens is known henceforth as the Lucky Cat.

    The work of the Conclave under the leadership of Azric Rey-Vandriss had been a great success. The borders of their territory had expanded considerably, many new friends and allies had been made and priceless treasures gathered for the glory of Amanyk. There were even mutterings among many in the Conclave, including the Viceroy, that perhaps it was time to end the Age of the Black Sun and reawaken the Undying Sovereign from her slumber.
    But then nothing. The talk went silent and was ignored.
    Instead the Viceroy announced a series of legal reforms on Amanyk to grant more effective recognition of local autonomy and legal codes before retiring. In the months it took for the Conclave to select his replacement a series of official ceremonies and festivals were held across the territories and protectorates of the Conclave before at last, Saldizan Rey-Zansharak is named four hundred and twelfth Viceroy of the Undying Sovereign.

    2: [Diplomacy 5] Create Embassy with the Kombuch.
    The former Viceroy has been dispatched to the homeworld of the Kombuch to oversee a permanent embassy located there. Many find it odd that so prominent a member of the Conclave is given a position so far from Amanyk, but the now Lord Ambassador Azric makes no comment as he departs as soon as his duties on Amanyk are complete.

    3: [Diplomacy] Send an Inquest into Region G7. Success.
    Both the Boundless Horizon and the Viridian Sunset are dispatched into the only adjacent sector to Amanyk that remains uncharted. It is hoped that this final expedition will be a success so that the Conclave may finally secure its borders on all fronts.

    4: [Military] Raise one unit.
    With the new flood of energy resources available to the industries of Amanyk the forges are fired up and an entirely brand new battlecruiser is built. Though it lacks the sophisticated technologies available in past ages, it is still a formidable vessel and the delay in naming the vessel confuses many until it is made apparent the ship is meant as a gift for a foreign power.

    1. [Military] Raise a Unit Volunteers are recruited and ships constructed to send to help the Casrule movement in their war effort. The first group of ships sent is 5 "Pot" class warships armed with the Vapor-Misplacement guns the Casrule have continually failed to secure economically. Unsure of what fighting is likely to be like on the ground, volunteers are given full environmental armor.

    2. [Military] Raise a Unit Volunteers are plentiful, with many less wealthy Dipanans eager to meet an alien species in person, and just as many eager to fight for democracy. The second group of ships is a group of the somewhat outdated Shield class cruisers armed solely with railguns.

    3. [Intrigue] Secret Yauloa constructs their first national military space vessel, using a new prototype of their invention. The Aloha is a "sabaton" class vessel boasting almost nonexistent armor, a very small battery of nuclear missiles, and a profile designed for the three key attributes of "speed, speed, and speed". Shortly after the vessel is completed, it is apparently deployed, but nobody seems to know where.

    4. [Diplomacy] Establish Claim to Region N28. Roll 14 Although original negotiations were unsuccessful due in part to a lack of understanding of the Sunbreams' culture and idioms, the collected council approves a motion to send another delegation to seek permission to colonize unpeopled worlds in the space of N27.

    5. [Diplomacy] Inquest region L29. Roll 9 Drawing the ire of much of the council for their frivolous use of resources in wartime, Shabalu funds a national fleet to explore region L29. In the resulting debates, Shabalu points out that their alien contact ships would be of little use in planetary defense anyway.

    Alien Forces attempt raid on Dipanan Food Shipping, Collector Bingula backtracks on "Peaceful Alien Relations" policy goals!
    Following recent news that the One High Maxim has begun targeting vessels shipping food to and from the colonies, Collector Bingula reversed her stance against the militant policies of her predecessor Collector Ngila, stating that while she believes that a lasting peace is possible with the Kryptids, she "will not lie down and roll over while alien forces prey upon the lifeblood of the colonial system," calling upon Dipanans to consider their "obligations to their democracy and their brothers and sisters in the colonies." Following her speech, recruitment for the volunteer Casrule forces jumped 30% within 24 hours.

    Alien Invasion Not Imminent
    According to professor Fadan Mbika at the Shabalu institute of political theory, the raids on Dipanan shipping by Kryptid forces are not indicative of any plans to invade Dipanan space in the near future. Citing the One High Maxim's need for food and the current situation of the Kryptids' protracted civil war, he and other experts agree that while the attack does represent "hostility towards Dipanans, it is not the front wave of an invasion fleet." This public statement comes a day after a mass panic in the Calisan capitol caused the injury of 12 people when a crowd of civilians became convinced that an unidentified flying object (later confirmed to be a cloud) was a Kryptid warship, leading to a stampede.

    Collector Bingula most popular Collector since Ungibwe the Second
    Following the attacks on food shipments in the Dipanan systems, Surveys show that Collector Bingula has an extremely high approval rating among inhabitants of most Katarsa nations, but that her approval was lower in the colonies, where experts suggest people are concerned by the ability of the administration to fend off alien threats. According to Professor Fadan Mbika at the Shabalu Institute of Political Theory, wartime leaders generally benefited from large popularity boosts before the establishment of Poledela and the Collected Council.

    Red Metal Hoops useful for Photovoltaic Power
    Shabalu Jali Fa Kin alleges that the red metal loops of the "Hoop Breach" are in fact powerful lenses that can bend light using gravity, predicting the first solar station operational within the next 2 years.

    Bingula Declines to comment on Dipanan Implication in Sisterhood Data Leaks
    The Collector's office declined to comment on the Sisterhood of Silence's accusations that Dipanan secret agents had been trying to obscure the culprit of the data theft. Past Collector Ngile only gave one blurb before refusing to say any more: "What we did was for the Safety of the Frontier". So far no especially plausible motives for the executive's involvement have been found.

    [Intrigue] Investigate the Sisterhood Data Breach - The Mother Superior is disturbed and upset by the theft of data from Sisterhood monasteries and grows suspicious of just about every Stellar Power whose involvement was indicated by the plethora of information discovered in the wake of the breach. Where once she had believed it was only the Rothuun and Geleans who held such open contempt for the order's goals now many more are revealed, or potentially revealed, as wolves in sheep's clothing. The directive to all monasteries from on high is investigation into this breach. No one is above suspicion, not the Uplift Chorus, not the Melfynians, and certainly not any of the already identified collaborators of the thief such as the Dipanan Collected Nations and Svaatyr Theocracy. While the Mother Superior wishes to trust in the UC who themselves followed the One, and certainly evidence suggested they were the targets of a frame job and coverup rather than the culprits, there was simply too many moving parts to be sure and recent developments had led some within the Sisterhood to suspect the Tezh as new head of the One were overly eager to distance themselves from the Sisterhood. Likewise the Melfynians had been eager to ingratiate themselves with the Sisterhood but the number of slanderous rumors circulating about their true ends made trust difficult. A thorough internal investigation was clearly warranted and would be conducted to the fullest extent of Sisterhood capabilities.

    [Intrigue] Investigate Woe - Once more a mysterious three armed stranger had made a showing at a gathering of Axiom's Stellar Powers and once more warnings had been spoken in cryptic rhyme. With the Duenem and Houser's permission the Sisterhood launches an investigation into the origin and purpose of this new figure. If Woe was connected to the Jester, as many postulated, it was likely she came from the same mysterious location as the Jester which the SoS believed to be the Beyond. The active involvement of figures possessing advanced Caller technology seemingly acting on the behalf of a patron who acted as their access point to this power was disturbing on many levels. While there was a great deal of other matters which demanded Sisterhood attention they were committed to providing Axiom's powers with whatever information they could uncover about these mysterious figures who kept popping up at the most inconvenient times.

    [Intrigue] Investigate the validity of Syndrome Claims - With the Syndrome reaching out to befriend the Sisterhood and their reputation tarnished by association with the Rothuun the Order seeks to gain a greater understanding of the secretive and manipulative Syndrome to gauge who they were dealing with. An inquiry is launched into their recent spate of unverified claims, notably in regards to galactic sector T18. While political dirt wasn't the Sisterhood's primary venue for concern it was important to know who one was doing business with and the full extent of their methodology. Whether the claims were legitimate or illegitimate would be unlikely to effect the Sisterhood's view of the Syndrome, though this may not be true for other Stellar Powers, but it would give the Sisterhood a clearer view of their would be partners.

    [Diplomacy] Mediate Relations between CEL and GLR - At the request of their ally the Eye of the Horizon the Couriers dispatch their senior most ambassadors across Axiom to the Gelean Empire and Celenian Republic. With the permission of the two stellar powers formal networks for diplomatic communication are set up between them at Courier expense to be recouped by Eye of the Horizon repayment. This mass expenditure of resources and absence of individuals from their regular Courier duties would be a burden but the Eye were expected to prove their reliability in repaying the debt in a timely manner. (EHZ spends 1 Rep and takes on 2 Favors as debt to activate CmC Mediate Relations special action establishing an Embassy between CEL and GLR. EHZ must take a non-action recognizing this expenditure, GLR & CEL must each take non-actions allowing the CmC to establish an Embassy between them.)

    The massive secret fleet sent to the Kryptids could turn the tide for the One High Maxim just when so many thought the Casrule were practically assured victory. The Eradicators sent to fight in this massive civil war are considered chosen by An'null as their combat and death are expected to serve the great purpose in a way no Eradicator yet has in the modern age.

    [Military] Send Eradicator Fleet to join the Rothuun - The minotaurs had given the Eradicators access to one side of the Core while the Geleans had given them access to the other. While the Rothuun were still proving themselves worthy allies the Eradicators were eager to offer the minotaurs their requested reinforcements in spite of the newness of their relationship. Commodore Voight personally oversees the training and assignment of Eradicator fleets at Nephret Hotel eager to join the Urthuun in her planned assault. (2 Units sent to RMT for 1 Favor owed. Units last until the end of Round 8.)

    [Military] Recon L12 with 5 Units - The Core has remained shrouded by the Sisterhood's mysticism and secrets for too long! Now is the Age of the End and the Eradicators shall be its heralds! From their new base in the Aurora System the Eradicator mass their ships not out on loan to their many customers throughout the cosmos and launch a reconnaissance mission into the Core promising to share their findings with the entirety of the galaxy, unlike the Sisters. They were assured not to fail and should the Core actually have some form of danger it would be quickly dispatched by the deadly pirate fleet massing at the border.

    In a quiet interior chamber of Morning Bloom monastery, the new Morning Bloom monastery, Abbess Renice waited for the invited representatives of SPR, Tezh, the Rocthurhi, and the Drocc to arrive. Renice was a Gray similar in appearance to Gertrude who had attended the Simulacrum and for those unfamiliar with the distinguishing characteristics of their race no doubt nearly identical except for the slightly more embellished vestments of her habit marking her as Abbess of a monastery. She stood at the head of an oval table inset with display screens in front of the available chairs. The walls of the room were a cool steel with little in the way of embellishment, a sharp contrast to the bright halls the arriving representatives would travel through on their way to the chamber which sported murals, One symbology, and all manner of artistic expression that was invited and fostered by the Sisters during their free hours. There certainly were many more free hours at Morning Bloom now that it no longer stood vigil by the Core.

    The guests entered all together, having been kept comfortable in a waiting area nearer the exterior until they had each arrived and been escorted to meet with the Abbess. Her large completely black eyes passed over their faces with a cool appraisal as they took their positions within the room. Once everyone had arrived and the guest’s escorts had exited the chamber and closed the door behind them Renice began to speak.
    “Thank you for coming. I know for many of you this is not the first time we have met. I wish to thank each of your governments again for the aid they have been to the Sisterhood and this monastery specifically. Without you I do not doubt we would have ended up as our sisters from Ascendant Aurora did, destroyed by fearful ignorance and paranoia. You have been patient and trusting with the Sisterhood and this should be rewarded with trust in return.”

    “We know the galaxy’s many new ascendant powers wish to divine what lays within the Core despite our warnings that it holds nothing but suffering and pain and the ample availability of less contentious space to be explored and claimed but the Sisterhood has not divulged more. Perhaps this close lippedness is to our own detriment but we have never sought to deceive or cruelly manipulate our fellow galactic denizens. We believe in the unifying Oneness that the Tezh have taken up to lead in this new galactic age and have ourselves abided by its tenets for over ten millennia.”

    Renice paused the three fingers of each of her hands interlacing as she sought her next words carefully.
    “You each know the teachings of the One and this is no great surprise for in the last great unified age of Axiom its tenets were spoken of and spread far and wide. This was before the Sisterhood, before many of your nations even existed much less in the form they do now. The message of belonging and common cause was near universal reaching many disparate and unique lifeforms. However, this reach meant there were those within the galaxy who twisted the peaceful intent in their minds and came to conclusions both jarring and frightening.”

    “A movement began within the One to promote not merely Oneness, but Sameness. A great artificial mind was created to guide this project, an AI to rival the ancient Caller AIs made by more modern hands. Once activated this mind deduced that for all to be equal as one and the same it must rule the galaxy and to that end began to produce weapons and warriors that were extensions of itself. The galaxy faced an armada of replicating repairing machines and in this crucible the Matriarch of what would become the Sisterhood of Silence arose leading a mighty crusade against this terrible mind and managing through her eternal sacrifice to lock away this monstrosity within the Core. Still these drones and weapons are produced with intent for total conquest but they are divided amongst each other and corralled by our order’s vigil.”
    “At least, they were before Guardian sought to fulfill its creators directives through the dissemination of GLD and maturation of our modern Axiom. Now we fear what may escape from the borders of the Core with Geleans and Rothuun tearing holes in our vigil. We have tried to fight these broken remnants in centuries long past, to permanently end what our founder had long delayed but defeating a portion only strengthens the whole. We have accepted containment is the most viable option for enduring peace and safety of the galaxy but it is clear to us others do not accept our advice as unbiased or well meaning. We hope as allies within the One’s embrace you shall receive our warnings with the gravity they deserve.”
    "Of course, this information is shared with discretion understood. We cannot imagine the destruction that might be wrought by a stellar power foolhardy enough to believe they could control these weapons for their own ends, especially if the Same were clever enough to deceive them. There is no control of this self-replicating war machine only containment or destruction and destruction has remained non-viable for over a millennia. Perhaps in time we may come together with the means to destroy this threat but for now we seek only the means to maintain the containment we have enacted and enforced for the duration of our order."

After she finishes the pulsing turns into a rippling back and forth between all the motes as each takes prominence for a period, eventually they all settle into a smooth glow again and the Speaker for the Consensus responds.

    "We thank you for sharing this information Abbess, it does much to address questions that were formed during the Simulacrum but were not answered. Unfortunately it also raises many others:

    The blue mote glows more prominently for a few moments "You mention that it was 'a great artificial mind', ' an AI to rival the ancient Caller AI's made by more modern hands' - can you elaborate, please: Were the creators of this project direct Caller descendants or a different Elevated Sibling?"

    Yellow fluoresces next "What is the status of this entity now? A biological example would be a collection of social creatures that go 'wild' and lose their social order when a leader or organizer is removed, but this is a highly unusual situation for a distributed construct like an AI to experience."

    Red then flares intensely "It seems odd that in a situation where engagements only strengthen your opponent, that said opponent has not pressed this advantage to complete a task that was apparently a top priority. With full respect to the efforts and sacrifices of the Sisters, We struggle to understand how the Vigil has succeeded at all in this situation."

    Renice nodded at the Consensus Speaker’s questions before answering.

    “We do not know who created it, only that it was created in the name of Oneness but quickly overwhelmed its creators to carry out the purpose prescribed to it in the fashion it saw fit to do so. It is unlikely the creators were themselves Callers or descendants of the ancient progenitors but whether or not they were inspired or guided by Caller technology is impossible to say. As to your other questions, I believe they are answered entirely with a greater explanation of our Matriarch’s sacrifice and undoing of the threat posed to the entire galaxy.”

    “Our most hallowed records do not describe the details in full by which it was done but we know the Matriarch’s sacrifice split the mind of this all consuming AI. Its goals of conquest and assimilation were replicated many times over with slight variations to ensure no resolution could be found between them. The ‘leader’ as you say still exists, it is both leader and soldiers alike in its unique configuration, but exists no longer as a single unified force but many competing forces each aspiring towards the same goal accomplished independently. The many ‘versions’ created by our Matriarch’s sacrifice are as willing to fight each other as they are to test our vigil’s strength and we have long managed to stand strong enough that they are pushed back into the pit of conflict amongst themselves than to test our defenses and risk being undermined and consumed by one of their competitors. That is unfortunately no longer the case and should one of these versions come to independent supremacy against its replicated siblings it shall no longer have this sphere of dominance to consider and shall no doubt return to its original goal of enforced Sameness for all of Axiom.”

    "Enough to fill the Core. We historically have interacted primarily with those near the edge which touch our vigil but there are more deeper within. At least twenty are known to us but we have no definitive knowledge of the total number of versions."

    "I mean the absence of two of our bases from their place around the Core. Already the Geleans have faced what can only be an excursion by one of the versions outside the Core to gather previously unattainable resources to use to their advantage over their 'siblings' and with that they may find themselves propelled forward with momentum enough to overtake their compatriots. Prior to Guardian's Maturation the versions and our order existed in a stable stasis locked in place. With the destruction of Ascendant Aurora and evacuation of Morning Bloom this balance is upset and we cannot know what this will mean going forward."

    "It was never our intention to keep these secrets forever. It has been a scant decade since Guardian maturated the many denizens of Axiom and in that time we have learned who can and who cannot be trusted. We speak to four of you now who have proven yourselves trustworthy, entrusting you to treat this information with the caution it merits. Perhaps we were mistaken to keep this hidden as our secrecy has condemned our order in the eyes of the Geleans and Rothuun regardless but our quorums leading up to the dispatching of Gertrude to the Simulacrum concluded the danger in advertising what might foolishly be perceived as a prize to be won rather than a foe to be contained and perhaps eventually destroyed outweighed the danger of keeping this matter unknown to the newly maturated species."

    Renice unlaced her fingers and laid them on the table hunched in a tired almost defeated posture.

    "There were also fears that knowledge of the Same's association with the One would only damage the ideology we all here share in the eyes of the uninitiated. We may all recognize what the Same seeks is anathema to our beliefs but we could not, and even still cannot, know that others would be so understanding. We are not omnipotent, we needed time to make our measures of Guardian's chosen subjects for maturation. I cannot promise everything we have done was for the best but I can say with certainty we sought to do what we believed was best at the time."
    "The Maturation is an event unprecedented in all of our recorded histories. Galactic Empires have risen before, even multiples congruent with one another, but always slowly along more predictable vectors that allowed for a proper introduction of our vigil only when necessary and the calibration of shared knowledge to accommodate the circumstances. We did not know who could be trusted with what knowledge at the Simulacrum and shared as much as we felt we safely could. Clearly this was not enough and now we share more with those who have shown allegiance with our own goals of protection and promotion of life."

    "While we strongly disagree with some of the actions taken across the stretch of time that since the threat was initially born, what is done is done and We are not here to cast reproach. It will undoubtedly be true that others among the Elevated Siblings will use the Same's existence to cast One ideology as dangerous, but the ones to do that are going to be those that already harbor such aggression for anything not of their own making. It is more likely that the effort at secrecy will be perceived as a wish to avoid culpability for the presence of the Same, and that the efforts made by the Mute Matriarch were the actions of a creator throwing their out of control work into disarray. Regardless, We think many among the newly maturated will be able to either understand the possibility or directly relate to such a creation, risk, and event taking place."

    The Aether Stone's light is soft as They pause, all the motes pulsing as one slowly before Talotius' choral voice asks the implied question "Is that a correct interpretation: that the Sisterhood as they existed 10,000 cycles ago are the creators of 'an AI to rival the ancient Caller AIs made by more modern hands'?"
    "There may be scorn for trying to hide it, but being the one to reveal such information about yourself rather than having the light cast on it by another is nearly always the preferable eventuality. While it may not endear Our Elevated Siblings to One ideology, the honesty may very well win you allies in maintaining the vigil or perhaps even mounting overwhelming forces to storm the core and apply a permanent solution - whether that means obliterating AI physicality or repeating and surpassing the Matriarch's actions by reprogramming enough of the AI factions to turn the tide entirely."

    "We will honor the Sisterhood's request for secrecy, but with this many disparate groups turning their eyes coreward we do not believe the secret will last long. We advise that Sisterhood prepare for the backlash and release this information to all. No matter what may come, We wish to preserve the life of all Siblings in Axiom and will do Our utmost on their behalf."

    Renice shook her head slowly and her thin lipless mouth grew taught with a worried expression.

    "I do not know who created the Same, only that they followed the One. The Sisterhood did not exist until the Matriarch rallied together those who would fight against the Same's encroaching upon galactic takeover and it has existed in her memory ever since. Perhaps the Mother Superior knows more but she remains embedded deep within our most holy and well protected sanctuary acting to direct and guide as well as weather the worst of the Core's dangers so that others need not."

    "If you all wish to share this information it is yours as much as it is ours now to share. I do not believe it is wise to tell the greedy and foolish of what lies within and encourage you to keep this secret yourselves as we intend to but we cannot compel any of you in action and if the wise Consensus Leader finds themselves in disagreement with our quorum they may choose their own path and reveal all they have now learned."

    • The SPR formally denies allegations made against themselves and their fellows in the Uplift Chorus regarding the data breach regarding the Core. To accentuate this fact the minutes from a private meeting between the SPR, Tezh, Rocthurhi, the Droccen and the Sisterhood of Silence are released which include details about the Core. Why would the members of the Chorus be involved in some scheme to steal data the Sisterhood voluntarily gave them? It was a ridiculous affront and it is hoped the Sisterhood will discover and reveal the truth through their investigation.
    • A hostile power to the north was certainly something to be concerned with on top of suspected Eradicator activity in the area. Nevertheless diplomatic missions to scout this area are approved by the Central Committee as the SPR lacked the investigative fortitude of other stellar powers.
    • Jerry Gates, protege of the departed Chairman Vaou has risen quickly in his political career becoming the Chairman of Borealis' MAC and holding positions of senior leadership in Red Fleet/Central Committee advisory boards. Many suspect the rising star will make a challenge for the Chairman of the Central Committee despite Patricia Tats' short tenure. The opportunist Tats is said to be preparing to meet this challenge with political appointments intended to favor herself and further weaken Red Fleet influence in domestic politics.

    1 [DIPLOMACY] Establish Claim on D8 Success

    The assault by an unknown power which decimated the Sheerest Reverie Sleeper defenses demands a response. UPT seeks to offer military and political aid and integration between the two Pantheons taking advantage of this newfound threat to bury any remaining animosity lingering from Director Zal M'ell's attempts at subterfuge. While UPT could spend the time and resources researching who exactly was behind the attack or trying to equip the Sleepers with sufficient means to hold them off again it was deemed more expedient to bring them under UPT federated protection. The Sleepers are offered a unique arrangement within UPT political structure as the Symbraum did not wish to try and subjugate such powerful minds as they had the Catarin or the sea folk of Atilon. The Sleepers are to be recognized as a semi-independent entity with three votes equivalent to Divisional Head authority to allocate in a manner appropriate to Sleeper culture. This would give the Sleepers nearly one third control of the Division Head Commission, the highest authority in in UPT who appointed lower Commission Directors to the role of cosmic representative. Furthermore the internal governance of the Sheerest Reverie system would be retained by the Sleepers with only minor concessions on matters of defense being the responsibility of UPT and the reservation of a cache of their Black Sapphires for study by the Symbraum.

    2 [DIPLOMACY] Subjugate the Great Serpent of Melfynus +1 Project (3/5)

    The Symbraum have recently been contacted by the Kombuch regarding cooperation on resolving the Serpent Problem on the Melfynian homeworld. The two psychic symbiosis-based species had exchanged limited data in the past recorded from their observations of interactions with host species which had prompted a curiosity regarding a mutually hosting organism. With the notion of a multi-Symbraum bonding having been decisively disproven by Symbraum research this new alternative of Kombuch/Symbraum/Serpent bonding offers a fresh chance to lend multiple cooperating minds towards the single task of bringing the Serpent under more civilized control. UPT research suggests the Serpent was not an intelligent creature but it was more advanced than many sea creatures in its comprehension of its surroundings and abilities. If this spark of intellect could be shepherded and trained by more disciplined minds it could not only be rendered harmless to the Melfynian people it could in fact prove to be an asset. The Symbraum present on the Melfynian homeworld begin preparations to bond one of their own, a Transcendence Division mystic of great renown Jev I'tet, with the Melfynian Serpent while the Kombuch are invited to implant a colony alongside to help both of their bonding attempts with the massive creature.

    3 [DIPLOMACY] Stabilize Atilon (D6) Success

    The underwater denizens of Atilon, as the planet is found to be named, are placated with reassurances that UPT intended to uplift and enlighten them in this new age of Gravity Latch Drives and heightened stellar activity by alien species. The fact that the Symbraum were a naturally aquatic species and were slowly colonizing the world's frozen oceans and bonding with natives is ignored. When prominent Atilo politicians and influencers begin to espouse UPT propaganda it is heralded as acceptance of the truth and those that question this or accuse the Symbraum of infiltrating the culture and implanting their thoughts into the minds of locals either disappear or find their minds suddenly change after a visit by a representative from Foreign Relations Division.

    4 [DIPLOMACY 5] Establish CI: Unseen Infiltrators (2d8 when rolling Secret Actions)

    The Symbraum were already well familiar with the arts of subterfuge, infiltration, and information manipulation and dissemination so while it had taken some years to adjust these lessons to the new cosmic scale presented rather than manipulating less advanced species it was no great surprise UPT had been observing and learning the rules of the new interstellar game of cloak and dagger. Doubtless most if not all of UPT's fellow stellar powers looked upon them with distrust if not outright disdain and their actions building towards excellence in espionage would not endear them but with nothing to lose UPT leadership was determined to take full advantage of their race's capabilities and strengths. If a stellar power found UPT untrustworthy in the wake of new protocols designed to enhance formal acts of infiltration and espionage being instituted there was no great amount of trust to be lost while there was much to gain from excelling in what many suspected they were already masters of.

    5 [DIPLOMACY] Press Claim on E3 Great Success 1/1

    A cabal of rebellious youths has been organized to overthrow the Demon Peter's tyranny in sector E3. A formal declaration of war would be too risky but UPT doesn't shy away from sending food, medicine, and "other supplies" which just so happened to disassemble and reassemble as weapons with proper knowledge to this rebel group in the hopes of overthrowing the Demon who captured and enslaved them. The presence of a real organized force pushing back against Peter and the broadcasting of the AI's location in the system draws additional attention from locals who had experienced the loss of a child or loved one to the machinations of the synthetic monster growing the movement. The UPT do not shy away from taking credit for these actions against this Demon, confident the pressure exerted by the rebels will prevent retaliation into current UPT space.

    • The word of Rhigas Don resonates throughout the Churches, and theology grows only more fierce
    • A divide amongst the the learned: The Students of the First Learned One, more commonly known as the SecondLearnt, has schismed recently, with the revelations of Rhigas Don. Some amongst them, decried as 'Archaeologians' by their opponents, see the god as affirming that the wonder and splendors of Creation and Divinity are to be found by exploring and uncovering the remnants of past civilizations. Others, oft-labeled with the moniker 'Contrivanist', believe that the Revered One's messages are meant to push the Rass to build off of the wisdom of the past by striving to understand through testing and experimentation the principles learned and practiced by those civilizations long lost to time.
    • NewCreation Speakers rail and rant about the unfortunate but unavoidable side effects of the Churches' recovery of ancient relics from the seafloor. It seems their beliefs extend even to those organisms infesting the sacred vessels, and they demand an immediate halt on all salvaging operations. This is considered and dismissed by the Convocation, as it is each time the NewCreationists bring it up. If the Reefs could survive the Event, they can survive some precision dredging, after all.
    • News of the Same shakes many to their core. The ancients, it seems, created their own God indeed, a Great and Terrible One whose apocalyptic intent had to be staved off by sacrifice to divide the entity against itself. Churches and individuals alike often find themselves divided on the issue; many find a newfound respect for the Sisterhood, as their duty is a sacred and holy one indeed, even if they fail to understand the true nature of Divinity. Others see this as evidence against The One's construction of the Divine, and indeed attempt to use such as reasoning for why those nations following The One are dangerous, both for the fact that it was from that faith that this calamity spawned, and the fact that this information was concealed. A few even start to claim that The Same are the strongest Gods of all, and that to deny them the right to make the entirety of the universe Divine through the defiance of their Will is impious. Fortunately, most of those who espouse these beliefs come to their senses relatively quickly; it has been a trying and exhilarating time, but discourse on the nature of faith, as always, sets us more closely upon a righteous path.
    • Finally, the sectors surrounding Mrosan space can be explored! A trio of ships are pulled from the depths, poorly structured if they were intended to contain organic life, but with relatively intact autonomous systems. Ordained Intelligences born in the stars have their blessings sought and their counsel considered during the process of repairing the ships, and a skeleton crew of Rass and and OI to maintain the vessels selected. They will be the first Ordained Vessels, controlled primarily by divine will, with Rass acting first and foremost as servants. Other vessels have borne gods upon them, of course, even gods whose forms occupied that of the vessels themselves, but their influence was limited to counsel, blessing, and miracles as negotiated by the crew and god together. It is a bold new step into an era never before possible; already Rhigas Don's instructions have had their merit proven beyond doubt.
    • Discourses Upon The Nature of Chance: The Creation of Luck and You, an anthology of debates and arguments between two prominent scholars Masculine-Summerstorm and Androgynous-Truefaith about gambling, has become quite popular among certain circles in Mrosa. This has, among other things, persuaded a sect of the rapidly growing CalledUpon church to petition for a mission to be sent to observe and learn from the most prominent places of such in the known Galaxy. It doesn't take long for certain members of other congregations to request the same upon hearing of the potential; soon enough, a ship, refurbished explicitly to enable it's members to become accustomed to the customs of the culture they will soon be immersed in mid-travel. The Role of Paradise, derisively called the "Roll A Pair Of Dice" by critics, launches in record time for a project of the size and cost involved, thanks in large part due to the often personal oversight of Convocation members who attended to every detail of it's development, from amenities to accomodations.

Fire Lord Vix Tal arrives at the Sphere and graciously offers to train any volunteers. A class volunteers and some specifically created by the Mother for this task train with him for the duration of his stay.

    With a Civil War amongst the Kryptids brewing in the South and an existential threat of an army of killer robots swarming to the North the time for Fire and Smoke has come. Antich Heaventreader works to integrate the exiled Lord amongst the people of Hearth and ensure his allegiance to their military forays in the future with the pledge that the Voice shall do all in his power to see that justice and righteousness prevail this day. Mighty warriors are needed in Hearth, beyond just the Masters and their Sparks, and while no move has been made to convert Lord Hops he has been given open access to many religious ceremonies or rites that would otherwise be considered too sacred for outsiders to observe.

    Utilising his connection with fellow human civilizations to the south, Antich Heaventreader finalizes a set of deals with the Celenian Republic to ensure his peoples needs are met and so the bonds of words may be sealed with action. He stops by briefly "The Soul of Man" to deliver a speech that is recorded for dissemination back at Hearth a few months later.

    Sparks inspired by Fire Lord's Vix-Tal's rally cry to secure the border around the Core take to ramshackle fighter ships in an effort to ensure eyes in all directions against the Same.

    After asserting the consequence of war upon those who endanger the galaxy or Hearth with the Same, Fire Lord Vix-Tal travels abroad in search of like minded warriors petitioning civilians and soldiers alike from multiple civilizations. Many are initiated as Sparks but none are required to undergo the mystery rituals of Shadow and Flame, In Accord to stand against their AI threat. Vix-Tal spends a great deal of time in Kombuch and Celenian space teaching on the nature of Fire and conflict in the former and learning of more advanced civilizations methods in the latter. The Fire Lord balks at some Celenian Officers assertions that boarding actions are improbable and quotes the power of the Source as greater than any mechanical terror. Still Vix-Tal offers his own services and experience to the organized and efficient military power and gives a passionate and emphatic speech for their donation of two frigates.

    Non-Action:
    Accept Two Military Units from CEL, the Squall and the Tempest. Fire Lord Vix-Tal and Voice of the Council Antich Heaventreader frequently visit the Squall to keep in touch with the Celenian known as Constantine.

    The Meritocracy, Allied Realtaist Kingdoms and the Genmod Rebellion

      The legendary android Fleet Captain Tough Van leads a Meritocracy scout fleet north, however they are soon intercepted by the hastily assembled war fleet of the allied Realtaist kingdoms of Anteguo. Van's incredible prowess in ground combat is of no use, and the Meritocracy fleet is forced to crash-land on C9. The royal fleet does not pursue, instead continuing to C7. It is hoped that the pirates who stole a few Meritocracy ships a few years ago may be found here. They are also widely blamed for the recent attack on C9 and D8.
    2. [Economy]Expedition B12 (2d6+4) 11
      War! Out of the crater in the middle of Mar, thousands of counterrevolutionaries, sensing a weak Meritocracy, climb out with guns blazing. Their offensive soon hits a literal wall of steel, as vast numbers of war machines march/roll into the city. Streets turn into bloodstained piles of rubble. However, the so-called "Genmods" (The name is from Genetically Modified Humans. They tend to have chlorophyll-colored hair, to absorb sunlight.) do not give up and support uprisings in the countryside through their vast network of underground tunnels. One can hardly go anywhere on the continent of Ríall without hearing explosions.

      For now, the Meritocracy seems to be holding its ground, but the top civil oficial, State Investigator Coz Han, is concerned about the government's security, and orders preparation for the relocation of the Meritocracy capital to the galactic rim. This move would be surely opposed by Marshal Galen, but he seems to be otherwise preoccupied... (see N&R)
    3. [Diplomacy]Claim C9 (2d6+6+1) 15
      Van and other survivors of the 3rd Scout Fleet that have landed on C9 regroup and begin to gather resources and acquire contacts, presumably in order to rebuild their fleet. Van's loyalty to the revolutionary cause is now proven beyond doubt - surely, they would have defected by now if they were a traitor.

      The demonic, genetically modified inhabitants of C9 soon find and surround the Djinye. They had heard that genetic modification of humans earns the death penalty in the Meritocracy, and intended to send the bodies of the 3rd Scout Fleet back to Bespéartha, to notify the Meritocracy that they take issue with the law in question.

      However, Alisandr, a charismatic, easy-going young nurse attached to the 3rd Scout Fleet, manages to convince the Immortals that the 3rd Scout has deserted to escape the dismal living conditions in the Meritocracy. Additionally, it can provide invaluable intel and manpower against the space invaders, whoever they are.
    4. [Economy] Buy out Yeather TP D12.1 (2d6+4) 8
      While citizens' hunger was sated for the last few years by the mysterious ship that arrived from nowhere, the birth rate on Bespéartha shot through through the roof, possibly because families sought to fill the universe, which had been revealed to be much bigger and, in a way, emptier than previously thought.

      Pirate ... once again sets out to acquire the famed foodstuffs of the west, but returns empty-handed. The Por, taught by Selin, now believe in a stable world order and shady personages like ... don't beling in it. Although King Zirkon's patience and sense of humor are fabled, they are not infinite. He might tolerate piracy, but not incompetence, Gods forbid! ... is finally formally accused of piracy and exiled from Minera.
    5. [Diplomacy]Claim E11 2/2 No roll
      Selin Eutarche is seen in the west of the Djinye's part of the galaxy, accumulating a herd of followers but always on the move, eager to let as many people of Axiom as possible know the light of Realtaism. His ...persuasive nature means that the natives of various planets hide him when a Meritocracy or Realtaist Church-endorsed fleets are searching for him, to put him to justice and righteously punish him for his crimes, respectively for discriminating between people by birth, and for heretically twisting the meaning of Realtaist holy scriptures to state that the gods, in fact, do not exist.

      He finally settles in the populous system of Elabana, where many have already accepted the true, dual nature of the Universe, after receiving a letter from Aoife, who has (reluctantly) allowed his brand of Realtaism, hoping to gain a new ally.

    News and Rumors:
    • The effort to form a galactic alliance is noted by the Djinye but, for now, they are largely too busy fighting for freedom and justice against other Djinye doing the same. Vive la révolution!
    • Marshal Galen secretly meets with hid erstwhile mentor Aoife, to ask her what the hell is going on with her and also in general. Firstly, she should be dead. Even if she did not die in the Revolutionary War, gun in hand and surrounded by a hundred dead Imperials, as it was told, she was about to celebrate her bicentennial birthday when the war erupted. No one, not even with the Elixir, has lived quite so long. Not to mention her youthful appearance - it looked like she lost some years. Secondly, he could understand being progressive. He did not hate Realtaism like his predecessors, he even allowed it. But he could not understand why, for the Hero's sake, did Aoife become a Legate of all things, the same person that some eighty years ago swore to kill Realtaists on sight?

      Her reply: "God likes to work in mysterious ways, Galen dear... And, as I am sure you know, he expects us to figure out what he's done. If I, who can directly peek into his mind, told you, it would be cheating a little, don't you think?

      But fine, I get it, you want to see the old Aoife. I'll ask you a favor that she'd ask you, then. Why don't you go and declare war on Minera? I can't stand Zirkon, so smug, you'd think his little kingdom has already subjugated all of Axiom. Show him the Meritocracy's might. If you crush him, and you will, the other states will certainly be swayed to your side. ...Just remember the lessons you learned as my student."

      With this, she almost literally throws him out of her
      chamber, and shuts the door. Galen, completely perplexed by the sudden change of the direction during her speech, meditates for a long time in his office, letting Coz Han run the Meritocracy. In the end, he decides not to declare war on Minera. Zirkon was certainly a pompous idiot, but his people were many and varied. He would not have them suffer in a war unless he made sure that he could not open their eyes to make them see the injustices of monarchy...
