    Default EK Multiclassing

Hey ya'll! Just had a few questions from a player about spellcasting with multiclassing. I understand the concept of spell slots gained when you multiclass 2 Spellcasting classes together, but they're looking at something like Eldritch Knight or Arcane Trickster for one of their spellcasting classes. In the spellcasting rules it has Paladin and Ranger levels counting as 1/2 each for calculating total spell slots gained when multiclassing, is there anything similar for EK and ATs? I checked into both and they each have the feature titled Spellcasting so it should overlap somehow.

It's 1/3 for Eldritch Knights and Arcane Tricksters -- it's in the same section, so you might've just accidentally missed a line! :)

    Right, if you're a 3rd level EK, you're a 1st level caster, 6th level EK 2nd level caster, etc.

and when multiclassing your EK you divide EK levels by 3, ROUND DOWN.

so a 5th level EK and 5th level AT -> is only a level 2 caster.
