Rabble! aka Let's Get This Straight, You're The Sidekick!

So I've been working on this a while, a long while actually, and I'm nearing the end of the first of 36 planned issues and wanted to get some feedback. It's a comic based on my old Mutants and Masterminds campaign journal that revolved around a bus full of random people becoming the world's only superhumans and obviously letting the power go to their heads. I like the shading you did on the first 6 pages, are you planning to shade the rest of the pages as well?

My only real complaint is that I found it somewhat difficult to see the shape of the tree monster clearly on the first readthrough, shading (or colouring) might help.

Hope you'll continue the comic, I'd like to see the rest of this story :)

Thanks for the input!

We've been experimenting a bit from page to page, but I think we're starting to settle into our groove. Initially we were shading with markers, which looked pretty sharp but was expensive as hell, but we've since settled on shading the second issue with pencil.

After we build up a little bit of a page buffer we plan on going back and touching up a bit of the first issue. We'll add shading throughout and might even redraw a page or two now that the artist is more comfortable with the characters.

Yep, that's the one! I've been trying to get a comic going since before we even finished the campaign, but artists kept falling through for one reason or another.

I lucked out though and manager to marry an artist, that was a fan of the campaign, so now this has become our project.
