    Default Looking for Archlich information

Hello all, I remember reading in my 2e Monster Manual mention of an "Archlich", or good-aligned lich - but I don't think there was any information apart from the comment that they're "as rare as hen's teeth". What other information was ever published about them?

I came here to say it was in a SpellJammer book, but I didn't recall which, so I think Particle_Man is correct. It is possible that it was republished aftwerwards (e.g. in a Monster Manual) but it certainly wasn't published before this (and I have the first 6 or 8 Monstrous Compendiums).

Lost Ships has a particular adventure featuring an Arch Lich, and also has the Monstrous Compendium entry. I don't know if it was ever reprinted anywhere else.

Thanks gang! Looks like Lost Ships is available from DriveThruRPG for a small amount, so I've picked it up and will take a look.

There was a specific Arch Lich in MC15 Monstrous Compendium - Ravenloft Appendix II.

I say specific, because it is a NPC Bardic Lich by the name of Andres Duvall. While it provides a Monstrous Compendium entry, it does state that he is not a "true lich", but it goes on to say: "Still, his powers resemble those of these foul undead so strongly that it seems best to classify him among their number."
"Its amazing how hostile people can get about an entirely optional campaign setting that they werent forced to play."

Thanks for the tip! Do you know if the information is any different to that found in Lost Ships?

Thanks! I looked up the entry in Libris Mortis too, but that isn't a huge amount of help - just seems to be a half-arsed attempt at Deathless
